Working on starting scheduled hosted chats. need imput as to when we should have them.

i'm just curious what a'hosted' chat would be? i mean does it mean only certain topics could be discuss or how does it work?

Hosted chats would be open chat topics but with mods guaranteed to be there.

good idea... its best for me over the weekends, probably in the afternoon, since in the States theres like 6-9 hours time difference then in Europe, so it would be good to somehow make it work for people everywhere... we will see though

if your thinking what i think your thinking on doing i can help out on the weekends and Tuesday and Thursdays since those are my early and late days for work and are you talking about a radio type deal were they have a chatroom going during the show to talk about the show

Ditto. I think chat sessions would be much more enjoyable with someone watching out for HNGs. Could even help come up with interesting topics!

i dont think he means having the chat broadcasted on any radio show.. i thought he just meant a dedicated time when moderators would be present..

i'm not sure i would want to go into a chatroom if i knew it was being broadcasted...

As do I. I think having the mods in the chatrooms during certain guaranteed times would probably increase the usage of the chat room. I think it would be a pretty cool option.

I voted for evenings as I am in the UK, so would be mornings or afternoons in the good old US of A

Maybe employ fairer hosts such as repaid1 and those who don't allow their friends to insult other members such as langtab is doing now.

I work third shift, so I'm available weekdays 8a.m. Eastern time zone (Gotta wait till the kids are off to school) till about noonish If you need any help. Let me know if we pick a day or whatever. I'll do what I can.

i didn't realize i never voted.. i put wed - sun late evenings, but i live on the pacific coast time zone of the usa, so like 7-11 pm my time, or 4-8 pm east coast time...

I'd love to be able to actually talk about abdl topics without the hng's pestering and role playing going on. Or someone going off about politics, or some dumb thing like that.

it gets old after a while. mods would be nice to have in those instances.
