CAPCON 2013 Registration is OPEN Hi Everyone! We're just about ready to open up registration in the next few week's for CAPCON 2013. Official Dates have been set for: Friday, April 19th 2013 through Sunday, April 21st 2013 Location will be at an Upscale Chicago Area Hotel, (Convenient to Chicago O'Hare Airport.) Okay I personally choose bambino over AB Universe everytime. Don't get me wrong I like both a lot but I know which one might leak and which one can hold more. Bambino hands down wins! I didn't see a thread about it here so I figured I'd start one. So the wait is finally over (not likely) for a sissy style diaper. ABU now has on their site a page where you can pre-order the product, its estimated release date however is only 3/11/2013 to 3/25/2013 so we still have quite a wait ahead of us and if its the same as the fabine well we REALLY have a long wait to go. Ok, aside from the release date I'm really hoping their pretty because all ABU has for previews is a poorly made graphic of their diaper design. They really need to take photos of the product asap (it can help sales too). So what are your thoughts on the new design ? I think its cute but I would have wished they would have went with the full diaper design like the cushies with cute pink designs all over. Anyone else with me? Okay well awhile back I was 25 lbs heavier and thought I was a medium in the baby pants onesies. I never washed the onesie, I just held it up to my body and I realized even if I shrank it in 1/2 it wouldn't be my size. I check the measurements after and realized seeing as the medium was a unisex not womens I would be a small. I never exchanged it, but I am sick of having it sit in my closet untouched. I will be posting other things it's time to part with but here is a photo of the medium butterfly onesie! Please let me know if you are interested. Hello guys. I am pondering the thought on buying Pampers Cruisers diapers from my neighborhood Walgreens. I would like to know the size of the waist you would need for each to fit snugly. I don't want to waste $$$ on diapers that won't fit me. I don't have diaper tapes (or whatever you call them...the things that extend the strap.) I will greatly appreciate any responses. Thank you!

I know this has been discussed a thousand times before, but which diaper has the best bang for the $. I have worn Secure X-Plus for a few years now; and they have performed very well for me, as I can wet multiple times and wear for 6 hrs or more before changing. The question is more about cost per diaper and performance (absorbancy) than cloth vs plastic. It doesn't matter to me if they are white, colored, or have printing on them. I really want a diaper that performs like the Secure X-Plus but cost ($1.64) the same or less per diaper. I have compared the Wellness diaper ($1.33) and it seems like a better buy, but does it hold up like the Secure X-Plus? I normally order a case at a time of the Secure X-Plus (XL SIZE) and is $79.06 / 48 = $1.64 ea. The Wellness diaper (XL SIZE) is $79.97 / 60 = $1.33 ea. So from the initial look, the price choice is simple. I made the mistake a year ago and bought a case of another diaper, that used to be listed with Secure Personal care line and has since been discontinued. It wasn't a good fit and the tapes or tabs ripped really easy. So I am looking for some suggustions from the community, that will help me choose a diaper that is in my price range per case (around $80) Any suggestion would be very helpful, thank you. 3R

One of my most favorite things about wearing a disposable diaper (other than using it of course) is having it checked by mommy. There are several ways to do this, but I think my favorite is the peek inside the leg cuffs. Does anyone else enjoy a diaper check as much as me? If so, which method do you prefer?

Ok. So I've been waiting a week to get a case of bambino diapers and I've been completely without any for weeks already. Well, I have pool league tonight (the only night of the week) and I just received my case of diapers today. I really want to just flake on my team and stay home diapered. In all actuality id rather wear to the bar, which I've done before, but not while leaning over a pool table. Has anyone ever skipped out on a planned event or something similar to fulfill their abdl lifestyle?

I'm scheduled to have a circumsicion next week. I was in for my pre-op clinic today to discuss my medical history and medications etc. I'm incontinent post incomplete spinal cord injury. I am ambulatory, but get fatigued easily. I'm also insulin dependent diabetic, which can wreak havoc on my bladder at times. I'm concerned about infections post surgery, wearing diapers 24/7, especially given the sensitivity of that area. i know i will be using polysporin for healing, but i also use critic-aid clear as a barrier cream to prevent diaper rashes. Has anyone reading this had a circumsicion as an adult? how was your recovery? were there any complications? If you are incontinent, were there complications as a result of this? I will be in the hospital overnight for observation after surgery. I asked the nurses about what to do regarding diapers. They suggested that although they have them there, that the abena L4's I use will be much better. Also, do you think it would be wrong to ask for help changing during recovery?? i may very will need it with the painkillers i'll be on. any advice or comments would be wonderfully appreciated. (Apologies for minor errors, I try to avoid them but I know they crop up occasionally. If it's something that majorly effects a sentence or is a fairly big deal, let me know. If I used 'their' instead of 'they're', don't bother. Also, I'm going to get all of my references out in one chapter, so see if you can find them all. There isn't much diaper content here in this part of the story, but I promise it shows up later. Now, to start off my book in the most elegant way possible:) Chapter 1: Touchdown. "Fuck!" One of the engineers, by the name of Dobson, screamed, as a hunk of superheated steel came crashing down, narrowly missing him. "Dammit, Walter, hold her steady!" he shouted into the intercom, to the pilot. There was a brief gap before he replied. "Walter's dead. This is Tosh," replied a voice, as a young face flickered onto the screen. "What the hell happened?" "A loose reactor cable came loose, and when he tried to get it back in he..." he trailed off. There wasn't much else to say, and even if there was he had trouble choking it out. The singed, lifeless body on the floor made its own message. "The forward thrusters burnt out on the entry, we can't land it!" was the shouted reply, as the enormous craft shuddered. The metal outer shell was white hot, begining to melt from the heat of re-entry. That wasn't supposed to happen, an air gap was supposed to build up and superheat instead, protecting the shell. All it took was a two degree miscalculation and a highly oxygenated air pocket, and the ship went from warm and cozy to crispy fried. "Not my fault, we can't do anything about it from back here." There was a loud crash, and another support beam collapsed. The ship shuddered again, as they spun out of control. "Well, what CAN we do?" He shouted, over the din of the fires starting all around him. Tosh shrugged, admitting defeat. "I don't know. We're out of options. "Fins?" Dobson suggested, and Tosh started trying to adjust the forward maneuvering fins. He had scoffed at them before; they weren't needed for in-space flight and were practically worthless with the forward thrusters installed. Now, they could potentially save lives. Except they couldn't, because the white-hot metal had fused to the ship, rendering them unusable. "Can you steer at all?" A head shake this time. "Slow our decent?" Again, head shake. "What about the escape pods?" "Even if we got to them in time, they aren't big enough to hold everyone on the... Wait, the escape pods have their own reserve engines, right?" Tosh asked. He wasn't prepared for any of this, but he still knew the engineering of the ship. "Yeah, so what?" "So can we use them to slow us down?" "That... That might just work. What's the ETA before crashdown?" he asked. "Three minutes. Big planets mean big atmosphere, this one is at least three times the size of eart..." he stopped himself, there were more important things to do. "Let's slow this thing down." ......................... "Fuck!" Sarah yelled as she grabbed a needle of adrenaline and painkillers, injecting it straight into the chest of the next injured to be dragged in. It certainly wasn't the best cure for their wound, (Three missing fingers and massive burns,) but she couldn't worry about that now. They needed people back to work then, no delays, if they wanted to survive the crash. The worst cases, missing limps, comatose, brain damaged, they got to stay. But if you could walk and talk without screaming, you were declared fit to get back to work. "How many more?" she asked her assistant, Don, grabbing a bandage gun and sealing a massive cut on someones stomach, so their intestines would stop spilling out of their gut. Poor guy, she thought, as he was lead into the room with the other criticals. Anyone with an injury that bad had no chance of surviving the crash, bandage or no. The best he could hope for was that the painkillers in the liquid bandage would work quickly, and he could spend his last few moments of life with some peace. But, in a matter of minutes the shock would kill them all, no matter how much medical attention they got. "We have a dozen lined up, and they keep coming in," her assistant, ever faithful and diligent, replied. The structural damage was causing massive failure everywhere, and massive failure on a personnel transport ship meant massive injuries. She reached for another needle, but the shelf was empty. "Where's all our supplies?" "We used it all, sir," Don replied. "We can't have, I had a hundred thousand CC's prepared." Sarah was growing frantic now. "And at a thousand CC's a dose, we ran out," he explained, somehow keeping his cool. "There are three crates in the storage room, and another in the escape bay," he added. "If we need more, I can go fetch some..." "No," Sarah said, cutting him off. "I'll get it. Track and Field, silver medal. I trust you, keep everything under control." She nodded at him, not taking the time for a handshake, and was out the door in a matter of seconds. ....................... Dobson and Tosh both arrived at the escape pod simultaneously, hurrying to their respective locations with just a short nod. "How long before we can launch?" Tosh asked, from the helm. "Any time, but if we want enough power to divert the ship I'll have to take some time to divert power to the engines." "Do it, we're running out of time." "Do you have a plan to slow us down?" "Ramming count?" "Fantastic." ....................... "Sir, what are we going to do?" David asked his captain. "Sir?" The captain, James Harrison, simply stared blankly at the screens. "Sir!" "We're all going to die..." "SIR!" David yelled, trying to get the captain to snap out of it. When it became clear he couldn't, a new tactic was approached. "On behalf of the United Federation of the Human Race, I hereby relinquish you of command. Helmsman, take the deck," he said, ordering the third in command to take charge. "Where are you going?" Asked the Helmsman, seeing David stand up. "Getting the captain to safety. In charge or no, it's my duty to see that he survives." Making the captain get to his feet, David supported him and forced him to walk, the blank stare on James' face un-nerving everyone in a ten foot radius. They made it through the ship, equipment breaking all around them, to get to safety. ..................... Thirty seconds later, the OSC Griffin crashed into hard, unforgiving rock. On the ship, there were no survivors.

Before I tell you what happened I need to explain some stuff before hand. Last month I saw the buy one get one half Off on Abu sdk's and even though they where on pre order I decided to order half a case worth. Since I live at home (I'm 19) fed ex will allow you to ship to office max and they will hold it for you. Now I recieved an email on Tuesday stating that they were sent and would be there on Friday. There is was a problem however though in that I would be gone until late Saturday because I was going up to my older sisters wedding. So I called and they said it would be no problem for them to hold it till Sunday when I could pick them up. Now fast forward to this morning... I walk into office max and go to the fed ex counter to pick up my package and told the cashier that I had a fed ex package that was in that I needed to pick up. She couldn't find it anywhere and asked what the contents where and I just told her the weight of the Package and then she got on the phone and talked for a minute and then giggled. Now both the asking of what the contents were and her giggle should have sent up red flags but I was to busy planning out what the rest of my errands. She walked to the front of the store pulled up a package and to my horror the package had been opened! She looked up at me in and I have never seen anyone holding back a smile/laugh as hard as she replaced the papers In the box including a full page ab girl dressed in their ab shirt offering a 10% Off on there "baby clothing" She looked at me and said " are these your diapers?" at this point every part of my body was sceaming to run and I quickly decided that the game was up so the best thing to do was admit they were mine and quickly get out of the store. All I could croak out was "yep" as I started cursing myself for buying ab printed diapers atleast if they were plain I could have said they were grandparents But the baby bears where clearly showing. She handed me my package and my ID and I did not stop to ask why they were opened nor did she stop to ask me identity questions (normaly they pull up there computers and confirm that I'm the person who ordered them) All I could do was grab diapers and my ID and walked (not run) out of the store with my dignity in ashes. What mortified me the most was that they had been sitting there for 2 days probably opened while everyone laughed and wondered what freak would order this. I'm sure I've become the laughing stalk of OfficeMax and the story of the month if not of the year. What angers me the most was that they were opened. Isn't it illegal to open someone's mail?! I feel like calling and complaining to fed ex but I'd rather not have to explain the them why I'm buying diapers with baby printing...

I am done with college & moving back in with my parents. I have a bunch of diapers and no room or space to hide them. They are as good as new, out of original packaging, stored in cardboard boxes ready for shipping. I don't know how many other writers and authors out there would be interested but I'd like to recruit some editors and proofreaders to help clean up and make my stories more presentable, easier to read and generally a better product. I'm sure other writers and authors would appreciate the same. Feel free to chime in if you like. In return for your editing and proofreading, you would be the first to read a new story and possibly help shape the direction and flow of the story. Also, I'd be willing to proofread and perform minor edits within my field of interest, primarily DL and SciFi topics. I would propose that writers and editors agree on a format, such as .rtf, .txt or .doc or other common formats that are mutually agreeable. Chime in!

I'm not talking about big, heavy work diapers like work boots. What diaper do you wear to work and how do you manage it through the day? I'm not incontinent but some days I just feel the urge to spurt at work or if I know I'm going to spend a marathon session on the phone. I tend to wear a slimmer diaper, often cloth backed as it will not slide around as much as a plastic backed one. I wear Tenas when I have them and Walgreens/Sams when I don't, which are surprisingly absorbent for 1 to 2 wettings. I will occasionally wear a Tranquility ATN and plastic pants to muffle the crinkle. My routine is to change right before I walk out the door in the morning with a little powder. If I'm careful, I can make it all the way to lunch without too much wetting. Some days, if I drink too much before lunch, I'll be soaked and leave a bit early for lunch, where I change in a restaurant or mall bathroom. If the diaper has leaked and I'm wearing plastic pants, I soak it up with a paper towel and dust a little powder back in between the plastic pants and diaper. If it leaked and got on my outer clothes, I take the extra time to go home and change or at least dry it out and fabreeze it. No messies for me and I've never changed at work as the stalls are not private enough to suit my paranoia. My go bag is an old backpack I've carried for years that I keep an iPad, cables, chargers and a notebook (a real paper one) with a few pens, pencils, etc. In the middle pocket it has travel sizes of wipes, powder and two extra diapers. From there I'm always good until I get home and can often go past supper before I need another change if I'm in a mood to stay diapered. What's your routine, incontinent or not?

So I'm going to try losing some weight before the winter months set in. I'm doing this for two main reasons, one is to get into clothes that no longer fit (some of my favorite shirts I might add) and admittedly be at a more healthier weight, and the second is so that I can comfortably put on my diapers without feeling ... um... like it's some major chore that requires a lot of effort. There was a time in my life where I was able to put on a diaper in less than 5 minutes, and now I'm lucky if I can get into one within 20 minutes. FIrst off, I'm an adult picky eater. What this means is that I cannot (even if it meant my life depended on it) change my dietary intake. No matter what, this is NOT going to change. I can't eat fruits nor veggies (I won't explain why, because that's just irrelevant here). Second, I'm looking for alternative solutions, i.e. workouts, possibly alternative things like protein shakes or meal supplements that might help aid in the weight loss quest. Lastly, I want to be able to fit comfortably in a Medium Molicare super brief instead of the L/XL Depends that I've been using over the last 7-9 years (ever since the "American Fare" brand of K-mart stopped selling their "Large" adult diapers/briefs). I'd post a picture, but I'm a little shy about posting my face, especially for privacy reasons. I know this largely has nothing to do with diapers, but when it's hard to put one on let alone masturbate in one (Yes, I admit to masturbating, and I don't care), it's time for a change (pun is intended). Ideally, I'd like to lose 30 pounds, but realistically, I'll settle for 15 and work my way down from there. So any tips or suggestions other than dietary restrictions would be wonderful. Thanks!

Preamble This story takes place in the 'New Beginnings' world of "Rehabilitating Cathy." However, it involves a different aspect of the world and introduces a new technology. Readers contrasting this story with "Rehabilitating Cathy" will find it significantly less 'hard core' though not without strong sexual elements and scenarios. Stylistically this story is an experiment. Rather than have the entire plot entirely framed out and mostly written as I start, I plan to construct this story as a number of self-contained vignettes. These vignettes will, largely, involve the same characters in various combinations. After I have done presenting all of the bits and pieces you will be able to assemble a sequential story out of them, but they will be presented out of sequence. I will endeavor to avoid deus ex machina by presenting key facts before scenarios that depend on them. But it may require some rereading, analysis, and reflection to figure out just what is going on and how all of the machinery operates.
