My thoughts on becoming incontinent

Recommended Posts

There is no half measure when it comes to losing control of your fundamental biological processes that have evolved over millions of years to be as perfect as possible. It is my personal believe that if you want to be incontinent what you really want is your choice taken from you. You desire to be forced to wear diapers. incontinent is your body failing to function properly.

You can train your self to work differently you can't train your self to stop working

I want to wear diapers I have wanted to wear them as long as I remember.

one of my first memory's is of me lying on a table with my dad standing over me wearing a world war 2 era gasmask and me ansking if it smelled bad

Everytime I was put in a pull-up or diaper in my childhood I would always automatically use it I would always get in trouble for it but if you put a diaper on I would use it with out hasitation.

I believe that i was potty trained with out pullups and so therefore my young mind never developed the habit of holding when wearing pullups or diapers

another of my first memorys around diapers involved me hatching a plan to secretly get diapers to wear from my sister's doll collection I remember thinking if my mom found out I would not succeed

because of this I believe I tryed many times to wear diapers as a child to the point we're people knew and they were kept under lock and key

Through out my life I was sent to therapists and psychiatrists any kind of specialist my guardians could think of I was constantly told that what I wanted was wrong and bad and dangerous and that I should move away from it immediately and that it was going to get me in trouble get my life in trouble it was going to cause me countless issues throughout my life.

Then came my teenage years and my discovery of the Internet and the abdl community which at the time was just beginning to take form on the fringes of the net

On one hand this was a great thing as it showed me that I wasn't alone and that millions of people all over the world shared my same desires.

Ok n the other I came to resent the people in my life that were trying to help me with my problems and started to treat all my doctor's and supports as the enemy.

There out my life iv hade one goal I wanted to be able to wear diapers once I obtained independance that's what I did and I have been wearing them my whole adult life

I personally DO believe it’s possible to become incontinent from unpotty training… because it happened to me.  Yes it’s potentially reversible and it’s not the same incontinence as someone who had an injury or complication of another condition.  But the fact is that I can’t reliably stay dry anymore.  Remember incontinence is a symptom / sign, and not a specific condition. Just like a fever is a symptom / sign.

As for causes for wanting to be incontinent … I’m skeptical that there is a specific psychological driver that causes a person to want to be incontinent.  Most toddlers in the history of toddlers and around the world don’t wear pull-ups and nearly all of them don’t have a desire to pee their diapers.  There may be some salient moments that define your life but I think it’s more complicated than that.

If you are incontinent because you want to be, or because of some sort of condition that makes using the potty hard to do, or limiting, than you are considered "functionally incontinent." To be incontinent this way, you don't necessarily have to have an injury - My incontinence is functional as one facet, but I am considered to be incontinent both ways: I have Cerebral Palsy, so this condition is not totally unexpected, but as I age, I don't want to have to be superman or the flash when I feel the need, because I could hurt myself doing this.

In my case, its safer and easier to just use the diaper, and change when necessary ;)

Absolutely!  Though for what it’s worth in addition to functional incontinence I’ve developed urge incontinence also.  I can have no sensation to go… then BAM! I feel an intense urge to go and I can’t hold it in.

Good times!

The sudden unstopable urge is indeed surprisingly good times. Stops you in your tracks and out it comes! Sheesh!
