I definatly remember getting Attends in the early 1980's that had the plastic inner lining!

I doubt I will ever forget the day in 1984 when I first spotted these on the shelves of the drug store in Sacramento. Until then I had used cloth for bedwetting along with either my Staydry Pants or the Montgomery Wards plastic pants. Those Attends were the greatest innovation and the fragrance was intoxicating. My clear recollection was also a white cloth like interior and I was horrified by the change to the very uncomfortable blue plastic interior change years later when I moved on to other alternatives. The Wings brand and the green Depends were my next go to diapers.

I remember those well. I was able to get in a trial program from Proctor and Gamble in I think 1977. My local pharmacy set me up with it. I received their diapers by the case for
