  1. I usually wear two pairs of plastic pants and wouldn't dream of wearing a diaper without them. For me, being diapered is about feeling secure and I like a diaper that's tight and leakproof (as far as it can be). I'd feel very insecure and anxious without plastic/rubber pants and often wear the knee length plastic bloomer type pants. These don't prevent diaper leaks but if it does leak you'll feel it running down your leg rather than having wet patches on your clothes.
  2. I wanted to be incontinent but didn't have the patience or commitment when younger to really stick with it. However, that gradually changed and I've been incontinent now for several years. There have been moments when I've regretted that, but they're only moments, fleeting and inconsequential. I feel very balanced and centred and content. It was the right decision for me - although I don't see it so much as a decision and more as a development.
  3. It's an interesting topic and one that started to fascinate me about 10 years ago when I began to dislike having erections and preferred to remain soft, small and impotent. To achieve that, a chastity cage worked very well for me. Erections became painful to experience - at first it felt like my cock was on fire and was going to pull my balls off, but you have to get through that. Erections started becoming weaker and less frequent and nowadays I have perhaps one or two erections a month and use a microcage which is very comfortable for me.
  4. get a chastity cage. there are plenty out there that will make an unwanted erection feel painful. After a while, particularly if it's what you want anyway, you'll find you rarely achieve a good erection.
  5. So objective harm could be done to a person due to what they're wearing so they shouldn't wear it? Women shouldn't wear short skirts in case they get raped? Men shouldn't wear traditional female clothing because the might get beaten up? Men shouldn't hold hands in public in case someone get offended and hits them. It's just victim blaming. None of these victims have harmed anyone else by what they're wearing. The public uptights have been offended by women campaigning for the right to vote and by ethic minorities demanding equality. The people who want to maintain the status quo are those who do well under it. For the disadvantaged and oppressed, victimised and marginalised, passively challenging the status quo as people may do with their appearance, is sometimes the only way to effect social change.
  6. How can displaying underwear be co-opting a public space? I'm not particularly keen to see the underwear of others or display my own but if others want to sag their jeans, what possible rational difference can it make to me and my life? Fulfilling the predictions of the uptights is hardly an embarrassment. They are the ones who ought to feel embarrassed about prejudiced attempts to limit the freedom of others to dress as they wish. It's absurd that in this day and age, making assumptions about people based on what they look like is still be being used as a way to limit their freedom. Someone wearing a diaper isn't a sex offender, someone in a gimp suit isn't a sex offender. They're not doing anything to anyone and forcing them to hide away isn't combating that sort of prejudice. It wasn't that long ago that being gay was seen as a massive problem and socially corrupting. Now we know it's quite possible to be gay, lead a country, be a nurse, be a parent, be your neighbour and friend. Why should it be any different for fetishists?
  7. A good therapist can certainly help if you have issues of guilt/confusion about your needs.
  8. What a person wears isn't imposing anything on others at all. This is just an extension of Victorian prudery and religions that force people to cover themselves up, prevented 'decent' women from wearing trousers and punks from piercing their ears with safety pins. If I see someone wearing a diaper or wandering about in a rubber bondage suit, what difference does that make to me? None. Hopefully at some point, thought sadly not in my life time I think, we'll live in a world where people will be able to wear exactly what they want without fear of being judged or assaulted.
  9. It was a small business with dodgy dealings, and I needed the money. So no HR, no real internal process or governance so really quite difficult to deal with that sort of situation. In summary, my boss found out I was incontinent, thought I might piss all over one of his office chairs, so replaced it with a hard plastic one. When I complained, I got the old one back and the seat had a plastic cover taped over it. I had to put up with alot of 'banter' and pranks and in a way, was sort of complicit in that, by laughing along with it. However, my current situation is different and I don't see that sort of thing happening again fortunately.
  10. Thanks for taking time time to write such a detailed response Rusty Pins. Some people who know me know that I'm diapered. After an initial surge of interest on finding this out, it's not an ongoing conversation. I had a pretty bad experience at work in a previous job when my boss found out I was incontinent and want to avoid that happening again of course, but at that time I was using disposables anyway so I guess that, even if you're trying to keep it hidden, some people will try and make something of it if they find out. Having been through that experience I'm rather more resilient now so coworkers knowing wouldn't be such a big deal as it was. You raise significant issues regarding the practicalities and I think that may well prove to be the biggest stumbling block and the environmental impact of using cloth may, as you point out, not be as significant as I'd hope. I tend to use one diaper a day at work but use disposable pads which I change a couple of times a day and have spare diapers in case I need them. It's a good plan to try and work out how thick the cloth diaper would need to be to match the disposable although, in typing this, I think that perhaps the way forward is for a cloth diaper with cloth pads, but as you point out, that means more bulk. There's not an easy answer! Thanks again. Christian
  11. LOL. Maybe I need a new job! Yes, that's a concern. I man i chatted to the chat room who wears cloth most of the time said he dealt with this by using an additional pair of very large plastic pants that seemed to reduce the problem. Of course then you have extra bulk, though marginal, so I guess, as with all things, there's a positive and negative. Thanks for taking the time to reply oznl. That's useful info. Christian That's like me. Generally cloth and night, disposable in the day. But I sometimes wonder if, when you're incontinent, you're much more aware of the smell, in the same way your much more aware of the bulk, and nobody else actually notices.
  12. Do any of you wear cloth diapers to work? I'm increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of disposables and, although I sometimes wear a cloth diaper and waterproof pants to bed or just at the weekends, I wear disposables for work or going out somewhere for the evening. I've never really worn cloth to work - partly because of the practicalities and partly because of the much increased bulk and the increased risk of leaking. If you wear cloth diapers for work, how do you deal with these issues? Thanks Christian

  14. You're unlikely to be asked why, even by people who notice. If you are, you could reply, 'It's none of your business,' because it's not anyone's business but yours. But if you're too nice to be that blunt you could just say you have health issues which is an all encompassing vague phrase. If you want to wear 24/7, go for it. Don't be put off by what other people might think or ask because 99% of them won't think or ask anything.
  15. I have a constant dribble so never have a full bladder and wet without realizing all the time. It's like Babyboi91 says, forget about it. When I'm at work and concentrating on other stuff my diaper just fills up and I don't notice it happening.
  16. Yes. I did it. I used self hypnosis recordings and patience, and also commitment. It's a long term process with all the set backs and failures and difficulties which are an inevitable part of that journey. However, it is totally possible, though I suspect rather irreversible without a similar level of commitment. You have to work at it but it does get easier, but it doesn't happen overnight!
  17. I'd change the time I wasn't allowed to wear diapers. Sometimes as a boy I wore at night if I was feeling anxious or stressed because that made me wet myself. My parents would recognise the signs and put me in a diaper, and that was OK. One summer I stayed with my Uncle for 2 weeks and he said I was too old for diapers and if I wet the bed he'd give me a good hiding. Of course this just made my anxiety levels shoot up and inevitably I wet the bed. My uncle was true to his word, and for the next two weeks I got my behind tanned every morning (so you can imagine what it looked like after 2 weeks) and, more to the point, if didn't work!
  18. I found this really easy once I'd decided I wanted to do it and made a commitment to doing so. I used hypnosis files and also saw a hypnotherapist which I think helped alot, but also practical steps like making sure you protect your bed, ensuring you have plenty of fluids and have practised wetting lying down, on your side, front and back. It's important to be relaxed about it - if you try and force it, it probably won't happen. You just have to relax and eventually it will if it's what you really want. As others have said, it's important that it is what you really want, because you will find it more difficult to be in control of your continence afterwards and will find yourself wetting without even noticing it. This could impact on personal relationships and your employment.
  19. I've used Henleys, though not for a few years. I used to use them alot. I wore them with a pad and then wore regular underpants over the top. I didn't know they were still going. I'm going to get some.
  20. I've read quite a few posts here about people who are, like I did, making their way towards full incontinence, and I thought I'd share what worked for me about 10 years ago. Briefly, my desire to be incontinent was driving me insane and getting stronger - I was totally obsessed with it and was spending huge amounts of time thinking about it and browsing online at sites that dealt with it and the obsession was negatively affecting my whole life, making me feel very depressed and desperate. I tried some hypnosis recordings which didn't really work for me, but they gave me an understanding of hypnosis and NLP and I decided to put some time in to making my own. I felt that the generic recordings available to buy weren't personal enough to break through deeply ingrained psychological barriers. So I bought a book, did some research, and went to work. The main elements of success in self hypnosis are putting yourself into a relaxed deep trance and making sure that the commands you give yourself, both to get into that state, and then to modify your behaviour, are clear and desired. If you don't want to do something I can't see any amount of hypnosis having much of an effect, so be very clear about what you want to avoid any mental conflict. I made multi track recordings using online sound recording software. If you're not familiar with what this means, basically it means you can record different sounds and different volumes and then play them all back at the same time. It's not difficult to use and you soon get the hang of it. So I multi layered sounds and music that I found relaxing, nothing with words. For me this is rain and a ticking grandfather clock and waves rolling in on a windy beach with a piano played aimlessly in the distance. I added some sounds of my childhood (songs and TV themes) and from periods of my life when I was very happy and content. These were very low in the background so they were barely perceptible. I don't think it really mattes what it is but simply that it's sounds that you find relaxing, that will take you to a place mentally where you can be secure and open to linking letting go of continence with happiness and not anxiety. I used my own voice to record the hypnosis commands and prompts - when you first hear your own voice like this, it sounds odd and distracting so it that it won't work at all, but you'll soon get used to it and won't notice it anymore. Again, you have to think about what will work for you. How can you be drawn into a deep trance which leaves your mind open to implanted thoughts. The important thing with the commands is to make them clear, short and repetative and to have them going on constantly in the background as well as being prominent. You can reduce the volume so that they're barely perceptible, but you're still hearing them. It's really important to write yourself a proper script that you practise and read from at a steady pace so that you're not stumbling around the words. It doesn't need to be much as repetition is so important. Don't try and do too much at once. If you're an AB you probably want something much more complicated than a DL like me, but it's better to concentrate on one or two things rather than 20. You need to use your name alot with the commands so that it's very clear to your unconscious mind that they're for you, and to use language that has strong meaning and association for you. They need to be words that you feel comfortable with. For instance, I'm sure some people will be more responsive to words associated with obedience and others may need more encouragement or coaxing. Again, you need to find what works well for you. When I used the tape it was important to be wearing a nappy but equally important to be able to relax totally, so if diapers turn you on, you're probably better not wearing one and putting on something less sexually stimulating but that you don't mind getting wet. Your environment needs to be somewhere you find comfortable and not distracting, so turn your phone off! The point of doing this is to find a way of making it work for you so you'll probably have to experiment. I was amazed at how quickly it worked for me once i'd done a bit of tinkering and it's amazing what your mind can do if you can get deep inside it. I think that if you really want to be incontinent, it's probably not difficult at all if you can find the right state mentally. You are just helping yourself to do something that you wanted to do anyway, and to be the person you feel you are. My aim was to become incontinent, dependent on using incontinence equipment, and to deepen the sense of shame and embarassment I feel about it in specific circumstances. I also programmed in a trigger phrase (known to a couple of people I know and trust) and personal imagery which will, in ordinary circumstances, make me feel a desperate need to urinate, even though incontinence means I never usually feel like that. As with all things, there was a bit of a price to be paid and I became a bit less secure around my bowels. I'd never wanted to be incontinent in that area and it was a bit scary to find that the self hypnosis was having this effect. I tried to fix it on the recordings, but it didn't really work, so now I just take care of that end of things with enemas and I've been clean as a whistle ever since. Doing this is quite an investment of time but I'd reached the point where the investment was worth it for the sake of my mental health. Practical things to bear in mind: you'll have to be diapered 24/7, which isn't cheap you'll have to be diapered around your family and friends which may cause upset you may have to tell your employer you may find some activities more difficult (I like to play tennis), especially if they involve changing in front of others you'll always have to carry a bag with a spare in it while most people are sympathetic or don't care if they find out you're incontinent and wear diapers, you may encounter mockery and name calling and feel ashamed, so you have to be committed to this as well. If you have doubts if this is right for you, hypnosis probably won't work very well. It is worth persevering. I found quite difficult enter trance when I first started, but now it takes seconds and the effect has been completely positive.
  21. I like this idea. I'd buy one, though never try and design it (unless you wanted it to look like it was designed by a 4 year old - now there's a thought!)
  22. i'm notts based. happy to chat online or phone about this and meet if we decide we want to.
  23. My boss called me into his office and said, 'Is there anything you want to tell me?' At first, of course, I thought I'd done something wrong at work, but then he asked if I had any medical issues I needed to discuss. We dodged around the issue for a minute or two but then it became clear what he meant and I said I wore diapers and he said he's realised but just needed me to confirm it. That was it. Until the next day when I got into work and my normal office chair had been removed and replaced with a hard plastic chair. I went in and spoke with him. He said he didn't want to have to pay for another one if I 'pissed all over it'. I explained of course that it didn't work like that and he agreed, reluctantly, to give me my chair back. When it came back the seat had been covered with a black bin liner that had been taped on! Of course, the whole situation led to questions from colleagues who were sympathetic, but also thought my boss had a point. He also pointed out to me, in front of 2 other guys, that as I didn't need to use the toilet I didn't have any reason not to be at my desk unless it was my lunch break and perhaps it would boost efficiency if everyone wore diapers. which got a laugh from them. It was difficult for a few months as I couldn't get another job so just had to put up with it. Nobody was nasty or mean, but there were alot of jokes and banter about it.
