it's never a "normal" part of aging. many forms of incontinence can be controlled, or even cured. talk to your doctor and get an appointment with a urologist.

it's not made of steel, but the catheter does not need to be made of steel to do a whole hell of a lot of damage. In my experience, a normal sized catheter has a 10cc balloon, and when people pull it out, they do damage to the urethra itself, and end up with some bleeding from the urethra for a while, but they don't die. On the other hand, a 30 french foley is usually going to have a larger balloon, like 30cc, and that can cause considerable damage if you pull it out. You're talking a multiple day hospital stay, and surgery, and it is likely that they will repair the damage without leaving you fully incontinent. If you don't go to the hospital, you are GUARANTEED to DIE from infection or kidney failure. You will get a blood stream infection from the damage to your urethra. The bleeding will clog off your urethra making it impossible to urinate. This will cause urine backflow up into your kidneys, causing damage to the ureters and then the kidneys. Then you will again die, unless you get your dumb ass to a hospital and end up o dialysis for the rest of your life. Don't do it. Use your brain.

I was wondering if there could be a Washington, DC section in the meeting place forums so the people who live in the very highly populated areas of DC, VA and MD can all use it to meet up. well if she can pee normally at other times, it's probably not retention. It can still be a UTI without having pain, if it is higher up in the urinary tract. Go to the doctor and have them do a urinalysis with cultures, that should tell if it is a UTI and what type of bug would be causing it. Do it TODAY! Don't delay. UTI's are easy enough to treat most of the time, but you have to be sure you know what you are dealing with. Good luck, -piper

yes, this is a problem she could be retaining urine, or it could be a bladder infection. Either way, she needs to see her doctor pronto. It can cause several other problems if either of those things are not treated. -piper

apology accepted. I had reasons to believe that it was true, mostly regarding medical knowledge that is beyond that of even practiced medical professionals and her ability to come up with reasons for all the bizarre things that were being done, that when i would think about it, i would be like, oh yeah, that would have to be that way. I was also skeptical, because I have never seen somebody come out of a coma that quickly, and honestly I should have known right then and there, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. You can ask some people close to me, they can attest that I have been quietly skeptical since she "came out of her coma" the first time. I've just been biding my time so that I could be absolutely sure beyond a reasonable doubt. I apologize if my zest for uncovering the truth caused me to string people along. As one of the biggest players in the lilshybaby saga, I felt it was up to me to let you know it was all a hoax. She claimed to me that she lost her internet a few weeks ago and came back on and found all this hate mail. I know that she has both a computer and a blackberry, so even if she lost one of those, she still would have been able to get e-mail. I found out that she was still alive by stalking her fetlife account and then waiting for her to update it. And she did. And i confronted her, and then she came online this morning and was all like, oh, "I had no idea. It wasn't me," implying that somebody had hacked her account. She went on to claim that the times she had previously updated her fetlife account in those last few weeks was when a friend of hers had visited her. Make of it what you will, but I can't talk to her anymore. -piper

I checked on lilshybaby's fetlife account, as I have been for the last week to see if there was any updates in her activity, and sure enough yesterday there was. She replied to her "daddy" on there and commented on one of her own photos. I messaged her, and all I know is that the message was deleted by the person in control of the account. It is pretty much definitely a hoax. -piper

a friend of mine got an adult baby crib from babyapparels.com made out of wood. They painted it the way they want and she loves it. it's much more comforting than one of those cold steel contraptions. i'm just saying is all... -piper
