ItchyTasty
I got a strange type of incontience, but only AFTER, I pee. No matter how much I wipe, I still get drips afterwards, normally only a very small amount, sometimes a bit more. I tried those Tena for men level 1 or 2 round the house, but they just slip around and come unstuck as I wear boxers. It makes me feel too wimpy to wear diapers around friends. I guess as the diapers turn me on ALOT and makes me feel wimpy/babyish when wearing diapers, pullups, pads... So maybe a resuable thin cloth pad in pant type thing wouldn't make me think of diapers and I'd be able to wear it in public. As only disposables turn me on, cloth does nothing for me. http://www.kyliekanga.co.uk/kylie_male_standard.html http://www.kyliekanga.co.uk/kylie_male_super.html ^^^ Something like that probably would be ideal for me, just looks like uncomfy y-fronts and I'm used to wearing boxers. LuvsGurl
From what I understand post-urinary dribble is fairly common among males and is not something to be concerned about. Perhaps you should just spend a little more time in the restroom doing your business instead of finishing up in a hurry. Link to comment

I refuse to stand up around other men in public toilets. As I got sexually harassed by some perverted old sicko at a motorway services public toilets once and it scared me off from that experience. Lucky I didn't get touched, but he said something extremely inapproprate and creepy. Not going into exact graphic detail... But you should get the idea. Also it can splash, take a hint from there, not going into graphic detail with that either, lol. Link to comment
bignappybo
The pads that you are wearing tena for men level 1 and 2, are not designed for use with boxers it tells you on the box, they are ment to be used with briefs, if you change the type of underwear that you use, you will find they work well for slight leaks. DailyDi
Post void drip, very annoying. After you pee, stand up and wait about 20 seconds, then sit down and try and go again. Then run your finger up the underside of your penis to clear the urethra. All male pads are designed for use in briefs. The Kylie briefs look good, but here are some other options: (for you, and folks with similar problems) Dignity offers a boxer short that has a floating panel to hold a male pad. Amazon shows them: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002ZUCESY/ecnadmedia-20 Otherwise I would suggest a washable training pant. If you drip only a little you could order 2 or 4 ply underwear from Tiger, for more protection Kleinert's makes a great brief with built in pad, or my favorite thicker trainers from NiceDiaper Tiger: http://www.tigerunderwearstore.com/TigerStoreChoice.html Kleinerts: http://www.hygienics.com/safedry-men.htm NiceDiaper: http://nicediaper.com/index.php?gOo=goods_search_list.dwt&gcat=3 (stick to the solid colors, the prints currently are cut different and don't fit as well.) Dougie
From what you describe it's not incontinence. As DD said, it is post-dribble. Incontinence in the inability to control bowel or bladder. That means you either dribble all the time, you void with no warning (like an flood with no warning or discharge with movements, coughing, sneezing, etc.), or can't make it to the toilet when you get the warning. I'm sure there may be a few more types that I have missed, but those are the basics. Dribbling after urination can be a prostate issue. If this is a sudden issue I would go get checked out by a doctor to make sure it isn't more serious. Link to comment
bignappybo
This would seem to be a very common thing with men, but wearing briefs and a small pad will help. Link to comment
Wetdl
Not to make a joke of something which has you worried... But I've always heard the jingle No matter how much you shake or dance, the last drop always ends up in you pants. 1 Link to comment

This Be sure that there's no medical problems ASAP Prostate cancer is nothing to delay treatment over In the meantime, you're going to have to do whatever it takes to keep your pants dry even if it means a change of underwear style to accommodate a pad As leaky as I have been all my life, lose undies have never been an option for me Bettypooh Link to comment

Dribble happens to lots of folks. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but it never hurts to be knowledgeable and prepared. Link to comment
Bettypooh
If I'm not mistaken, boys should get checked semiregularly after around 20 years old, just in case, no? .... For persons with prostates (All guys and some of the rest of us too ), getting checked around 50 and regularly thereafter is the usual recommendation, earlier if there might be a problem That said, they are now finding that the PSA test gives a 'false positive' about 40% of the time so don't place all your faith in it, but do get it anyway as 'false negatives' are uncommon, so getting that result means you're probably OK there Prostate cancer is the second most common form of cancer in men, and you won't enjoy diapers much from inside a casket- need I say more? dogpiss
If you are a stout gentleman or simply tall, upper body weight and muscle contractions conspire to squeeze a bit more out when you get up from the seated position (on the toilet). Link to comment
Bliss
I've also recently had this issue in a more pronounced way. I had prostatitis a couple months ago and took Cipro for a month for it. While that cleared up the infection and the urgent peeing spurts I had then, I am really unable to stop the dribble after peeing now. Of course, fatigue and caffeine make it worse. I also don't seem to be able to hold as much urine before getting a kind of anxiety to pee "just in case". I've started wearing "training pants" everyday since then. They do a great job absorbing it all. These are the pants I've been using: http://www.specialtyunderwearworld.com/ They're regular JC Penney briefs that have been reinforced. If I do find a sudden urge to pee far from a restroom, I can let a little bit into the brief (especially the ones with the plastic lining) to relieve the pressure and anxiety. Link to comment
