If you're like me, you've gone looking more than once for diaper references in Japanese anime and manga. If so, you've likely discovered the regular stuff is just often one off gags or instances and the hentai (porn) devolves into mindless sex about 99.9% of the time. Omujo is neither of those. It's a legit manga, albeit one made by an artist with a hentai-ish origins, and the most sexual thing seen to date is a fantasy by the main character on chapter two of (as of this writing) twelve. The story follows Shouta Oone (pronounced Oh-nay because Japanese works that way) whose humdrum high school life takes a turn when he gets a peek up the skirt of his classmate Ichigo Otohime and discovers a diaper where panties would normally be. Ichigo is a shy girl with a nervous bladder, so her interactions with Shota often end in a wet diaper for her and, if she's particularly unlucky, her and Shouta in some kind of compromising position. Morei Nekomata is a childhood friend and neighbor of Shouta who's loved him since they were kids. When she sees one of the above compromising positions, she assumes Shouta has a diaper fetish, but her attempt to exploit it and declare her feelings causes her to unknowingly convince Shouta SHE'S the one with the fetish. Muni Nunota is an upperclassman who sees another incident and makes the same assumption as Morei. The difference is she actually IS a diaper girl with a preference for cloth and an eagerness to include Shouta in her games. And with that we have the cast of Omujo. Chapters are ten pages long with the majority focused on Shouta and the last few pages flipping to whichever girl he interacted with that chapter. Though later the cast is big enough to play with the formula a bit. At the risk of triggering, I'd had a thought of a collar that delivers a shock to a Little that speaks more than so many words at a time or says a word with three or more syllables as a means to enforce baby talk.

A thought occurred to me: if the Amazons in Albion are finding an caring for "damaged" Littles, could the ones in Catalon be criminal Littles sent to the diaper dimension in lieu of other punishment? Could certainly explain the heightened strictness.

I don't intent for this to be a one-off. It is, however, a low priority project between Student's Pet (which I am working on) and a couple of non-diaper story things I have in the mix. That's one reason I specifically wrote this to be self-contained. If I never got around to it again, it's not just left completely dangling.

A corollary Theory of Narrative Casuality is that anything that can be conceived to exist must at some point exist, no matter how patently absurd.

Here's a couple thoughts that I'm not sure have come up: Is Amazon society female dominated? It seems like it should be on the surface. The name Amazon alone is a clue, and it certainly explains why society has no qualms about allowing Amazons' parental instincts to run so free they can up and take a Little off and baby them. If so, what roles do men have in society vs the women? Do Amazons have a low birth rate? That would justify, for a given definition of justify, their babying of Littles to satisfy the motherly feelings they can't easily pour on to their actual children. Alternatively, in that situation would they actually breed like rabbits without Littles to curb the need?

And possess a maternal instinct bigger than they themselves. Be it a controlling "smother" or a loving "mommy", that's a particular constant in a lot of amazons.

Maybe they view Amazon-less dimensions in much the same way that they view places, like islands countries iirc, where Littles live without any Amazons at all. A curiosity to be sure, and a place where potential adoptees might come from, but not much more than that.

When I saw the name "Little Garden" my immediate thought went to the manga/anime One Piece. There's an island there called Little Garden, named specifically because that's what it is... to its prehistoric, dinosaur inhabitants. Seems kind of appropriate that our protagonist is in a similar situation (only replace dinos with amazons)

This was posted by ausdpr recently in the "maintain a DD Archive" thread and offers an idea of perspective of Amazons and In-Betweeners. Also, just now had a question I thought of and wanted to share: Amazons in the Diaper Dimension generally believe Littles, and to a lesser extent In-Betweeners, are incapable of functioning on an adult level, hence the childish treatment. My question to you: Are they right? In your opinion, are Littles in the Diaper Dimension actively deluding themselves with dreams of adulthood that, in reality, they can't handle? Or are Amazons so hardwired to see Littles in this way it never for a moment occurs to most that they are adults in every way except height? Not sure where I stand yet. I like the idea of playing with the ambiguity though. In Student's Pet, a running theme for the Little protagonist is that she knew ending up in diapers was inevitable, but that's just because that's what Amazons do to Littles, right? Now, maybe not.

That's not even getting into egregious spelling or grammar errors. That said, look up "The Diaper Genie". Girl makes a wish to be taken care of like a baby again and a jackass genie grants it for her by making babyhood go into the twenties.

On a mechanical level, bad grammar and spelling ranks high. I'm sure I've missed out on an otherwise good story or two because it was nigh-on unreadable. I briefly beta'd for someone but had to cut it off because I started feeling less like I was offering suggestions and correcting errors and more like I was personally re-writing the story from scratch. Though, in their defense, last I saw they had improved on their own merit. In the story itself: getting sexual. Or, more specifically, getting dirty and sexual. I can abide a sex scene or two, but the moment such a scene or a diaper change or similar starts talking about cocks and pussies, I check out.

A little note to those following the story, in hindsight, and following a couple of critiques that mention the same issue, I'm going to be tweaking the ending a bit (bsically after Summer wakes up from her nap) since I felt I rushed things a bit. I got it done and got so excited about finishing it I posted it a bit quicker than maybe I should have. That said, I do want to thank everyone who's said they've enjoyed it sof ar. Hopefully my revision will be even better. It's already looking so, to be honest.

I'm still working off and on with Student's Pet, however this is an idea that was stewing in my head for a long time. I don't expect to update this particular story very frequently. Because of that, however, I'm going to make each update I do make its own, self-contained story.
