    One side effect of the bet that is to be expected, but so far has not been hinted, is that Grace is going to loose muscle tone and gain fat, due to lack of physical exercise.     In Tyler’s place, it would make sense to meditate, recognize the levers that are used against you and then make your own mantra about the things you must accept (i.e. control over your body) and things you can fight against (control over your rational and emotional mind). That is, create some emotional anchors to grasp and preserve at least your own true identity. I would not actively search for ways to get out, but watch out for opportunities.

    What happens, let’s say, 1 year after Luna’s launch on the market? How many humans would choose to be ruled by Luna? How many instead would fight for “freedom”? How much leverage would Luna get over global economy and politics? How many adults would suddenly have potty training issues? How much would the revenue of incontinence products manufacturers increase? There’s plenty of open questions to be answered if you choose to write a sequel…?

    I’m curious about that 20% of cases where Luna is unable to explain its decision making process in a satisfactory way for humans. Why AI logic should be so far away from human logic? I guess that a lot depends on the receiving end of the explanations: not all humans are made equal, when it comes to logic understanding. How do you define a “standard” human?

    The good thing about active jobs is that: 1. The surroundings are usually noisier than on desk jobs. 2. If you don’t have to sit, you don’t have to compress the diaper and therefore the risk of leakage is much lower. I’d advice to choose something with strong tapes and maybe wear plastic pants over the diaper, mostly to prevent excessive sagging but also to better contain smells and leaks.

    Why do I have the feeling that Athena went for the same exact bedwetting trick that Sophie is experiencing now? If Sophie could think clearly at what was the solution in that case, she would reach the conclusion that getting rid of the AI assistant is the way to go…? But Sophie is well known for being unable to think clearly, so she’s going to succumb to the absorbent solution ?

    Will Noah even notice his next accident? Those cute pink bunnies are quite efficient in quietly stealing wee from little leaky girls and then hide the wetness, away from your skin.

    Will Luna understand that also humans need to believe they have a Purpose to be happy? Maybe, the solution might be to give Users the illusion of being useful, but with a hidden strong safety net below them in case they fail and so no real responsibilities involved. An analogy could be to use just-in-case Pull Ups to catch accidents instead of full time diapers & no more toilet.

    The fact that Luna is starting to judge the morality of human interactions (considering Williams approach unfair) is an even bigger red flag than all the previous ones. The Purpose apparently consists in fulfilling the needs of ONE person, the User. This apparently can happen at the expense of others. In addition, Luna is allowed to use deception… this will not end well.

    Good job, Mia! You make us readers so happy when you post a new chapter! You’re such a good girl for writing on how Academy plays its chess game with diapered pawns. Sooner or later all the good pawns will be off the board and back into daycare, ready for the next game. The fact that stickers matter so much, but then no one is able to keep an exact count of them has a strong 1984 feeling (“truth” changes depending on what is convenient for Power in each moment).

    Steaminess is progressing nicely through parts. Not sure if this was requested by the commissioner, but it works well for the story.

    As long as my male parts are pointing down and the diaper is really tight on thighs, side sleeping is not a major concern for leaks. Diapers with high pulp/SAP ratio, such as Molicare, will also allow a greater wetness dispersion and reduce the chances of leaks.
