    98% of my nights are 5. Then 1 night every 2-3 months I get a 10 or a 8. 1 is even more rare and it usually occurs when the visit to the toilet is also for #2.

    The fact that an almost-empty bladder, especially if it's just after partial voiding, is much more prone to leak than a fuller one is also true for me. As for real accidents and their frequency for me, I can't really say since it's almost three years from my last attempt to sleep fully unprotected.

I launch the idea of a "wet November". That's the ideal month, at least in the North hemisphere, to wear & wet 24/7.

Then mention some genetic bad stuff that may or may not happen to members of your family. Up to you to choose, here, since I don't know what's statistically more frequent or rare in your family than in the general population. And then, after this "general" discussion, it will be easier to approach the specific issue.

    The fiction was already alluring, but the actual engineering and testing makes it so much more tempting to check out in person. It has the same sort of appeal of hypnosis, but while hypnosis works only as a reinforcement of something you already fully desire, this is meant to brutally break down any mental barrier you may still have and irreversibly change the automated responses to stimuli (i.e. let go the bladder asap instead of clenching whenever you feel there's something in it), almost without long-term effects on the anatomical bits down there. Compared to surgery or stents, this looks a much more appealing method to acheive permanent incontinence.

    In case of noticeable leaks, I would for sure try to remain calm, confident and rational. Having a B plan for any contingency is desirable, but not always feasible. Usually, it's a matter of staying flexible and improvising. My main focus would however be on attracting as little attention as possible. There's always someone malicious, ready to collect dirt from others so to use it once it's convenient for them, and I would prefer to give them as little ammunition as possible.
