Walesiswet
So as normal this year i will be camping with the family for a couple of nights as we travel. As a general rule I cath in the day and diaper for night time. Normally by the time I'v woken I really need a poo and just make it to the loo. Last year I nearly didn't make it to the loo for poop as it's quite a walk to the toilet block on the campsite. This year, as bowel control worsens I just know I'm gonna have to use the diaper for its intended purpose. I know I will wake up in a soaked diaper all squigy between my legs and I know I'm gonna fill that bad boy with an almighty dump. Anybody else experience that feeling of impending poo doom? I'm not into messy diapers, it's happend to me 3 times now when I've had a little flare of ibs or something I've eaten had disagreed, the cleanup is horrible. I know my wife will laugh at my predicament, and she'll know when I'm doing it. Anybody else been 'caught short' whilst diapered? Red faced, trying your dam hardest to avoid the inevitable? Bettypooh
Yes, it's happened to me too I almost never have control prioblems back there but once in awhile I think I can wait and I can't. A bout of diahrrea late in the day at work caught me out, and the spare diaper (pull-up actually) followed suit PDQ after that. I had to chance going commando till I could get home and I barely made it It's happened here at home a few tuimes as well, with me thinking I could make it since the toilet is so close only to have it happen on standing or as I try to dash back into the house Pooping myself isn't my 'thing' but at least I'm diapered so it could be worse. Sometimes you have to look on the bright(er) side of the darkness and know that youi're really getting through it all OK even if it's not quite the way you wanted things to be Link to comment
Walesiswet
That's true bettypooh, it's good to look on the bright side in those situations. Though I do find myself pushing my luck a little in the morning, I enjoy a cup of tea and a cigarette and when that urge hits me I try to finish my cigarette before dashing for the loo, I know I'm playing poo roulette and at some point my smoking habbit is going to create a situation where the forces of evil will win and I'll crap myself! Does make me chuckle a little, it's all a bit wrong isn't it, poopy adult diapers, as we say......if you can't laugh you'd cry. Link to comment
Denube
Y'know, the only times I've crapped my pants have been times when I wasn't wearing a diaper. (once was before I even knew I was into ABDL ism, as I didn't get into the scene until after HS and it was in Middle School) Link to comment
Nat
I once got to experience what it's really like to have bowel IC when I was sick. I did not like it and I felt it was a waste of diapers if I had to keep crapping in them and running to the bathroom a lot every time I had to fart because I wasn't sure if poop would come out, was a pain in the butt. Also holding it was painful because I would get really bad gas. I even messed myself on the way back from Mexico and I ran out on the way so I was stuck in the same diaper on the flight back from Denver to Missoula. It was a good thing I had brought diapers along and had one on or else I would have had the mess on my dress and on my legs and that would have been more embarrassing than a messy diaper. I do not want to go through that again. It was like I had a never ending poop supply. Is that the reality for bowel IC people? Link to comment
Denube
I can't speak for bowel IC people, but what you're talking about sounds like a bad stomach virus. Link to comment
Walesiswet
Praise goes to the person who invented standing leak guards! One of my accidents was diarrhea in a TSM. That held up good, I will never forget the look on my wife's face as I stood at the door, poopy diaper loaded, "what are you doin here? "I shat my diaper!" She cracked up. For me it was horrific. That was the time I was desperate to make it home to the loo (I work close to home) but a mile down the road that inevitable feeling of 'this is real, I'm really gonna shit myself' hit me. Touch wood, I've only got to deal with UI on a daily basis. To add to spokane's post, that's the problem with both types of incontinence, it's just a forever flowing river of pee and poop really. Something our bodies continuly manufacture. Link to comment

Denube
That happened seven years ago. I think their water did it so beware of their drinking products when you order a drink. they may use ice cubes from tap water and put it in your drink. Their water is not filtered like ours is. My brother got sick too when he was down there and he also had diarrhea. Link to comment
Walesiswet
I can't imagine what it must be like waking up to a poopy diaper, I have a customer with chrones disease and she wakes up poopy sometimes. Must be horrible, piss is one thing but when you go to bed all clean and happy then wake up with a loaded diaper must be nasty. No doubt there are some who enjoy the odd sloppy moment, but every night, no thanks. Colostomy bags aren't much better, I also have customers with them and it's not unheard of for them to wake up rolling around in poo poo Link to comment
square_duck
This happens to me on occasion, the last time being one of the few times I wore to work I had finished my shift and was 'road testing' some brand of disposable, (probably a cheap one) and before I left felt I had something coming, so I held it for a bit (which was uncomfortable) but when I got outside, I just gave into the latest cramp and let go of a small load of "goo'. It wasn't huge, and I don't mind a messy diaper, but this kind of bothered me because I had to get in the car and drive home, since I didn't have a change with me, and basically had to sit in it until I got home. When I got there, I went into the bathroom to clean up....I kind of reeked also . When I did change, I was amazed that I had poop all the way up the back to the waistband , If I had gone more or waited and shifted around or something, it would have gotten all over my pants and shirt etc..never had THAT happen before (well, I imagine it did happen when I was little) So, I usually don't do things like that when not home or have a spare to change into. Had I needed to stay at work, it would have sucked, and stank But I have really never had any other issues with something like this happening, but as my body changes and such, I can imagine things getting much more messy down the road..I just have to be prepared with wipes and clean diapers (or use diaper liners....hmmmm) and be choosey when and where I do these things. But in the case of an 'emergency' or 'uncontrollable event' I don't see I would have much of a choice other then to fill my pants and deal wit it when I can. Thankfully these things hardly happen and I don't worry about it much though I do feel for those who do have to deal with it on occasion or it is a daily event.....UGH! Link to comment
Nat
... I forgot to mention another time where I was incontinent for like, 3 days. I don't know what kind of bug it was, but it was horrid. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had someone there to take care of the messes. I didn't wear diapers, so I ruined like two PJs and several pairs of underwear. Worse yet, it happened while I was asleep so I didn't notice I had messed myself until after I woke up. I was an unhappy man when that happened. x_x I messed in my sleep the first night we got back and I had on a Goodnite. I actually felt good about it because I was protected and I didn't even know I had done it until I pulled them down. It was great doing it in my sleep but I still hated what I was going through. nhdl
I sharted in the checkout line at Walmart once I was glad to have a diaper on. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Link to comment

Diaper_Lover_HI
I can so relate to this topic right now, even what Spokane Girl has talked about. I have had the "TROTS" diarrhea for the past 3 months. Diagnosed as Leptospirosis just recently. Believe it or not it has gotten better, if that makes any since. From the start anything I ate or drank came out after about 45 minutes... Needless to say glad I wear diapers. Link to comment
Nat
As someone who does poop her diaper daily, and nightly, I rarely wake up with poop in my diaper because I normally go a short time after I eat a meal, and it is normally pretty predictable. Every so often, something goes wacky and I might be a little constipated, and when that dam breaks, it aint fun. It is normally 'solid' enough, and we've got clean up down to a science. In my changing bag, I have a little spray bottle of febreeze. We use it if I poop in public, just to get me to the bathroom to be changed without giving away the show. It works on about 80% of the smell for 10-20 minutes. Also good diet choices, make the stink less. (Avoid red meat, overly spiced foods, as well as fried foods. Don't get me wrong, I love my French Fires, but I either eat a small serving, or prepare for a little extra smell in the poop after my next.) Link to comment
Darkfinn
As a general rule a healthy digestive system should want to eliminate shortly after every meal. Link to comment
TaliZorahFanGirl
Curious, how many times a day do you poop? Three? Link to comment

willnotwill
Perhaps I'm more risky when diapers, but I've had a few poo accidents diapered or not but several times when I hadn't intended to poo the diaper. Link to comment
Ashlz
I end up pooping my diapers daily. Usually a first one within the first hour I wake up, and then sometime after dinner. I have definitely had unexpected surprises. Thankfully these days I take activated charcoal with every meal. That cuts down on the smell a lot. Even if I have some diaper bulging catastrophe I can usually manage to get to a place where I can change and not have people sniffing the air behind me. Link to comment
Kayla_H
I pooped myself helping my aunt move today. I woke up with some bad stomach rumblings, so I put on a Bambino Teddy just to be safe. Lo and behold, I squat down (correct form for lifting ) to pick up my half of a dresser and that rumbling comes screaming back! The next thing I know I'm filling my diaper while trying to lift and carry a heavy dresser into the back of a U-Haul truck. The worst part is that I had to help finish moving AND driving the stupid truck in a stinky squishy diaper. 6 HOURS!!! OMG!!! I never wanted to take a shower so bad in my life! If it weren't for the Febreeze, I think I would have thrown up. I'm gonna have one h*** of a rash Link to comment
