Lately I feel that I want to just retreat into my little selves and stay there. Of course I can't because I have to many adult responsibilities such as my capstone paper, work, my new course that I am starting in June for trauma-informed care. I just wish I could just close that Pandora's box that was opened last year.

Well, find some fun silly duck!! The last year and a half has sucked all the fun away. But, we are two and a half weeks away from my birthday and our trip.
If you try the float spa tell me how you liked it. For me the thought makes my anxiety a little high.
Daddy is never old!!
Okay, time to pay attention in class. TTFN

Happy Thanksgiving. We get to have Thanksgiving snow, which is strange because we live where it rarely if ever snows.

Yes, you are but that is good, better to be silly than not. My elf Sparkle says it is 5 days until Christmas and you have to be good. She is having a tea party with Elsa and Anna under our Christmas tree. I am officially on Christmas break, daddy has the day off too, yay!! I made it through the first semester of graduate school with A' in both classes. We hope that you are doing well, not working too hard and all.

I am not one who would ever decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving. However, 2020 has pushed me to my limits. I have both Christmas decorations and Thanksgiving decorations up at the same time this year, which I kind of like. I need to surround myself in happiness right now. I am tired of anxiety attacks this year. Memories won't leave me alone. Thankfully my husband/daddy has been great.

He did not give up the guitar but he is now focusing primarily on the violin.
The goal isn't a crime you are correct. However, it has to do with the self-destructive behaviors that daddy thinks I may go back to if for some reason the 4.0 doesn't happen. His concern and the therapists concern is that they do not want me to put pressure on myself. It's complicated.
Thanksgiving was nice and quiet but relaxing and full of good food. My elf, Sparkle has returned, well a couple of week ago. She makes sure little Maggie stays good. Today Sparkle is trying to climb the Christmas tree. 2020 cannot ruin my holiday's.

I did it!!! I will be graduating with my Masters in Early Childhood Education with a 4.0. Now I gave up my goal of keeping a 4.0 last summer when people who had my best interest said that I was putting to much pressure on myself. That was true given all I was going through last summer and even now.
Now I can allow the little sides more freedom, not that they don't already have freedom to be out whenever they want. As a treat Maggie can get the SIsu dragon from Raya and the Last Dragon, she is obsessed with the dragon.

I am so over this awful, horrible, rotten Wednesday. At least I got a bunch of new diapers today, the only good part.

Is a very, very sad little baby. Today my sweet little puppy dog of 10 years died so suddenly.
-
A sad day in our house as we had to put my daddy's dog to sleep after my dog died so suddenly a month ago.

Thanks Duckie and Brian,
My first birthday trip was supposed to be our cruise to Alaska but thanks to COVID it was CANCELLED AGAIN. So for the third time it is rescheduled for next summer. Third time is the charm or so I hear. Anyways Hawaii is option number 2. Still fun though.
Brian, my anxiety is always high these day, but since I am high risk I am super careful. We are both vaccinated as well. I used to live in Florida.

Lunch and homework, no more procrastinating.

So extremely happy. My Infant/Toddler Child Development class ended on the 6th of April and I ended up with an A in the class. I had 297.80 points out of a possible 300 points for the class. I really enjoyed the class and for the final paper, we had to write a "Day in the Life" of an infant or toddler demonstrating our knowledge of quality caregiving.

This isn't meant in a mean negative way & I hope you don't take it in that way, but its kind of along the same line as warpiper's comment. I bet you scored so well because probably because you might have a better understanding & knowledge of what infant & toddler needs are. In any event though, congrats & I bet you'll do great!
-
Thanks everyone, I intend to post the paper because the child "Maggie" is based off of me. So I do understand what warpiper and Rockies Fan are talking about, it was a little easier but I had to demonstrate my knowledge of the many different aspects of quality care and such. Oh and Duckie, I am never growing up nope not ever.

I don't feel good.

I can't wait for our party on Saturday!

Some animal attacked my doggy yesterday morning in our back yard. Daddy and I have no idea what is was but my doggie has a big ouchie and I am not happy about that!!!! Whatever it was took a chunk of his fur off exposing his flesh, thank goodness it was not a puncture wound.
-
Yea! An actual thunderstorm with rain. Such a rare occurence where I live.
-
So happy that I got A's in both my early childhood education classes. Now I am so over being sick for over a month, it is taking away all my fun.
-
Need to concentrate on writing this paper for school but can't focus. Anxiety over doctors appointments next week is starting to creep in so that does not help. I really want to snuggle with my blankie, bottle and watch a Halloween movie or take a nap.

Homemade pizza for dinner, homemade brownies and homemade ice cream for dessert. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Ugh...Daddy told me my birthday presents are being delievered tomorrow and I can't open them up until next Wednesday night. My birthday is Monday but that is when the big me is celebrating with her husband/daddy. Then on Wednesday I am having a Frozen birthday for my two year old self and Square_Duck is coming to my party so I can't wait until then. I will be busy until then though, I finished school today and will graduate with honors recieving my AS in child development on Friday.

Has beeen one very sick baby this weekend. I have a sinus infection and then got the flu on Saturday with a fever of 104.8. That really sucked since I was soooooooooo happy that daddy's business trip was cancelled due to the hurricane.
-
What a day. First it was being overtired and fidgety. That did not go well, ended with a spanking and having to take a nap. Now my tummy hurts and I feel sick. I think it is time to go to bed
-
I hate being sick!

The community college granted my one year one day residency, now I am waitlisted for three classes and hopefully can get into all three. I guess I will find out net week when classes start. I am a little nervous about the thought of three classes but it was all my decision and daddy believes I can do it after geting A's in both my classes last semester and getting on the Dean's list.

This has been the longest birthday ever. Daddy and I have been up since 3 am trying to get from Baltimore from our weekend trip. Weather in Houston had us rerouted to Corpus Christi were we sat on the plane for 3 1/2 hours before going to Houston. Now we are in LA getting ready to board a plane to San Fransisco, were we will get on a plane to Ontario, CA were our car is. Then an hours drive home. By the time we arrive home we will have been traveling for 22 hours. Flying sucks!!...

My little selves are having so much fun on vacation. Maggie had so much fun on the boat today while her daddy went diving. I really needed this vacation. The boat, the waves, wind in my face, reading while daddy was diving, it was just what I needed. Oh and I am completely obsessed with chocolate milk bubble tea.
-
Looks like the vacation WAS exactly what you and your little selves needed, and during it, you are able to indulge in things, and enjoy the time together: My parents were married in 1983, and they told me that they wanted to go to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Ironically, my parents have been happily married for 38 years, and they STILL have not taken an official "honeymoon" and they have not gotten to Hawaii yet, and I don't know if they plan on it someday, but My brother Dan was "stranded" there fir a WEEK when the C-135 transport he was riding in when deployed was broke down - He looked like he enjoyed himself.
I NEED a vacation at some point: However, I don't see that happening Unless my bro Eric flies me to Dallas to see him, or to Orlando to spend a week at their timeshare condo at Westgate.
Chocolate Milk Bubble Tea?? YUMMY!! what is that? Sounds like something that is as good as a glass of HOT Ginger Tea, or Ginger ALE: My Favorite
Glad you are having fun - send some more sun up here to VT for me *grin* *hugs*
Take Care, Have FUN, be SAFE!
Brian
