  1. What, you all didn't think I was going to post here? Anyway, I would really like to know when people talk about how "quality" Bambino is over the "quality" of ABU, what they are implying. Do ABU diapers fall apart, tapes suck, what? You can not use the word quality to compare two diapers when talking about absorbancy, price, features or a customer service as these are a different category. Quality is an integrity of a product here. If there's nothing integrally wrong with an ABU, quit saying they're of a lesser quality. You should say I feel they're a better diaper because of x, y, z. Adrian, I realize your love for Bambino but I read your blog and this is what you said below about ABU when they first came out. Don't know if you were paid to say it but it seems to contradict a lot of what you say about them not just here but in other threads. For me, I've tried Bambinos. Diaper was pretty good. Only complaint as far as the diaper was on the Large, the bottom tape on the wing is right in the middle so it seems to be up too high for my taste. As far as the features go, they have one of the most absorbant diapers on the market, waistbands and leg gaurds and have a tape panel so your can refasten them numerous times. They offer them in S, M, L, XL. There are plenty of similar priced diapers with at least one waistband, leg guards and similar absorbancy on the market like Abena X-plus or of course the Secure X-plus but this ones just more babyish looking. There are plenty of diapers on the market again that have the waistband and leg gaurds yet are less absorbant and in turn less expensive say like Depend and Tranquility. As far as ABU, I've never had one in hand so I can't really tell you the quality. I really haven't heard anyone actually complaining about there the diapers integrity. Guess you could go off Adrian's review but it was the original with two tapes per side. They have one big tape per side now, a number of prints, leg gaurds and decent absorbancy. Definately the most babyish diaper on the market. The biggest gripe on ABU is probably the price as many think it's too high. My opinion, if you want a diaper that's the most babyish one out there and a completely different design then anything else (not a copy of another diaper) then it's going to cost money to make it and it gets passed down to the consumer. The other thing, they only are offered in two sizes, M and L. Nothing really compares to the ABU diaper as far as style goes though. I'd say from what others have said before, if you can afford them, get them and you won't be dissapointed by the diaper. Really, what it boils down to is this. How babyish a diaper do you want, what features and how much are you willing to spend.

  2. These do look really cool. But ABU's horrible customer service and loooooong shipping times make me wary of ordering any.

  3. Yep. It can happen. People need to be careful what they wish for, sometimes going over board for something you want to try that you think will be fun isnt' worth it. Why can't you just be happy with the way your body works. It's made to close and to keep infections and bacteria out. Call me whatever you want, but I don't get it.

  4. I really liking pooping in my diapers. The sense of relief you get when you've been holding it in for a while, going from such an uncomfortable feeling to just relaxing and feeling a warm lump growing in your diaper. It's all snuggled up next to your buttcheeks, plus at first there's only a slight hint of stinky. Then there's the anticipation of sitting on your poopy load, and that wonderful warm squishy feeling when you mush it all over your tushie. The smell is a little yucky when you finally take the poopy diaper off, but when you're wearing it the poopy smell is not as bad, mixed with baby powder it's quite nice. And for those of you complaining about the cleanup, get a detachable showerhead to make washing off your "undercarriage" a snap!

  5. Yep he works for ABU I emailed the guy on ebay with the contact sell thing tilling him he must work for abu if he had any of these diapers and this is what he sent back to me..You figured it out Tommy! They will ship today. The reason for the 2/20 date is we have a ton of backorders from members to fill first. And there's a slight added benefit from putting a pack here (duh!). And thanks for your comments, we appreciate them good or bad, it helps us make better products. Have a good day, and Go Saints! Kyle

  6. Must be a inside source as they state they have 2 full cases of them. Insane isn't the word..But you'll notice as of this post they already have 12 bids. So the world has at least 12 people who aren't the brightest bulb on the tree. Man, doesn't anyone Google anymore

  7. You guys sure like to pick on Adrian for "going on and on" about Bambino diapers... not sure why that surprises anybody. This is after all the freakin' Bambino thread!!! I mean seriously, she actually NEEDS to use diapers and she has found the one product that works best for her. I would be pretty excited about that too!!! That's what people do when they find something that they really like , they tell other people about it in the hopes that others will be able to enjoy it too! For example I drive a beat up 22 year old Toyota with 315,000 miles on it, and i just love it. I would drive it across the country in it's current state and not worry one bit that it would break down. I'm convinced that it will go forever, and I will tell anybody who asks me and even people who don't that Toyotas are awesome. I think it's ridiculous to criticize someone simply for sharing their thoughts, I mean if you don't like it just move on. Many on this forum have become quite negative over the last while, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. And always remember this... It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

  8. This would be a good discussion on Our Life Style. I don't do the whole forum thing often but from time to time I do. Its been years since Ive last engaged conversation on the topic of diapers online. A few years ago I found myself on Depends.com and I started to post to a forum on dating and relationship challenges for people that use depends (LOL!!! as I was going through one myself at the time). I was not taken in very well by these folks even though my intent was to have a mature conversation on the topic of the particular type of product that the site was marketing... Why not post there? I pay good money and regularly purchase depends so I was determined to stay and hold my ground for the right to be there. It was there that I realized why I was not taken in so well... There where people there coping(SP?) with the condition of needing diapers for a medical reason having to listen to people of our lifestyle enacting there fantasies on this site devoted to the issue of "being" incontinent. I did not engage in any of this but I did see first hand the problem these people where dealing with which was the lack of any sympathy from our community for these people that where seeking real advice from others with the same condition... It is very disrespectful and selfish to come up with make believe stories of how your incontinent and post the details of your fantasies on a forum dedicated to incontinence. I actually enjoyed the stories but I could empathize with those that did not want to hear about the details of this lifestyle. I did post there for some time and did struggle with the moderators of the site for my right to be there. (Like I said I pay good money for the product so I fought to be there.) They should in my opinion have a section on that site that is dedicated to people that do like there product for non medical reasons as Depends should acknowledge that we are out here and we do make up a good chunk on there income statement. But I can understand why they try to hide us from the site... Anyway there is a "Public Space" and a "Private space". I wish our community could be a little more mature when they are in a public space. Most people do not want to know about the details of our lifestyle so please respect that and keep the details behind closed doors or a site dedicated to that... Robert

  9. Truth by consensus is a pretty pitiful way to run it, don't you think? The majority of people thought burning witches was a good idea for several hundred years there... ...wait a second! The majority of people STILL think that wearing diapers for the fun of it is a disgusting sign of mental illness and perversion.

  10. WOW!!!! Adult baby is really taking on a new meaning. Its like were argueing over a toy. We will probably see Daddy DD have to send us to time out. I think for "ME" I like the Bambinos because Adrian likes them and looks hot in them...just kidding. No I like them because of there fit first of all. There absorbance, and how there extra absorbant pads fit well into them for night time use. I can honestly say for wearing them 24/7 I have never leaked. I too was an Attends wearer until these came along. As for ABU, the price doesn't bother me because they are not an everyday diaper for me, just a play diaper. I've have paid way more to have European diapers ship to me in the US. There absorbance is fine to me, the fit isn't that great for me with the single tapes, but I still like them.

  12. There is nothing wrong with a gay guy/gal being a gay guy/gal... I'm just saying that most people do not want to hear the detail of what goes on in his/her lifestyle to those that are not gay. I'm not saying that we should all act as if we don't exist what I am saying is that people don't what the details... If you tell someone you like to where diapers that is fine if you do trust them. But to get into the detail with someone who does not what to listen to the details that is something entirely different. And if you read my post again you will see that is not what I was trying to say.

  15. I went to college so many years ago, I can only remember that commercial diapers were not available and we had to fashion them out of Ficus leaves. Rat.

  16. My urinary incontinence started five years before I entered university. At that time I always wore diapers to bed, but during the day only if it would be difficult to find a toilet. However, before I left home I talked to several current pre-law and law students who told me it was nearly standard practice for women students to put on a disposable when dressing for serious drinking parties. Therefore the day I actually officially moved into my dorm room (knowing my new roommate Rachel was open to my wetting) I was not shy putting on an Attends while dressing for a welcome kegger. Rachel giggled. During that kegger, since I had not consumed alcohol at home, I only nursed a single beer. Rachel was almost 19 and from New York, so she did drink. At the kegger she got so drunk she wet herself enough people noticed, then she puked as I helped her back to our room. From then on Rachel also diapered-up for parties. When I knew a lecture or moot court would be long, or there was no time between classes, I would wear an Attends. By the time I started law school I had very little bladder control even when alert, so I wore 24/7. Except for the single time Rachel giggled nobody ever teased me or commented about my diapers. After I started pre-law I worked during vacations as a paralegal and PI. Following law school graduation I served as a research law clerk with a US Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Once fully licensed I became an associate attorney with my firm. In 1993 I was elected partner of my firm. How strange that in almost 29 years my diapers never were a problem for me and yet fear of being embarrassed about wearing a diaper is such a common topic on ABDL websites? Clearly each of us has a unique experience.

  17. Since it was you who decided to bring religion into the discussion - can you answer these religious based questions - What has diapers or free choice got to do with religion? What has organised religion got to do with personal belief? Why have organised religion if the greatest give we have is 'free choice' and it is a sin to waste what we were given?

  18. Less preaching, please :3 I'm sure everybody here has the ability to make their own choices with regards to faith and will do so in a manner that matters only to them. It's great that you found God in your own special way; but leave matters of religion, politics and other such silliness far away when you come here~ Thank you <3 @those who'd like to know my adaptations; I'll endeavor to get around to sending you three a PM with details ~ obviously this thread has now been derailed by it's OP :3

  19. I'm trying to make some kind of tube that I could insert into the anus that would hold it open and allow unhindered passage of poo. Does anyone have any ideas / seen one already. And yes I know there is a risk, same with catheterization. If I made one eventually I would like to get it to a point where I could keep my anus somewhat closed until there was even the smallest pressure, which I wouldn't be able to hold back. So, ideas?

  20. also this wouldn't be a permanent insertion of course. You could remove it. Possibly would need a speculum to insert it.

  21. It turned out to be a bad decision for me in the end, and I would never wish this upon anyone. I am sorry for even posting the threads to begin with. If you want to talk about god let me know!

  22. Why exactly are you telling all of us to censor ourselves? Because you had a bad experience? The AB/DL community shouldn't hide itself from the world. Telling all of us to keep quiet is the equivalent of telling all gay men and women to stay in the closet and pretend to be straight. It's wrong.

  23. I agree with square duck in the fact Bambino and ABU really only share the fact they make diapers for a certain group of people. Their products are night and day difference with pluses and minuses amongst the two depending on your preferences. Some like one and not the other or both depending on who you are. It's a preference of the consumer as to what they're willing to buy. I think the immature ones are actually the ones who seem to continually BITC8 about us that decide to compare two companies products. It's a brand new product. Comparisons are going to be made. OOOOHHH, god forbid we have a discussion about two ab/dl diapers on a diaper forum. Can't even flippin' compare the price of a diaper without getting crapped on by all these stupid comments of VS. Products are compared amongst each other all the time on DD even on non ab/dl diapers. Why's it such a big dang deal here? Get over it and maybe YOU guys should move on!!! Thank you Just to irritate those who whine about VS. here, I'll compare the two yet again. OH MY GOD CALL THE POLICE!!! Did you know the names of the two companies are spelled differently!!!!

  25. Its interesting to see that the druggie counter culture is alive and well here at DD. I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised given the Hedonistic nature most younger people have these days. You folks can flame me all you want but just know that the majority of people agree with what I say. Maybe you'll wake up one day.
