Posting Videos: How??

Is there a way that I can actually post a Youtube video or a video from a site that will allow it to be shown IN the post, rather than to RED BOX because it is not a image file?  I don't know if you have to do a [youtube]LINK HERE[/youtube] or if there is another shortcode that I should use.  I know I had to add the shortcodes using a youtube video plugin, but I don't know if there is such a shortcode or a way to upload or link videos to a poat?

Just Curious......am I doing something wrong?

Usually I just copy/paste the youtube link and the software embeds it for me

Thanks, for some reason, felt REALLY stupid, because on my forum (MyBB) I didn't believe you could just copy and paste a Youtube video link:  I've always had to. use shortcodes and code blocks. The video below was copy pasted as you told me. (and it apparently works). Thank You sir!
