  1. I have worn underpants or panties inside cloth diapers for containing messes. Easier to clean up.
  2. I like multipurpose diapers, i.e. discreet enough for daytime wear and sufficiently absorbent for 6-8 hours without leaks and also reliable for night-time wetting. Tykables Lil Builders fit the bill but are apparently being discontinued. Total Dry Overnight works nicely, as does NorthShore Lite which now are available in pleasing colors.
  3. In addition to all the posted comments, I also think it depends on the "cotton/pulp vs. SAP ratio in the diaper. While SAP is very absorbent and expands when wet it does not distribute the wetness. The perfect diaper will have a good ratio between the cotton/pulp and SAP because the non-SAP absorbent material distributes the wetness better.
  4. I have messed my diapers in public on occasion. I support and agree the comments that we should be respectful of others and not subject them to either our fetish or disability (if at all possible). When I have messed in public I take the following precautions to not subject others to my "messy pleasure": 1) avoid close encounters such as elevators; 2) keep moving, don't stay in one place; 3) act normally; 4) I don't use Nullo but use a few drops of scented oils in my diaper. I have never had a suspicious look. In stores there are many ambient odors, and by following my suggestions; I believe soiling your diaper in public can be done discreetly and respectfully of the general public.
  5. Darn, they are being discontinued.
  6. I don't know what color I like the best; I like them all; but perhaps the purple. I wore the blue diapers today and just changed into a dry diaper. Very nice diaper; I like them because they are for me dual purpose; i.e. the diapers are discreet enough for daytime wear and reliable for night use with an absorbent booster pad of your choice and liking. I highly recommend them.
  7. 30 minutes ago, and since I am writing this now I am sitting in my soiled diaper, a medium size solid mess in my pink Dotty diapers. Lots of snow this a.m. and I will have get the snow blower out. I have yet to decide if I will leave the soiled diaper on or change before I go outside. This will depend on whether I get some irritation in the diaper area.
  8. I called Northshore Care today to inquire about the new color diapers and they have arrived. I promptly ordered 4 bags: 2 blue, 1 green and purple in Medium. I will review them when they arrive. Can't wait. Thank again to Adam for his sensitivity to DL's.
  9. I prefer plastic backed disposable diapers; I feel more confident and secure with them. Also, when wet, I find that the cloth backed diapers sag more.
  10. I put my diapers and plastic pants in the dresser with the rest of my clothes. I take plastic bags with me and put the wet and messy diapers in the plastic bags. I don't leave them in the room; when I leave I take the wet or soiled diaper with me and dispose of it in trash on the street. Usually right outside the hotel there is a trash/garbage can of some sort. Once I had diapers delivered to the hotel when I arrived without a problem. They were packed discreetly and no one was the wiser. That is actually a good way to travel, then you don't have to pack a lot of diapers.
  11. Agree, see a physician, left untreated, worse case scenario is sepsis, which can be fatal.
  12. I don't mind cleaning up; it is obviously the logical conclusion from the pleasure of your first release in your diaper, to the warmth, bulge, and mess that is experienced if you don't change right away. To be sensitive to my wife, I change and clean myself in our basement, and then use air freshener to make sure no odor is lingering. I always sit down in my soiled diaper as I am now. The cleaning is quite simple: 1. use the non-soiled portion of the diaper to wipe as much of the mess as you can; 2. Baby wipes; 3. wash cloth with soap and water and just a little bit of bleach on the wash cloth for extra cleaning and odor prevention. That should be sufficient; a baby doesn't have a bath after every soiled diaper.
  13. I have leaked from a saturated diaper more than a few times, but all have not been intentional; I just didn't know that my diaper was that wet. A few times it has happened at work, but fortunately never discovered. You all know the tell-tale wet spots on the back of your legs.
  14. I cannot say that I mess my diaper while sleeping, but wake up, remain in bed, and mess my diaper, then fall back to sleep for several more hours.
  15. Correction to my post. 3500ml capacity, not 2500ml.
  16. I just bought Tykables Little Builders Diapers because they were advertised as suitable for daytime wear and I wanted a good, reliable, print diaper that could be worn and used with confidence during the day while at work. I was not disappointed. They are advertised at 2500ml capacity and lasted for about 10 hours. They are discreet, yet absorbent. By the time I got home, the diaper was very wet and I did not have a leak, even after sitting in my car; no press out leaks. They are soft plastic backed with a hook and loop style of tape fastening. The tapes are wide and reliable, no malfunctions during the day. There was very good wicking of the wetness, so the distribution of wetness throughout the front and back of the diaper was excellent. They expanded of course as I wet throughout the day, but remained discreet. These will become my favorite diaper. I am sure that they can also be used for night time use, but have yet to test for this.
  17. Cloth baby diapers are great for inserts. I also just discovered microfiber wash cloths that are thin and very absorbent. They cane be found at auto supplies section at stores because they are often used to dry a car after washing.
  18. Not sitting down in a messy diaper seems like a waste of a perfectly good poopy diaper. I just got done working out in a poopy diaper, and obviously since I am word processing this I am sitting in my loaded diaper. Has been about one hour so far, perhaps another hour and then change and clean. I have a M.D. appointment in about 4 hours, so I need a thorough cleaning.
  19. I can wet very easily and naturally while walking. Messing while walking depends on the type of bm and urgency I experience. If it is a very solid mess, I have to do some pushing; while I can do this while walking, I am sure that any who might be observing would know what is happening. If the bm is normal or soft then I can walk and mess without a problem. Several months ago my wife was out of town and I wore a diaper to work. I held my bm all day with some discomfort, at times thinking I would not be able to hold it, necessitating a conventional trip to the bathroom. As I was walking out at the end of the day I exploded in my diaper walking to my car with other people walking out of work at the same time. I actually talked to some of them briefly as I was walking with a loaded diaper. No one suspected anything out of the ordinary. My only worry was the mess was huge, and I was worried that sitting down in my car would make it squish outside the legs of the diaper. Fortunately it did not, my drive home was enjoyable and uneventful, and once home cleaning up and changing was routine for me.
  20. Like several posts above, I also started around age 12. Think about that age...entering adolescence with your first sexual thoughts and desires emerging. At first I messed my underpants, and sometimes I would use my older sister's panties. I washed them very thoroughly and carefully, so I never was caught. I remember getting the courage to go to the store and bought what were called "sanitary panties" for women. They were panties with a waterproof crotch for use with sanitary pads. I then thought about baby's plastic pants, and bought the largest sizes I could find which fit perfectly. I wore these over my underpants, sometimes when family was home, never detected. I wet very carefully, essentially just enough to get damp. Then I soiled my pants when no one was home. I never tried disposable baby diapers back then, but wish I would have thought about that option. I am sure the larger sizes would have fit. I eventually discovered adult diapers, the abdl community, and never turned back. I have lived a fulfilling, no pun intended, great family, 2 successful adult children, and a successful career with a national reputation in my profession. I was able to navigate the balance of diapers for their intended use, and adult responsibilities, certainly not without guilt, but now acceptance. 9
  21. Does anyone remember the soft plastic pants made in Quebec (I think), under brand name of Beauty? I still have some from years ago. I have searched the web to see if they are still in business, but unsuccessful. Does anyone know otherwise?
  22. Ph.D., but won't disclose in what discipline, sorry. Could retire, but still having fun working, so why retire. Wore diapers 4 days to work this week, changed twice because I was afraid of leaking. No diapers on Friday because I gave a presentation at work.
  23. I also have a variety of diapers from different manufacturers in both plastic and cloth backed, although I prefer plastic backed disposable diapers. Currently about 5:30 am and I am in a wet Total Dry Overnight diaper, with no leaks, yeah!
  24. The feeling of messing my diaper is a wonderful combination of an emotional and physical sort of catharsis. The pleasure of relaxing and filling my diaper, the taboo/rebellion coupled with the naughtiness of a soiled diaper because as adults we are supposed to be toilet trained is ...well...just so pleasurable. One of my best messing moments is when I exercise (at home) or go out jogging in a poopy diaper.
  25. It has been about 6 months since put on cloth diapers at night. It is now 4:00 am and I am very soggy in my cloth diapers and Biggerdiapers diaper cover; and success, the bed is dry. Great feeling, I like the wetness and clamminess of the cloth diapers, after I change I may wear cloth for the rest of the day, haven't decided yet.
