  1. most mornings I’m drinking down an ice cold Diet Coke with my meds. I love the smell of coffee but find it too bitter to consume.I’m awake before my alarm at four-thirty weekdays to arrive at the office five-thirty or six. I work in the home construction industry and I’m the guy you call when you need help with something with your house. I just finished a complete restoration of my twenty foot Lund Tyee fishing boat that I drive four hours on Friday’s to spend fishing from it in north Wisconsin. When not at work, I help anyone in my family that needs a hand or an ear or just about anything else. My wife and I enjoy time with our two young grand kids. I have a wicked sense of humor and can defuse most any tense situation with a bit of wit. I love to read, mostly technical stuff or repair manuals especially for a project I alway seem to be working on. I spent my youth drag racing and or building up my Camaro to either win then next race or outrun the cops. Lol! I love the outdoors, traveling out West and spending time with family. I’ve been a car mechanic, an industrial mechanic, middle management and construction manager. If you need a friend or someone to vent to or whatever, I’m the guy to call.
  2. They could be no-see-ums, we have them here in the Midwest. They are tiny black little suckers or should I say biters! A true nasty creature that their only purpose is to make you ITCH for DAYS.
  3. I really like the quality of the Tykable onesies. For one, they are all one piece. I purchased several some years ago on Etsy. They were basically long t shirts with the bottom part surged on a never quite matched together. Tykables are a first quality adult sized onesie. I really like the wide flap that covers the crotch as it is wide enough to cover most if not all of my Better Dry diaper. The five metal snaps are also a PLUS.
  4. For me it’s just automatic. Every time I put on a fresh diaper, my body lets loose a small amount of urine. It’s not an earth shattering void, just enough to christen it..
  5. I wet my diapers around the clock so I am in a wet diaper pretty much all l of the time, from slightly wet to totally soaked. There are times when I have just taped up a fresh diaper only to pee in it moments later. So I make sure my skin is well protected with Diaper rash ointment and baby powder. There’s just something comforting about wearing a wet diaper!
  6. Thanks to all who contributed their advice to my most. Much appreciated?
  7. Right now in this COVID economy, McDonalds is paying right around fifteen bucks an hour, so go work there. Why don’t you look at this another way.
  8. I have a family vacation coming up at the end of this coming week and into the following as well. I figure with so many more people up north than usual, I may not have a convenient time to change my diapers. So I ordered a single pack of their medium booster pads to add to my Better Dry diapers. Well I woke up this morning to a totally soaked diaper and onesie and bed as the booster pad seemed to overwhelm the leak guards and cause the leak. I am usually soaked pretty much every morning without a booster pad without the leaking issue I had today. Does anyone have any personal use information on these?
  9. When Attends were good, I used to get them there. Unfortunately nothing good lasts forever. When HDIS was online in those yearly years, there wasn’t much competition for them and certainly not the variety of premium adult diapers like we have today. I don’t think that they kept up with what people wanted and now look at them...nuff said!
  10. Even I got a tear in my eye reading the last sentence for it is the ultimate dream of most every diaper boy ever. Despite grammatical errors and some words out of place, you have written the introduction of the year. I look forward to reading more so keep it coming.
  11. Steer clear of the carbs and the salty snacks and start walking a little bit. You can do it if you have a mind to..Best of luck
  12. You are correct Diapergirl, diaper Dean, this will take time, lots and lots of time. You may never become incontinent but you will be diaper dependent. So before you venture into wet diaper land, are you prepared to wear a diaper and only diapers the rest of your life? Not everyone is. However if you are set on a diapered life, get rid of your adult underwear so there in no way you can go back. Start diapering yourself even when you want give up, (like their is no other choice) and then make yourself pee often and not when your bladder signals that it is time. Maintain this routine while your body and mind relaxes enough to allow you to pee without warning .Bladder loss does happen in TIME just how long is up to you
  13. I was out for beers with friends many years ago. Anyone who drinks beer knows you end up peeing a lot the more you drink. After the others had made several trips to the restroom, one of the asked me, “What’s up with you, do you have a hollow leg or something that you don’t have to pee yet?” I replied simply by saying No, I wear diapers! To which there was a moment of shock and speechlessness and then laughter and someone yelled, “Good one you got us on that one!” And the conversation moved on.
  14. I can’t believe I won! Now if only I can do the same in power ball!
  15. Well talk about baptism by fire! You certainly experienced full bladder/bowel incontinence without warning, wow you are quite brave to be so positive after such a blowout. I am 24/7 also, however it is for loss of bladder control. I’ll admit I have had an infrequent bowel movement in my diaper but it’s rare and not something I embrace. Congrats on your baptism once again
  16. I am in diapers 24/7 for bladder incontinence. I wake up every morning in need of a change as I will be VERY WET. After a shower, I lay out a Better Dry diaper and sometimes a booster pad depending on how long I will be between diaper changes. Normally I am in the same diaper for eleven hours or so. I pee like toddler, in that I will pee small amounts of urine all day or night long. Sometimes I may experience heavier voiding depending on my stress level. So under normal circumstances, I will be wet front to back when I finally change my diaper.
  17. How true this is. Having a connection with a loved one who understands your needs and loves you anyway is truly special. How does your wife feel about your Daddy? Does anyone else in that group no you wear? It would be cool if they did. However only you know them and their dynamic. What you explained here today shows how lucky you are, cherish this relationship. Many here would love to have what you have
  18. I say go for it. However you will want to be in a dry diaper going through security if possible as you may be get flagged. Otherwise wait until you get through security and then put your diaper on. I have yet to be flagged and go through in a diaper all of the time. Enjoy your time alone in the diapers while you can.
  19. Congrats on the completion of your diaper marathon! Hey we are all different here. I loved being in diapers so much I just knew I needed them around the clock. Many of my diaper wearing friends use them as a diversion, for stress relief or just plain fun once in a while. No rules here and certainly no judgement on when and what you wear.
  20. Ask yourself this,”isn’t this a better frame of mind than becoming withdrawn, depressed or house bound?” Knowing that in today’s world, loss of bladder control is not the stigma it once was and people are more aware these days. I’d say becoming a DL due to bladder issues is a far better alternative to these issues and allows us to still be active in life. Yes wearing a diaper reminds us of being a baby or not being grown up so that could bring on a submissive tone. Not to mention all of the different diapers that are on the Internet today, it’s hard to imagine more incontinent people not leaning towards being an AB or DL. For people like me, diapers make me feel safe and secure, knowing I won’t have a urine stream running down my leg or soaking my clothes at any give time. The more time spent wearing diapers in my opinion, the more accepted they become to us and it’s easy to feel submissive and perhaps a bit naughty that we’re back in diapers. I still believe this is a much better outlook on life than believing your life is over. And if you think about it, what’s wrong with letting your inner child out in the open?
  21. I used to be a fan on the ConfiDry brand as they were thick and really held up well all day and that’s a plus for me as I wear 24/7. Unfortunately eight or nine months ago, their quality control began to slip in my personal opinion anyway. The tapes were either stuck to each other or didn’t stick to the diaper. I then tried Better Dry diapers. The plastic backing is silky smooth and quiet and the diaper itself swells up extremely well over ten hours or so. If I had an unlimited budget, I’d be tempted to try Rearz or bambino’s. Wearing around the clock and at work and play, Better DRYS are easily number 1 for me.
  22. Case in point, Rusty. My cousins kid has never need told the word “No.” All through his life he has been told he looks tired and should rest. If life gets to hard he should quit his jib and do something else. His mom says, “Chris just hasn’t found his way yet!” Chris is now forty years old, goes from job to job when he is bored or whatever. You can never say,”How are you doing these day, to him because he will tell you how rough his health and life are. chris lives in his room in his parents basement. He doesn’t contribute financially to the bills or help his parents out in anyway. Unfortunately his behavior is tolerated by both parents. The last time my cousin asked his son when he is going to find a better job to support himself, he looked at his dad and said, “ When you find me a better one!” Good parents want nothing but the best for their children and guide them along the way to adulthood. Those that don’t end up with adult kids like Chris. And comfortable diapers has nothing to do with it.
  23. Just so you know, My inner child is alive and well!
