  1. The Megamax XL size does not fit me well at all. Its too big. I actually had to drop down to larges in order to get a proper fit.... They are great diapers. I'm really impressed by how well they are put together...
  2. Hey Drummerboy27....I'm a big guy too tipping the scales at over 370 lbs. I can wear most XL diapers out there. That said...I wear the Abena L4's a lot of the time. Now this is going to sound silly....but it works for me. I can't put a diaper on in the usual way by lying down and taping it on. I have to pre-assemble the diaper and then pull it on like a pull up. Sounds weird but it works for me....and no...the tapes don't pop off when I'm pulling it on. The trick is that the diaper has to stay BELOW the belly. Anyway....one diaper that has the strongest tapes are NorthShore Megamax. Those tapes hold on tight. To the point that I find them difficult to take off. Another brand that holds on great is InControl Original and InControl Essentials. These are medical type diapers but they perform very well. The only diapers that I struggle with are the ones with the hook and loop type fasteners. they just don't stay attached when I'm pulling them up and my big ol belly gets in the way if I try to re-tape them. As far as ABDL diapers I've tried.....most diapers from Rearz that have tapes. Most diapers from ABU with tapes. Two tape diapers from both Rearz and ABU work well. In fact....I've yet to find a plastic backed diaper with tapes that I cannot make fit. As Crinklz mentioned it's best to get samples to see what really works for you. I recommend trying my method. Just go slow when you pull them up and have some fun.
  3. Hopped into an InControl Original this AM and did a quick road trip to the next town over in my Jeep. Time to take it off now as I have other 'business' to attend to.... The InControl Originals are really good diapers BTW....
  4. I'm in a thoroughly soaked blue Megamax. I'm going to change into an Abena L4 here in a bit to run errands in....
  5. No boats between Juneau and Anchorage? Really eh? I would have thought that route would be on the ferry schedule....
  6. The only Dr I wear diapers to is my Dentist. I prefer to avoid the awkward conversation I'd have with my Doctor about why I'm wearing diapers out and about.
  7. I like them. I don't wear them often....not often enough really....but I do like them. Actually....I like most everything Rearz puts out if I'm honest.
  8. Hey folks. Do any of the Tykable diapers have regular tapes instead of Hook and Loop fasteners? Regular tapes work better for me so I try to avoid the Hook and Loop ones. I'd really like to try out some Tykables soon.
  9. I have a few packs of Drylife diapers and ID Expert diapers that I bought off of Rearz a couple of years ago. Both brands are excellent medical type diapers that I would buy more of if I could get them at a reasonable price. I think the ID brand went exclusively cloth backed...which is too bad but that's the way things go sometimes. I did buy a bag of Pride diapers from the Dotty Diaper Company but those are just for collecting...not wearing.
  10. The first ever 'Adult' diaper I ever worn was Attends. I didn't even realise they made adult diapers so when I first found them in a local pharmacy I was in heaven. The first ABDL diaper I ever worn was the original Bambino baby print diaper...which was awesome. Nowadays we have so many great choices for diapers. I try to get my hands on most of them...even just to try them out.
  11. What would constitute 'treatment'? I'm not sick or otherwise unhealthy so 'treatment' would be wasted on me. Now...if this lifestyle is encompassing everything that makes you 'you' then perhaps a discussion with a mental health professional might be in order....but that could be said about damn near everything these days. People often have knee-jerk reactions to AB/DL's anyway. They don't understand what this lifestyle is all about and base their judgements on their own biases. We are living in a very polarizing period of time right now so all I can do is turn off all the noise and do what makes me comfortable.....and that's wearing diapers.
  12. That was a great article. It's good to see that some people just get it and they express it too. Aside from that....how cool would it be to work at ABU? I'd likely get fired for sampling too much of the products 😁
  13. A bit of a blast from the past. Those were all I wore for years until P&G sold them to Paperpak and they became a shadow of their former selves.
  14. Fortunately there have been some pretty decent diaper sales on recently which has allowed me to stock up quite significantly. I guess I'm fortunate enough that I really like the Abena L4 plastic backed diapers which I can get for a reasonable price off Amazon. I've also taken advantage of Rearz and InControl diaper sales and bought a few cases of those lately. Honestly....if all I could afford were cloth diapers I'd likely give up the lifestyle. No desire to ever wear cloth at all....
  15. Nope. I don't feel guilty at all. There are plenty of people in the ABDL world and plenty of people who suffer from incontinence that need these diapers so I'm sure if I don't buy something from one company for a while I won't really affect their bottom line.
  16. Waistbands all around! They're the best. Very much prefer my diapers to have waistbands front and back.
  17. I hear that. I've got quite a few diapers myself. I've been stacking cases out in the open in my bedroom for a while now. A good problem to have IMO.
  18. Hey folks. To all my Canadian friends who wear XL diapers and like the NorthShore MegaMax diapers, Age Comfort is having quite the sale on them right now. A case of XL Pink is going for 106.61 CAD right now.....which is a pretty decent price for us up here. Individual bags are cheaper too. Might be worth checking out if you're getting low.
  19. I try to get my money's worth out of my diaper so I will wear them until they leak. Unless I'm out running errands or whatnot I want to get as much mileage out of my diapers as possible.
  20. I managed to get some of these diapers a couple of years ago. I still have a few bags left. They are really good diapers. I put them on par with ID Slip Maxi diapers. I actually like them more than the MegaMax diapers as they seem to fit me much better than those. The MegaMax is a great diaper...don't get me wrong but I still like the Drylife more.
  21. Abena L4 plastic backed. Filled to the brim. These are my 'go to' diapers.
  22. I have one of the original Bambino 'Baby' print diapers. I also have a bag of the Tena Slip plastic backed diapers. Those are probably the oldest one's I have.
  23. Yep. I had these desires well before the internet was around. Once I got online and found the abdl community it was life changing. It was tough going through life thinking you're the only one out there into diapers.
  24. My wife found out I used diapers when we first slept together. I had to come clean when the sheets were soaked with more than just sweat in the morning ?
