I don't know how much more stress I can take. Ditch that Jeep and it's battery problems and get a different one! I sold the one I had that was 25 years old and got one that was 15 years old, it's now 19 years old and for what I paid I was able to fix the minor things like brakes, heater and new tires and still come out way ahead. beallucanb
When Jeep ditched the 4.0 six cylinder, their vehicles went down hill in a great hurry. You would be better off getting an old jeep under 2006, or switch to a Toyota product like a Rav4, or a Tacoma. I bought a Wrangler 2 years ago to use as a plow vehicle, because using a Honda Rancher quad was getting very old after plowing with it for 19 years. I was able to sell my quad for more than I paid for it in 2006 because it still looked and worked like new, the only thing it did was plow driveways then got put away. I searched for a long time to find a decent jeep with a good frame, wranglers have frame rust problems, but the great thing about the 4.0 engine as long as it is treated nicely they will run forever. The newer Jeeps are all garbage, you would be better off dumping your jeep, if it is a jeep with the new body style (2007 and Up) none of them were any good, those jeeps will clean you out of cash, faster than a high speed enema. And I don't like to drive, very hard for me to stay focused. i have driving issues myself, i can only drive to less than a handful of places, such as the local store/dollar general/family dollar/gas station/diner(they are all in 1 area, you can see most of them from one place) 4 miles away, maybe another mile for the water office to pay my bill, and a few more miles(10 in total?) to moms doctor and pharmacy, as for the things that make you anxious, if you havent already there is a friend who would like you to give those stressors over to him, he got nailed a cross 2 thousand years ago, i think who Who that is. some churches have buses, they can send one out for ya if you want to go to church, or you can do what i do, i get it on tv, shepherds chapel. you are taking meds, and nothing wrong with that, one of the disciples (luke) was a doctor, but medicine and mental health focuses on just the body and mind, sometimes you need to treat the soul. rusty pins
For many people anxiety is very real! Personally I love being out among people. I go to the grocery store probably 4 to 5 times a week as well as other stores. I enjoy times with friends and also my time at home watching TV or reading a book. I love going on a trip and seeing the sites or going to a casino with a friend. I couldn't imagine myself just staying at home inside all the time and never getting out in this great world with all the interesting things to see, even if it's just a trip to the grocery store. That said, I know people with anxiety over being out in public is very real. I hope anyone with this anxiety can someday over come it or get some treatment to help. It's one thing to just stay home instead, but the anxiety is still there even if you don't go out. There are times when going out may be necessary for someone's overall health, such as doctor appointments, blood draws and the trip to the ER if something happens to them or a family member. Getting help to try and overcome that anxiety may greatly help overall, especially when those situation arise where you can't help but have to go out among the public. 2 Link to comment
