News Reporter Trashes ABDL Community Members

Recommended Posts

It's from OAN, and is only meant to incite rage.   This is unfortunately very common with the current state of journalism.  They are not interested in in informing, but rather their primary goal is to make their viewers emotionally connect with their content.  The easiest way to do is to show anger.   She literally spends her entire segment raging at something.  Imagine having to live life with that much anger

Just in case anyone wants to further discuss this, the video was of Alison, a news reporter. Her show is called 'Alison At Large'. There was some news in there but it was mostly her ranting about the transgender and ABDL communities. I regret that she is not on this forum to address my concerns but I still feel like a discussion is in order.

I agree with her that we shouldn't push our lifestyle on children but she seemed to think that all transgender and ABDLs do it.

She talked about how she feels she is unable to find any common ground with lifestyle enthusiasts. In my opinion, very intolerant.

It's not the first ABDL bashing I've heard on the news. I remember other times I've heard reports shar similar negative opinions on the community in general. Generalizations, in my opinion, can be toxic and dismissive.

I don't mean to just point out the bad. What can we do to raise awareness and promote tolerance? One way I will try is by setting a good example to others by being aware, open-minded and tolerant.

From what I can tell, she is copycat of Matt Walsh. They're not interested in discussion.  They're not interested in doing anything other riling up their based. It is nothing but rage porn.

BTW- rage porn is an epidemic in all forms of media and not just conservative.  All you need to do is review all of the political media covering useless politicians on both sides of the aisle.  In those cases, the politicians are peddling both subjects of rage porn and supplying rage porn to their base.

I was just talking to a buddy of mine about the idea that 'news' today is designed to enrage and terrify people.  Keeping folks in a constant state of fear and outrage is quite harmful IMO.  Polarizing topics will always garner some sort of divisiveness but it's the constructive discourse that is missing from most mainstream and all 'fringe' news outlets.

This "us against them" narrative is getting old quick.....

I think calling her a "reporter" is stretching it. She is a commenter. She is not reporting news, she is giving her opinion on a subject, not reporting news.

Her show doesn't sound like it is meant to be news.  FTR- it's not just news media that does this.   I LOVE watching sports, and the SPORTS loves doing crap like this as well.   I think it's pretty lucrative for them, because she might be the highest paid at OAN.  She is reportedly worth $35million.

Based on her name and being from Northern California, I'm wondering if she is the daughter of Leigh Steinberg, which also makes her a product of nepotism

You said it really well. Personally, I think I need to start voting with my dollars more and not give trashy reporting my time/energy.

Nice, thank you.

Check out the comments. She is Definitely not the only intolerant one. I know that they are few and far between. And I don't hate them for hating on my lifestyle 'choice'. I love them. And I hope that they can grow to love me.

Think about the person who posted the pro-Russia tweet.   It is actually a little scary when you think about it.  20 years ago, I would have thought it was absurd that America could become a version of Germany in the 1930's.   Fear and rage sells.

Man it makes me want to find her and smack some sense into her.

That would be assuming that there is space for sence...

Similar was pointed out in the Godfather, using a stone in water for many years, surrounded by water but never penetrated the stone. One can spend thousands of years attempting to 'smack some sense' into this person, but the efforts will be futile. Some people are incapable of seeing a different opinion.

I presume, that is what @ValentinesStuff is trying to say also.

I'm late to the party, but it sounds like the video was pure outrage clickbait with little to no research. I'm surprised she didn't say the usual trope from the vanillas hating on the ABDL community that "Omg like you guys, you know those freaks get off to wearing diapers, right? Well, babies wear diapers. So, those ABDL perverts are pedophiles!" ?‍♀️

Well, babies wear diapers ... so do some of the elderly, some divers, astronauts, some pilots (single pilot plane on extended missions), some operating theatre staff (depending on the prospective length of operation), some long distance drivers (truck / bus), those people whose job / position needs them to be at their station where a bathroom break is inconvenient and may not be possible... as well as the high percentage of people who cannot, for one reason or another, hold urine and/or poop for the periods needed to suit their own needs / requirements.

If one compared the count of babies in the world compared to those over the percieved normal age of toilet training that wear diapers, one would easily find that number excededs the the count of babies by more that three fold. It has been calculated and conservatively estimated that, apart from babies, 3 to 4 people in 10 (30-40% of the world population) wear some form of protection for bladder / bowel leakage.

From a pscycoanalytic view - the reasoning for human behaviour, those who shout and object the loudest about something are themselves trying to difuse and hide the fact that they themselves are complicit with the action and behaviour. This leads me to believe that this reporter is diaper dependent, and attempting to wishing to broadcast to the world that she is not.

I would not class the video as clickbait, but more of a desperate attempt to hide her own diaper dependence, which to her, due to lack of acceptance of herself, disgusts her. To me, it looks like a toddlers tantrum, something to be ignored and forgotten about. The advantage a toddler has over her is that the toddler has the capacity of learning.... where she does not.

The blonde chick in the video comes across as a real BITCH! And is clearly NOT a fan of ABDLs. I just want to slap her upside the head, but something tells me she still wouldn't understand, even after that. People like her make my blood boil, honestly!????????

She's not worth the waste of your time. By now she's screaming about TGs, or gays, or communists, or satanists, or whomever she thinks will improve her viewership.
