  1. How did the dry 24 seem, I have to reorder, returned from out of town to flooded apartment
  2. There are others, think some in your area, I'm from west of daytona but stuck in Tennessee for a few more weeks
  3. Thanks all, will continue to monitor thread
  4. Its that time, can anyone give me a comparison of the different suppliers onsies? My desire is for quality and durability, babyish is not a need. I think I would prefer one with the snaps as far forward as possible, rather than down in the crotch. Also I have read people preferring "ones that stretch", but don't know which ones do. TIA
  5. And don't forget the flipside, save the last diaper in the pack when changing brands.
  6. We had a very mild spring, it was last Wednesday, between 10:45 and 11:00am.
  7. I have heard many thoughts and reasons for the change to "cloth like". One overwhelming fact is with "cloth like" you will for many reasons need to buy a larger number of diapers. This above all will cause manufacturers to move in this direction. This could cost a company customers, unless their competition has also made the same decision. I for one have no use for a diaper which does not contain urine and odors, if that's all that manufacturers can offer, what's the advantage of "cloth like" over actual cloth.
  8. Not to Hijack the topic, but is anyone aware of any USPS option similar to HAL, I get many things (Non-DL) which are some hybrid of UPS/USPS and it always seems to take a full extra day one it hits the local PO. Thanks
  9. Don't rule out PUL from Johan's (SP?) Can't see your photo, but go look at what they have, maybe even plastics.
  10. I recognize your point and often do the same, it makes good use of thrift store finds. I also prefer plastic backed, so a depend over a cloth covered cheapie is a great way to go. As to comparing the ability or value of one way to the other, the circumstances you live in seem to lend themselves to make a pack purchase for a trip a better idea all around. If I understand your question, it was "do I know of store brands that seem better or worse". After many brands I have used, I find the all pretty much the same, doubled or singled, with the depends ahead a bit due to plastic backing, as well as a bit better capacity than most. I would say I won't grab any "wings" brand unless they are near free, they just don't seem to have any SAP.
  11. Do you get these in the States? (Buntewindel) If so how bad is the shipping? Thanks
  12. I only wear when things like this are not a problem. It depends on your workplace, but I don't really think the average workplace is that much of a step up from high school. It only takes one coworker to have fun at your expense, and you have a problem. Also do keep in mind any out of place activities could also be interpreted as some other improper activity, as in "He goes out to his van for 15 minutes every morning before lunch, I think he's (smoking, drinking, stealing). Only you know your workplace, but is it really a good thing to mix your "hobby" with work? Another possibility is to use the toilet enough to make your diaper last all day, or at least limit any changes to lunch time. I'm not trying to be a killjoy, just trying to keep things in perspective.
  13. A onesie is definably in order, for long periods of wear, it will help keep the diaper from sagging and clumping to the bottom.
  14. What other people think of you is none of your business. Love the signature!
  15. Watched some "superhero" movie she was in last night, HAVE to agree
