it seems to me that is a feeling of loneliness, that is a common thread with depression, feeling like there is no one really interrested in understanding you. that feeling you want someone to have, of sincere interest in you, imagine what that feeling is, and go looking in the world for someone you feel that way towards, maybe they will begin to reciprocate it. it should be reciprocated after all.

it was made for the war, but after the war it was commonly used for duct work, and so it went from being called duck tape to being called duct tape, indeed funny, you missed the point entirely. i dont have to carry around a roll of tape, i dont have to prepare for a tape failure, because i use duck tape every diaper change, and so my tapes never fail, and thus i dont need to carry around tape just in case, you keep carrying your safety pins and worrying though, doesnt sound easier but you do you. i have many prefold cloth diapers that i have spent months wearing consecutively without a disposable, so i certainly get what cloth is like. lately im back in disposables though needed the convenience as of late.

dont forget the other perspective. what if you own a business? what if your employee is doing something you personally disagree with? wouldn't you as the small business owner like the freedom / the right to choose who you employ? the ability to replace them without having to prove to the world you had just cause? it is your business after all... public institutions are different, police firefighters etc, those are owned by the taxpayer and so the taxpayer should say what rules they discriminate by, but shouldnt a private business owner have rights to decide who runs his own business? and if the private owner is discriminating for poor reasons the public who keeps his business afloat has the right to stop purchasing from him, a boycott, thats free market ideas. if the government steps in instead thats a nanny state.

i feel molested every time i go through the airport and tsa has to grab my crotch, we need to outlaw that... im sure females dislike that too...

settlements can and usually do have multiple demands, a monetary payout could have been part of it, exact details havnt been shared publicly, all i know is one day in discord when it was brought up and moo was present he said the change to 18+ only was a direct result of that legal battle, further details he wouldnt elaborate. so no idea if there was a money payout, id bet there was but who knows.
