I think the community hates me

I have begun to think that I’m a pariah in this community. It all started a long time ago when I had no job and wanted drawings done, but nobody was interested unless I had money. I went insane at that time and became infamous, and even lashed out at a user whom I was told was getting them out the wazoo (his subject always seemed to be his birthday). I closed up shop during that period, but came back later only to be hammered into oblivion by trolls and outsiders. Nobody came to support me.

 

Even though I have done artwork of my own, it’s no good. I could spend eight hours on a piece and barely attain any turnout. I cannot draw humans to save my life and hands are my mortal enemy. Even in my own style I get middling response.

 

I have a steady job now, but I still have problems finding people willing to even DO the pictures I want drawn. No, I won’t do pornography, but even then, people are horrified of depicting anything younger than 18 (in my case that would include much of the SONIC characters over the years); even if the character is a baby. Whenever there was an opening, I’d get crowded out by a million people. Despite figuratively swearing in blood to never do anything titillating, I struggled and even went as far as to do my own commissions… with little success. I was already bitter and grew even more so since my body wasn’t keeping up with what little demand I could garner. I can’t even advertise on DA or else I’d get a “you’ve got a diaper fetish… bruh” remark from an outsider.

 

Occasionally, someone will watch me (for some reason) and I would start to get hopeful that they could draw… only to find an empty account.

 

I’d wager that if I were to close down my accounts on DA and FA, there would be crickets. It seems as if I don’t warrant attention unless I screw up in some capacity in the grand scheme of things and that people like (cringe) [That site], Pamperchu, and Tim Legion are in greater standing than I am among *BDLs.

I'm sorry you feel left out of the community. But congrats on having a steady job! Steady income is always nice to have.  I'm a little bit confused- do you want to pay people to draw for you?  Or do you want people to pay you so you draw for them? Both?  If you want to pay someone to draw a picture, steady income is nice for that. Sometimes you have to get on a waiting list. I've comissioned a few drawings in the past, and I've had to wait a few months on a waiting list for an artist.  If you want people to pay you and you draw for them- that can be hard. Drawing is a skill like anything else- lots of practice can help you improve!  I'm not an artist so I can't give any more help than that, but good luck in your endeavors. ?

Both would be nice, since I started drawing again, but I don’t think I have any luck left.

Sound like my situation with the babyfur artists(cough* not abdl* cough). Well. I call my experience with the furry fandom as a mulligan because of the poor social quality they have. Overall it was ok at best. Would I want to do that again if I had a second chance, no. Not a fan of their toxic interactions.

I'm probly not helping you lift your spirits but I am showing that I have a relatable situation and sometimes experence beats knowing something.

Let them talk shit about DD and you. It dosnt help their cause. It don't benefit them other then minor social gratification. They don't live longer for doing crap to you or make their lives better. You need to realize that your needs are more important then theirs because they don't care about you or they wouldn't have done those things to you.
