  1. okay, here goes: have a diaper and a baby wipe. standing, pants and underwear down to my knees, wet diaper still on. flaps opened, whole thing folded in half lengthwise and fluffed up a little. this pops up the leg guards too. between my legs laying on top of my pants/underwear. old diaper off. brought up so the left guard is underneath where it belongs, attach lower left tape. fix right guard where it belongs, attach lower right tape. square it on my waist, attach upper right tape, attach upper left tape. fold over big waistband flap if it has one. pull up underwear and tuck diaper in, pull up pants, done! that's my favorite way! it takes about 2 minutes and doesn't require any support.
  2. nifty! i'd reach out more often but these days i am working from home and skosh on time, money, and diapers ? good to see local people!

yep! other than me, i guess ;-)
  4. hi sam! i am from near okc here. welcome to the board!
  5. i thought of putting the m4 stripes inside my cell phone case (inside the transparent back), but chickened out.
  6. i used to live in valpo...
  7. this community is biased toward incontinence (or pretending at it), of course.
  8. fairly new to colorado springs...
  9. many of the responses in this thread seem very demanding, like almost a drug-pusher vibe.
  10. luckily i just found a nearby store that sells tranquility atns by the pack, $13.50
  11. i had lost an entire stent in my bladder once :-( it was a modified rubber foley, never inflated, cut short and with a string attached. i drank a lot of water, waited until i had to go, and went outside behind my toolshed to pee on the ground. it felt like this: psssssfloobtsssss ;-) i was just lucky it didn't tie itself into a knot or something! :-D long retrieval strings are important!
  12. if i haven't been around for a while, i'm probably not dead. you are more than welcome to send me a private message and i'll get it eventually. if you've figured out who i am, "it takes one to know one" ;-) if you want to see my surprised face, find me in person and ask me what a whisko is :-)

  13. i guess i'm geeky, because the first thing that i think of when i hear "condition" is a change in a process based on a fact, like an "if" statement. someone who has a condition has to do some things conditionally, such as "i can enjoy a theme park if i have a wheelchair (i can't walk far)", i can shop for groceries if i have some help finding things (i'm blind)", or "i can sleep over if i come prepared (i'm a bedwetter)". so for that reason i agree with some of the above posters: it's a condition if it limits what you can do.
  14. insurance companies are perfect for ab/dls. every day they help people who have had accidents ;-)
  15. i do 95% more reading than posting. sometimes i don't have an opinion; sometimes i do but i know it would just come off as a gripe, and that's no fun to read. and even though i figure i'm respected well enough, if i stopped coming here or posting at all, most likely nobody would notice. people fade in and out all the time. just like any other random internet forum, it is here for your enjoyment as long as you follow the rules and the owner pays the bills. nobody is keeping score :-)
  16. applause to drunknfox for all that effort making the "spectrum of diapers"! :-D
