  1. Most likely a case of microeconomics at work here. Target probably has a flat-rate discount for boxes of specific sizes that allows them to save some small amount of money by shipping four smaller boxes instead of one larger one. It might only shave off a few pennies, but over large numbers of customers those pennies add up to real money. Years ago McDonald's experimented with outsourcing their drive-thru orders to India with the order being relayed back to the store in the US. The total savings was a penny per order, but over the number of customers the stores served daily it added up to a significant amount of money. As for Amazon using the postal service for smaller orders, that's been going on for several months now. Apparently they worked out a deal with the USPS to diversify their carriers a bit more. Smaller packages now typically come USPS, but larger ones come through UPS.
  2. This right here, although I'm not sure how I'd feel if I were a Transgender ticket holder to one of these events. The bathroom law would be bad enough, but then losing the concert on top of it while well intentioned, might feel like an extra blow. I think willnotwill's idea is honestly the better way to have handled things. Raising a little hell over the issue can be more effective than a boycott while also doing less collateral damage. Let the bigots walk out if they don't like the stance being taken. There are two things that could very likely happen now, neither of which are good. 1. The US Supreme Court hears the case and deadlocks 4-4, upholding the NC ruling and effectively setting a precedent for similar laws if this goes to court before a new Justice is confirmed. 2. The courts rule that because bathrooms are for biological functions, they're not assigned based on gender, but based on biological sex, playing with semantics to uphold the law, and probably including some provision that all new buildings must include a separate, lockable restroom as part of an equal opportunity initiative, including "transgender people and parents of children of the opposite sex" in with elderly and disabled people who may also need such rooms. As for whether or not cis-gendered people have already exploited the transgender community to gain access to a restroom of the opposite sex, I can tell you that it definitely has happened. I once spoke to a guy (who was kind of creepy anyway,) who was straight, but who did go through the effort of crossdressing just to use the ladies room. He didn't take any pictures or accost anyone or do anything else, he just wanted to use the ladies room and knew he could pass himself off as likely being trans if anyone asked any questions. Nobody asks questions when women use the men's room to begin with though, the assumption is that they just got sick of the line for the ladies room that's always twice as long. As for the law in question, my thoughts on it are well known: it's stupid, unenforceable without severe privacy violations, and pure lipservice to bigots. And really, the obvious solution that no one will ever get their heads out of their asses and run with is to just do away with any gender markings and to just have "restrooms" used by everyone. You deincentivize pervs from misbehaving if men and women can both use the stalls in the same restrooms since there's no ladies room for the perv to try to get into, and he could find himself dealing with another guy he does anything to a woman in the restroom. This also removes the engineering nightmare of gender specific bathrooms and the bottlenecks they create. Finally, although I hate to admit it, BabyJune is right about the mistrust of men in general. This is really basic "intro to sociology" stuff, the assumption is usually that if you're male, you're not caring and are likely going to be up to no good. People (wrongfully) tend to view single fathers as creeps and single mothers as victims, even though its entirely possible for a single father to be more together than a single mother depending on the circumstances. The same goes for other facets of life too, and it doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.
  3. The problem with cloth-like adult diapers (at least all of the ones I've had any experience with) is that they're made differently than cloth-like baby diapers. Peel the cloth-like cover away from a baby diaper and you've got a plastic-backed baby diaper that works as it should. Adult diapers are made differently, that plastic backing isn't there, peel the cloth-like cover away from an adult diaper and you've got a mess of SAP all over the place. As much as I like cloth-like baby diapers and things like GoodNites, anything larger is made in such a way that it usually ruins any advantage that the cloth-like cover offers outside of having a cloth-like feel. I wouldn't mind a cloth-like option if it was done the way baby diapers are made, but it would need to strictly be an option, and not a flat-out replacement for what we have now that works wonderfully. As long as adult diapers are made the way that they are though, I have to go with that last option even if I'm fond of cloth-like baby diapers which actually got it right.
  4. Correction, some girls in the ABDL community are absolutely pathetic, as are some guys. There are plenty of women who star on the kind of sites you mention who are perfectly well grounded, and more than capable of holding an interesting conversation. I'm in touch with one that I met on here a few years back pretty frequently, and she's an absolute blast to keep in touch with, and not at all an asshole, at least not in my experience. While others do let their (perceived) fame go to their heads, and definitely deserve the same kind of humbling that the Fine Bros. were recently subjected too, I don't consider them to be the majority of ABDL females. I also don't see anything wrong with charging to create content, or paying for said content. I wouldn't call my friend an SJW (she will play devil's advocate to her own position and is capable of forming her own arguments,) nor would I call Ally an SJW, but there are plenty of SJW's in this community who are incapable of an original thought that isn't the popular talking point from their sides point of view. You can usually separate a SJW from someone who can actually form an argument of their own if they deviate from the common talking points of their side's arguments and aren't afraid to take flak for doing so. Some people do this well, while others simply do not. Also, while having a tumblr doesn't automatically make you an SJW, tumblr is a breeding ground for SJWs, especially in the AB/DL and DD/LG communities. I can't remember where this was, but I once saw tumblr rather accurately described as "porn and misandrist filth," and while that might be a bit hyperbolic, it's really not far from the truth. There's a reason why people who don't run a tumblr but view tumblrs of others tend to frequently look at it like a freak show, and that's because it tends to get pretty crazy pretty often. The primary problem is that while there are some exceptions, it really panders to a groupthink mentality where anyone with an original thought that doesn't follow popular opinion is immediately clobbered for not falling in line. As far as the pay-for-porn sites go, I see nothing wrong with them, although I would like to see higher quality (pressed) Blu-Ray content aimed at this community. At the end of the day though, I don't have anything against porn sites, so AB/DL porn sites aren't an exception. I'm in the creative field and I actually disagree with you on this. Rule #1 is to give just enough away to generate consistent repeat customers, even if you could make money off of some of that content. The short-term loss is always outweighed by the long-term gain if this is done correctly, as the free content can be the difference between someone paying for lots of your work, or someone going with someone else whose given away more material that better showcases what they do. As I mentioned above, there is someone in this community who I genuinely consider a friend who would fall into the category of people that we're talking about. I don't consider her needy of public favor and attention by any stretch, and I appreciate her work as well as her creativity and ability to have an original thought. Additionally, I would argue that it isn't the need for public favor and attention that rubs people the wrong way with certain models, so much as it's the random gross lack of tact when the tin cups are out. Now my friend is gracious and polite regardless of whether or not she asks for something, but a lot of female AB/DL models are just as socially awkward as AB/DL males, and equally lacking in self-awareness when they ask for something, especially if people aren't buying their content as frequently as they might once have. Some become incredibly abrasive when they don't get their way and then can't understand why some of their followers could possibly be assholes. (Well duh, if you're an asshole you're going to attract other assholes!) The reason my friend has such wonderful followers is that she treats them like people instead of ATMs, and they in turn treat her like a person too. Now to be fair, there is an exception to the "asshole rule," which is that if you start out intentionally behaving like an asshole on day one, people already assume you'll act a bit nuts and generally just roll with it without any real backlash. This is sort of what Howard Stern did when he first made it big, he shocked everyone who heard him, alienated the people who were never going to like him, but built a fanbase around being a bit of a jerk. When I created my first blog for friends, I immediately set a tone of "fuck you, and if you don't like it, fuck you harder," because I knew that if I started by being a dick, the expectation would be that I'd occasionally be an ass and everybody knew what they were in for and couldn't reasonably bitch that they didn't, and it worked exactly as I'd hoped. This only works if you do it from day one though, it's not something you can do after you've established yourself as someone whose not a jerk. Also, while I don't mind the use of the DD/LG label, I do appreciate it when someone embraces the AB/DL label, especially the DL portion of the label even if they also do DD/LG stuff. It's okay to cater to both crowds, and to focus on the DL portion of AB/DL as frequently as the LG portion of DD/LG. Yes actually, and I'll give you an example. NBC loves to promote its new shows to the point where it beats viewers over the head with upcoming shows until several people who were interested might decided not to watch just because of how annoying the constant promotion is. ("The Blacklist" managed to recover from this, but several other shows never did, with "The Player" probably being the most recent example.) Some online services do the same thing, ("Buy our crapware, we keep promoting it every three seconds!") as do other businesses. If I feel that a business promotes its crap too often, I make a note not to buy from that business just to deprive them of a sale for something they spent a fortune beating me over the head with ads for, and yes, they're attention whores too.
  5. The smell of my pee by itself? I'm not really sure, I've never paid much attention to it. The smell of my pee mixed in with a diaper? It can be nice, but I could take it or leave it. Now if we're talking about the smell of wet diapers in general, that would depend on who the wet diaper came from. It's not just you, P&G intentionally scents their baby diapers, (both Luvs and Pampers,) and for Pampers, they've formulated that scent so that it's stronger when the diaper is wet than when it's dry. Luvs are a budget brand that uses a cheaper fragrance, so the scent hits you like a bulldozer to the face if you get within three feet of a sealed package, at least that's been my experience when passing them in the diaper aisle. (Unlike Pampers, the scent doesn't change, it's just strong from the get go.) I personally prefer KC's Huggies since they don't have a fragrance added to them, and I like the natural smell of an unscented diaper. If I want a scent other than "pee" when it's wet, I may throw some J&J cornstarch powder into the diaper before putting it on.
  6. I'll definitely vote for him assuming that he doesn't drop out of the race before my state holds its primary in June, although I also feel that even if he wins the popular vote in the Democratic primary, he might get cheated out of the nomination by the super delegate system.
  7. Emphasis in bold is mine, but this is really the main problem with ABDL pornos whether they're mass-produced "commercial" efforts or homemade material from actual AB/DLs. I don't even mind if someone continues to rub a diaper for a bit after they've orgasmed because I've been guilty of doing that myself, and it's the kind of thing like a building falling in slow motion that never happens in real life, but that we buy in every action flick imaginable. My real problem is that everybody seems to shoot a static shot of the exact same scene with a camera that never moves anywhere for the duration of the video. If there's a plot, it's usually a very thin one, and that's driven home hardest with crappy gear and terrible directing (and in several cases "acting") skills. The one good thing about "homemade" content is that the acting is natural, but everything else is usually still a mess. If I were directing, it'd be either a multi-camera or multi-take shoot. (I'm tempted to go with multi-cam just to avoid any blatant discrepancies between something like a close up and medium shot of a diaper being wet.) I'd want to shoot on something like the Blackmagic URSA if I could afford it, but even the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K would be a leap above what most people are using, even if I needed a sound guy with separate audio gear, which is how things used to be done anyway. At worst, the Panasonic DVX200 would be a good camera once it's calibrated. (I can live with the fixed lens even if I'd prefer an interchangeable option for the MFT sensor.) I'd want someone who understands audio involved with the production too, specifically so that there would be decent quality sound that doesn't sound like someone stuck their phone in a tin can and hit record. As for the story, I think you'd either have to take a sci-fi or "psychological drama" route to avoid the pitfall of the film being extremely cheesy. With a sci-fi route you could have some event that regresses your characters to more babyish versions of themselves retaining some adult characteristics, that could allow for the use of diapers. With the psychological drama, you could initially work diapers in as part of a traumatic experience, and then have your characters use of them be part of a coping mechanism. Anything else tends to be problematic for this fetish, especially for first time writers. My biggest problem though is that obnoxious fixed camera angle that never changes, or if it does change, changes maybe three times when it's obvious that the person shooting the video moved the camera to change "scenes." If someone is masturbating with her diapers we should see a medium shot of that, especially as an establishing shot, but there should also be close ups of her face, her hand, her diaper as it gets wet and as she masturbates with it, and even an extreme close up of her eyes if she squints as she starts to groan and orgasm. Cameras should go where people normally can't, and this is something that nobody ever seems to grasp when shooting AB/DL porn and porn in general. Even just changing the camera angle (without making it obvious that you also moved the camera and changed the audio) from time to time would make things look a thousand times better. Oh, and set design! This seems to be an afterthought most of the time. Occasionally someone has an AB/DL setting, but the rest of the time it's video on a white wall or in a room that has no decoration in it, and it's boring as hell. Put some stuff on the walls, buy some props, and dress the place up a bit. There's nothing worse than a video that looks like it has no background unless it's some sort of instructional/how to where a blank wall is tolerable since you're trying to focus on one task and not on a true scene in the traditional sense. Oh and I'm also into filmmaking DrunknFox.
  8. I did check the website FunTime, but it was loading very slowly for me and I couldn't find where they referenced discreet shipping. I'm aware that Rearz ships their products discreetly, (and I thank them for that,) even though they state that some stuff from other manufacturers might ship in packaging that isn't discreet without a request for discreet shipping, but I wasn't sure if Agecomfort would just reuse the package from Rearz or stick the products in their own packaging. Still, I agree with you that they might be the better choice for some Americans once the sale you mentioned in the other thread is over. We seem to be in agreement that under normal circumstances, adding shipping and then figuring out the total is the best way to determine which site is best for each person though. The shipping is what most Americans are (understandably) complaining about, but if the lower shipping cost at AgeComfort is offset by a higher price for the product, it might not be a better deal, at least not depending on where you live. The northeast and upper midwest are probably going to fare better going with Rearz directly while the south and southwest are probably going to wind up better served by AgeComfort most of the time. It also looks like Rearz has pulled their custom-printed briefs (apparently days after I got my order in too, so I'm glad that I didn't miss the chance to get them,) and their limited edition feminine design in advance of the release of Seduction and Princess Pink diapers. The "block" designs are still available though.
  9. I'd think that discreet shipping and billing might be a concern for some. Does AgeComfort bother to hide any markings on the box or label the package in such a way that the company name isn't blatantly visible on the shipping label? Rearz does, and that's pretty important to me in case someone sees my package before I can get it and bring it in. Does AgeComfort bill discreetly? Rearz shows up on my bank statements in a way that it could be anything. Having something labeled "AgeComfort" on there could raise some eyebrows among others in my household. As for the price difference, Rearz asks $36CAD ($28.08USD) for package of 12 Spoiled diapers while AgeComfort asks $35.99CAD for the same product. Rearz asks $100CAD (78USD) for a case of 48 Spoiled diapers while AgeComfort asks $135CAD. I paid about $32CAD for shipping on my most recent Rearz order, and about the same amount when I purchased a case of Rearz Spoiled directly from them. AgeComfort might be cheaper for some people who are further from Rearz, but it looks like it actually cost more for a case of Rearz Spoiled from them if you live where I do, even if discreet delivery and billing isn't an issue. Agecomfort's pricing by the bag looks to be comparable to buying directly from Rearz, but they charge more per case, so I would suggest that people compare the shipping prices between the two depending on where they live. You might be better off buying from Rearz if you're closer to Canada, but if you're further south AgeComfort's flat-rate shipping might be better for you as FunTime has pointed out. The increased case price could still be offset if your overall shipping is significantly less expensive when using AgeComfort. Just remember to convert the prices from Canadian dollars to American dollars, and on Rearz site, to compare American dollars to Canadian dollars with a currency converter so you can figure out if you'll save anything buying from one company instead of the other. (You might be better off paying in Canadian dollars even with a small transaction fee depending on the exchange rate.)
  10. Were yours a custom print or something? All of mine have come inside of a cardboard shipping container and arrived undamaged. The Spoiled and similar lines are inside of traditional packaging. The custom printed diapers were shipped inside of what looked like kitchen trash bags, (most likely because the original packaging had to be opened for Rearz to print the custom design on the tape panel,) but those bags were still shipped inside of a cardboard box and arrived without any damage. I can't imagine why they would only ship your diapers in black bags though, especially since Rearz would have known that they had to go through international shipping. I hope that you at least attempted to contact them and see if there was anything they could do to compensate you for your damaged order, and I'm sorry that it arrived the way it did.
  11. I've done polls on this in the past for the whole year but not on a monthly basis since it tends to fluctuate to wildly for me to figure out an average. Over a year though it tends to be around $500 for all of my diaper purchases, sometimes more although I try to make it less than that when possible.
  12. I got a letter from my bank today. They froze my card after a recent purchase from Rearz for "suspicious activity." On one hand I'm happy they keep an eye on my account, but on the other this is still what I consider a "nightmare scenario." Had they called instead of sending a letter, I can only imagine what my family might have heard. One call to the bank and everything was fixed though.

      Glad it was fixed:

Had you bought diapers with the card before the ones from Rearz?

Not only had I bought diapers with the card before my recent order from Rearz, the diapers that I'd bought were a case of Rearz Spoiled around the end of last year. I'm guessing it was the fact that it was an international transaction that they found suspicious. The only difference between my first and second purchases were that the first one was in US dollars and the second was in Canada dollars, so I'm guessing that might have had something to do with it. I know the bank automatically flags certain transactions such as ones that occur outside of the country or in person in a state far from where the cardholder lives, but since they didn't flag my first purchase from Rearz, I figured I was in the clear with this one. After flying out of state a few times with a different card, I learned to call the bank for that card in advance to let them know I'd be traveling so that they wouldn't flag the card while I was away.

I got lucky though, apparently the bank tried to call after the Rearz purchase but the voicemail system just never delivered the message so they sent the letter instead. While I doubt they'd have mentioned what the purchase was for on a voicemail message, I'd still hate to have to deal with the situation if they did.

My PayPal is shared with someone who I'd prefer not know I use diapers. A credit/debit card is much less of a hassle for me.

  13. I noted that such toilets exist already, (I've also seen ones that do this with buttons in concentric circles,) but that they all still suffer from being low-flows, at least in the USA. Everything sold here has to be a maximum of 1.6gpf and increasingly 1.4 and now 1.2gpf which is where the problems start. (High-flow toilets were typically 3.5 or 4gpf.) It's that stupid ban on toilets capable of more than 1.6gpf that makes the dual-flushers completely useless on what's available now. Even modifying the federal ban so that new 2.5gpf max toilets could be created with dual flushers would be an easy fix for this though. (It's not the same 3.5gpf that used to be common, but it's more than what's currently available.) A 1.4 or 1.2gpf urine/2.5gpf feces design would be significantly more practical and efficient overall than what's currently available. A 2.5gpf design could be mandated to have dual flushers so that people don't just use 2.5gpf for everything. And yes, I'm aware that the federal ban is only on the manufacture of toilets within the USA and their sale domestically, and that you can still buy 3.5gpf toilets from Canada or Mexico, but a lot of areas have local building codes or state regulations that prohibit their installation, and most people aren't aware of this or can't afford to import them even if such regulations aren't an obstacle for them. A lot of contractors also incorrectly believe that the ban on the manufacture of such toilets is a ban on their installation, so they typically won't install them even if areas without local laws prohibiting their use.
  14. Do I feel bad for the environment? Yes, absolutely. Do I feel bad for the environment because of my diaper consumption? Not in the slightest. I went "green" before it was considered cool to do it. My lighting has been energy-efficient for over a decade now, most of my electronics are pretty eco-friendly and/or highly recyclable, and I keep my carbon footprint pretty low. I like disposable diapers, and while they skew my carbon footprint to be a bit larger, I consider them acceptable given what I've done to offset that increase elsewhere. I recycle significantly more than I put in my trash cans, and do my part and then some to avoid unnecessary pollution, so I don't feel bad about indulging in diapers. What I do feel bad about are people who just don't care or don't bother to even do something as basic as recycling, or larger corporate locations that don't even attempt to recycle or offset their carbon footprints.
  15. I wound up doing some research on this issue after my package was delivered just out of curiosity about why there were no tracking updates for so long. Apparently ISC Chicago has had similar issues in the past where items either just didn't have tracking updated or in some cases wound up being delayed until people called them to find out what was going on. The most recent report of mass issues was in 2014 though, but earlier reports seemed to indicate that there would be several issues for a short period of time and then nothing when they seemed to have problems, so it's possible that this was a fluke, but it's also possible that somethings causing an issue with the sort facility's tracking again. Either way, it's definitely not something that I'd fault Rearz for since it's completely out of their control. The USPS is usually quite good for my various purchases, which is why I was surprised to see tracking just stop the way it did. At least the package arrived when it was supposed too though, so I'm guessing it was just a computer glitch of some sort.
  16. I'm pretty certain use of the Rearz name would have to be cleared with Rearz, depending on whether or not that's possible some names may or may not be usable. You could also do "Zraer," if you needed to avoid the Rearz trademark. I've even got a slogan for that one, "Zraer: Canadian diapers available south of the border." I'd also propose "Behindz" as another way to suggest that you're a Rearz distributor without using their trademark.
  17. I apologize if this seems wildly off-topic, but has anyone else had an order from RearZ seem like it's "stuck" at "ISC Sort Facility Chicago IL?" My tracking information was updating pretty quickly until February 27th, and it hasn't updated since then. I understand not having an update on the 28th since that was a Sunday, but no update yesterday and no update today have me a little concerned since I don't think I've ever had a package reach the US and then not update for two or more days. I know a scan is occasionally missed, but I would think that this would have been scanned at least one more time by now. Both USPS and Canada Post show the same tracking info though, so I'm not sure what's going on. The last thing I want is for these to show up when I'm not around to grab them, or to potentially be left outside when there's a chance of rain. Edit: My package arrived today. Tracking information resumed when the package arrived at my local post office around 6AM. I have no idea why the tracking stopped updating, but the delivery was right on time.
  18. I'm terribly sorry to hear that things have gotten worse and will obviously continue to keep you and Deb in my thoughts Repaid1. I've lost multiple relatives to various cancers over the years so I definitely feel for you.
  19. All products size medium. Spoiled Custom-printed Night-time briefs (assuming this would be possible) Inspire+ InControl I'm equally likely to buy any of those depending on what the final total would be after shipping and how discrete shipping is. I've just bought Rearz recently, so it could be awhile before I need more, but if someone is acting as a distributor for them stateside again, I will be very likely to purchase them from that distributor once I need more.
  20. Bought some new GoodNites the other day, can't wait to get some time when I can actually enjoy them.
