@rusty pins Well, she's clearly wearing a diaper underneath so I think it's a diaper cover, but the straps and lock make it suitable for S&M play too.

There is a second version that is even more restrictive involving suspenders and torso straps with a longer leg . Once  it is applied it can’t be tampered With or defeated, you are completely subject to the benevolence of the key holder and I think it does work in both rolls a good thick diaper retention cover as well as bondage device using some the standard hardware features like the D rings on either side you can completely control and immobilize a persons pelvis laying in bed or standing secured to a door . And because of the canvas used diaper leaks are easily rinsed off and don’t penetrate the fabric . They also make a a complete full body restraint and bondage set that can be as basic as 5 point or as intense as ankles spreader knees thighs pelvis arms biceps shoulders and head .

However, I prefer solo S&M in public, so I'd opt for the smaller diaper cover.

I would also agree! I would think the reason why you would want lockable things like this is because you want to be able to restrict access to being able to take them off, or to restrict access to your diaper so you cannot play with it. The picture of just the locking panties would be plenty daunting for someone, because if you put someone into these garments, they're not going to be taken off unless until whoever holds the key allows them to be removed.

The suspender straps and all of the tie down equipment would be appropriate for someone who you want to be connected to the bed so you cannot move. Sometimes, the best punishment garb is that which is least restrictive, without being overly obvious. In addition to the diaper, anything you place over it can be used as a restraint device if used properly. If you are for example working, and you like that type of setup, I wouldn't want to go so far as to put in all of the tie down straps and all of the suspenders and all of that stuff, because you would want to be able to easily today remove them if you are the one who is holding the keys. If someone else is holding the keys to the garment, and has to change the person who is wearing it, taking off all of that extra tackle would take a few extra moments and probably would not be advantageous. The simple fact of being locked into these garments, and then being denied the key would probably be enough punishment, because anyone who is wearing them can be wearing the diaper underneath, and whoever decides what to wear under the restraint device would be the one to decide what type of diaper or how many or for how long.

The appropriate way to use the full blown setup is if you are going to restraining someone too either a bed or a chair, making it impossible for them to be able to move, and in that case, then you could hide the straps and all of the tie down equipment by just covering them up with a cute blanket.

In a clean uncluttered sense - having all the locking restraining straps devices out of site of the wearer or at the minimum out of reach would be neat - 

That failing mittens or restraining gloves reducing the opportunities to meddle with the gear -

Helplessly secured making the Houdini act a real challenge !

Being restrained to a chair or rigid physical device one option another being unable to move about on one's feet reduced to crawling and in this modern

high tech day and age shocking devices controlling the range of movement (dog collars/fencing).

 

This all done in a SAFE environment of deployment - no harm done except to maybe dirty/wet a diaper !

Do Not be afraid of change - Change is a good thing especially dealing with diapers !

Maybe a little history is in order:  These pants were originally developed and produced to stop removing diapers & poo smearing which is what they are still used for today.  They are effective and not all that uncomfortable and can be employed where restraints will not work. Incidentally they act as a form of chastity enforcement which makes them popular in controlling impulsive behaviour. Being presented in them speaks to the wearers infantile behaviour.
