Like many of the posters here, I'm a local and I actually write for an Unofficial Guide to Disney Resorts, a guide book of some repute. The weather can range from impossibly hot (rare) to cloudy and cool (June Gloom, count on it). Downtown Disney is a cool place to hang and there are a ton of things to do (won't repeat what the other posters have). If you're into food and/or wine, I do recommend Napa Rose inside the Grand, immediately adjacent to the Park. Prolly the best restaurant in OC. Have fun!

Somewhere along the line our spirituality got hijacked by religion and almost nothing good has come of it since. Call me a cynic if you must.

I was born with spina bifida and incon from birth. Like the line from the Simpsons when Milhouse says, "Bart's even less popular than the kid who still wears diapers," pretty much describes my childhood. Once it was revealed I still wore diapers and plastic pants, I couldn't buy a friend. At one point, a girl with epilepsy actually thanked me for showing up and taking the heat off her. My only salvation... we moved about every 9-12 months so I always had a few weeks before I was ostracized. But, hey... it sure made me one tough hombre, both psychically and physically.

Oddly enough... I disliked potatoes (even French fries) and cheese as a kid. Now, I love both!

I guess everybody's different. I have to self cath about 5-6 times a day (timed toileting). It's no big deal. I also get about 4-5 UTIs a year and that's been a big deal. UTIs are no fun. I even had a bad reaction to an antibiotic, Levaquin, which caused both my biceps tendons to snap off the bone within a week of each other. Just like the other posters have said, it's a risk and reward issue for you.

I have ordered from them for years without a hitch. Brian, the owner, is very sensitive to service issues. However, eastern Kentucky, where ABAIP is located, has been hammered with severe winter weather of late and almost half the state is still without electricity (and probably internet) service. Be patient, he's a good guy and runs a good business.

Almost any post office, train or bus station has lockers you can rent for like $.75 to $1.50. Through your stuff in, insert coinage, lock and walk away. Good till ya go back to retrieve it. Mo

Having a loaded gun pointed at my head and being told I have just a few minutes live usually does it for me.

It is the real deal. I developed the scents and made the initial commercial venture (mommiescents.com). I spent over a year in R&D, even tracking down and interviewing one of the original developers of scents for Pampers diapers, designed the labeling, etc. The Diaper Scent was developed after the original idea behind the original Pampers scent: a combination of freshly laundered cloth diapers and baby powder. I don't know how close it is to the original (I didn't have anything to compare it to) but, through extensive beta testing and surveying with the AB/DL crowd, the scents were favorably received. What if you asked your family, "Would you deny someone who can't see, glasses? Someone who can't walk crutches? Someone who can't hear, a hearing aid? Someone with diabetes, their insulin?" Maybe they'd get the picture from these analogies. Mo

There's yet another episode where Sponge Bob and Patrick adopt a baby clam and at one point, Patrick reveals he's wearing a diaper too (and likes it). Very AB.

When the folks here talk about cranberry juice as a prophylactic for UTIs... it's best to remember that the best cranberry juice is the raw, pure juice. Stuff like Ocean Spray contains a mixed bag of things including a lot calories and sugar you don't need. The best I've found is the pure cranberry juice from Trader Joe's market. It's pretty tough to choke down (more like medicine really) but so much better for you. I have A LOT of experience with UTIs , none of it any fun. Yer Friend n' Foe... the Everpresent Mo!

Throbbing pain in the kidneys is a BAD sign if you have a UTI. Accompanied by a fever, this symptom means the infection has migrated to your kidney and is very serious. Cipro should cover it. However, Cipro comes with some risks, too. After a course of a similar drug (same family of drugs called fluoroquinilones), I ruptured both my biceps tendons. I get about 3-4 UTIs a year (I self cath to drain the bladder) and have had some experience with this. See a doctor NOW! Mo

Plastic pants can repaired with vinyl glue. I do it all the time. Mo

I've never been out of diapers so to speak... I was born incon and will probably die incon. I've never known anything different. Do I enjoy it? Like the previous post, it's like asking a blind person if he/she enjoys being blind, it's the only thing I've ever known. I do enjoy diapers from time to time but the incon thing is nothing but a big hassle! Mo
