DailyDi
You can't get the contract number from your insurance provider before the cards arrive? Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
Tyrantblade, how about getting just what you can afford from the pharmacy, or even borrowing the pills from the pharmacy. Link to comment
babyleanna75
Call your insurance provider and get your card number and information write it down and take it to your pharmacy. Make sure you provide name of insurance provider and phone number so the pharmacy can call the to verify information. Link to comment
Bettypooh
Call your doctor (receptionist actually) and explain things, Ask if the Doctor has samples they can give you to tide you over- they often will and if not, the receptionist can call other doctors and find one who does About half my occasionally-needed meds come to me this way. If they can't help you, ask if they can have the local Emergency Room dispense you some from the Hospital Pharmacy- most will for needed life-saving Meds. Link to comment
tyrantblade3500
Well idk about life saving, i think I can manage even If my medicine run out. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
TyrantBlade, it was worth posting here, so it is worth checking with the doctor's front desk and following their advice. Link to comment
tyrantblade3500
My mom said she will get the insurance numbers tomorrow, so hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult for a pharmacy to run them because today I felt pretty miserable but also good (on and off, manic sometimes, crashing others) Link to comment
Guest
You should be able to go to your insurer's website, log in, and print a card. Alternatively, you can call them and get the pertinent information over the phone. Link to comment
tyrantblade3500
Turns out I probably didn't need to wait, pharmacy already had the new information, was just a matter of using a lot of hsa money to cover the deductible on the medication. Link to comment
