In addition to everything you just said, I get email notifications on this thread, and every 5 minutes I feel like I'm getting emails on my phone, and all it is is people bumping it. Not only does it get annoying, but as an author I hated the sort of demanding attitude I got when my story was being written. At times the writing process is stressful enough with every day life going on, let alone people screaming for "more". Just gotta be patient, folks. Link to comment

Thats what has happened with me and some of my stories, i think it happened once when i actually had a new post and forgot about it a bump reminded me but continual bumping would just annoy the piss out of me Link to comment
