BabyCR
Has anyone written one? Or is it really "allowed" as far as the genre goes? If someone hasn't written one and it's okay, I'd like some form of "canon" concepts that most DD stories tend to have so I can write one myself. Link to comment
Cute_Kitten
There have been a few, though I don't recall all of them. One was about a guy travelling with some friends and they all got adopted and babied by the Amazons. The most recent one is "Omission" by herezulo. From what I've read/ remember, a good number of them contain sissification/ cross dressing. BabySophia's "Exchanged" starts out as a boy protagonist with a case of mixed identity- his Amazon adoptive parents think he's a girl, and he ends up getting a sex change. It's told from a 1st person POV and majority of it is after the sex change, so for all intents and purposes I suppose that would be considered a female protagonist. Link to comment
Wannatripbaby
I am by no means an aficionado on the good ol' DiDem, but its been my understanding that, while of course males exist, they are almost considered lesser citizens. Not legally, just culturally. Similarly to how women were viewed up until a hundred years ago. Or maybe that's just been the predominant theme of the particular stories I've read? In any case there is no rule against Male-centric DiDem stories and if you wanna write one write it however you like. :D Link to comment
WBDaddy
What are we meaning by "straight male" - the victim? The Amazon (antagonist?) Your question doesn't have a great deal of clarity to it. Link to comment

I’m in the middle of writing one about a straight male. I’ve read one other DD story, and I only know some of the conventions. I don’t especially care about the “rules” of the dimension other people have created. In some ways I’m directly contesting them. I’d sum up the conventions as: There are amazons and there are littles. The amazons have weirdly intense parental feelings toward the littles and treat them anywhere from a new born to a child. Sometimes they let them be adults to some extent. Other times they forcibly regress them in horrific ways (literal torture porn? is that an unfair way to describe it?) That’s pretty much it. WBDaddy
If you want to talk about strict canon, the only "rule" about the DD is that all fetish tropes are real there. Many of us have played around with concepts in that space, often very dark places, but the original concept was supposed to be humorous. Link to comment
Alex Bridges
I guess the bottom line is it's a dimension. There can be as much variety as you want there to be. Make up a new country, make up a new planet, invent a new species of being if you're so inclined. Do what you want with it. 1 Link to comment
WBDaddy
Exactly. Princess PottyPants didn't exactly write a Star Wars type of universe here, where she cast everything in concrete as to how the world works. It was always very simply, "This is a universe where all diaper story tropes are real" - what you do with it is completely up to you. Link to comment
lane2k
Looking to see if a story has ever been written about an ABDL going to the DD that WANTED to be adopted. Toying with a story idea of my own but would like to read other's work first if it has already been done Thanks, Lane Link to comment
Cute_Kitten
Done Adulting by Alex Bridges is superb. the male main character isn't an AB but he does want to go be adopted. 4 hours ago, lane2k said: Looking to see if a story has ever been written about an ABDL going to the DD that WANTED to be adopted. I liked the concept though! I've debated about something similar a couple of times. Link to comment
