if your living at home but over 18 i suggest getting a foot locker with a pad lock, thats what i got and when anyone asked about it I just told them its where i keep all my important documents like taxes etc so i like it locked up. Got exposed once when someone found a bag of used diapers in the trash and confronted me about it, I blame my ol war injury said I sometimes have night time urinary problems when the weakened muscles relax (insert bs story here)

It can only really go to ways, you tell your parents they think your sick and need help. Or you tell your parents and they think why the fuck is my kid telling me something I never wanted to know. Stop and think, would you want your mom to tell you about how she blew your father on her knees in a dark ally because they enjoy the risk? If you need someone to talk to, talk to a therapist, if you want acceptance, find friend into the scene, it can also help to not feel alone. I would say my job is I guess stressful. It may come off as judgmental cruel and callous, however how a group is viewed within a giving society is based on the objective view of many individuals. If we step back for one second and put the man in a thong instead of a diaper, how quickly does our own Ab/DL subculture objective view change. It comes off as those defending the poorly kept individual are doing so because he may be into this life and misunderstood or socially apnic. If he was just a slovenly male, alone, milling about a pack of families and children the majority if not all would recognize this for what it is, someone who is out of place and needs to be removed from the situation. For the type of socially sanctioned gathering he is not socially acceptable to fit in. Now before people jump down my throat about individuality and people need to accept people for who they are, the fact of the matter is humans do not work that way. We form groups, the unkept man did not fit into that group, and just because he had a diaper do not defend him and lump him into ours. That way of thinking is just as destructive to our own image of ourselves as it is to the rest of society's groups view of us. As far as the overweight thing is concerned. People are overweight and few people can do nothing about it. Obesity is a rampant disease right now and lack of education on health, proper diet, lack of physical activity are helping the infection spread. There is a lot a person can do to control there weight. Add poor hygiene on to obese and yes, that is largely not acceptable to be in society so unkempt.

Heh that would be better then some patients. Once had a 42 year old male patient 5150 who purposely deficated in his pants in the rig to piss us off, also urinated and kept spitting at us as well. basically he was combative so we sedated and restrained him, since he couldnt hit us he shat, pissed, and spit at us.

Yup, any information regarding indent is covered under hippa. So even if they do talk they will get iced horribly, no job, no license etc.

I agree with transgender, homosexual, and transexual individuals there will be discrimination. The original poster brought up diapers and diapers with prints which is most working in EMS are simply not going to care about, there is no animosity towards someone who wears diapers and someone wearing prints may draw a slight chuckle. Hatred for transgendes, homosexuals, and transexuals is wide spread from all walks of life. It does not matter if they are medics, doctors, fire, police, office workers, or the great pumpkin people will hate those groups until majority of public view changes. Until then people will get treatment refused, police brutality, fire departments will ignore you, and people will try and spread their hatred anyway they can. It is horrible and it can be helped if people took a stand to fight that kind of nonsense and bigotry. Dragging this quagmire of a conversation into this thread though seems misplaced and deserves a thread of it's own. The original poster was just concerned with diapers.

Here is the thing, you think diapers are strange especially printed ones. Diapers are common nobody cares about them. So you add print on to a diaper and what happens. Maybe a raised eyebrow at best but diapers are just not strange, they are not worth talking about. Nobody wants to talk about a guy who came in wearing a diaper with a dislocated knee, fractured tib/fib, or a high fever. The 5150 who stole a car drove it out onto an airport tarmac to save the world from Al-Quida is the story people will talk about. The strange calls that get ran or the strange people who walk into the ER so far eclipse a male in a printed diaper that no one freaking cares. If you were in full onesie, a pacifier, had a dom mommy with you, and talked like an infant? Yes that would garner some interest. The situation in what you describe though is pretty mundane. You care because your self-conscious of what you do, but wearing a diaper with prints on them in the grand scheme of things is small on the scale of weird that walks though an ER's doors. If you live out in rural america in a town of 1000 people your fear might be justified but any major populated area or trauma center, nobody cares.

I work as a medic and coming across a diaper in the field is pretty standard. In a major car accident we are just going to cut it off and cath you anyway due to fractured pelvis, internal bleeding or lumbar spine injury. I would rather have you urinate all over the rig then have you bleed out from a fractured pelvis. A printed diaper in the field is not that strange, will barely make a good story. Grown man masterbaitng to a shrine of his dead mother? Now thats a story that will garner some attention in the ER or from medics.

I love the dark, but im a stickler on sound. I need a fan on or some kinda noise machine or I can not sleep. Between the wife's snoring/talking in her sleep and the outside foot traffic (live in downtown urban area) keeps me up without some kind of white noise.

I would give up diapers in a heart beat. My passion has been diving, 10M mens platform, i compete in masters on the national level and having been diving since I was 9. I would give up just about everything to keep diving.

Your first mistake is not telling her within your first 5 months of your relationship, congratulations you just lied and hid something from her. So tell her, ease her into it. Start with something along the lines of "I have had something really important I have needed to tell you for awhile but have not felt comfortable sharing it until now/soon/this week. Then you be honest, do not back track or get off topic. Honestly she may think your a freak but she is going to be more pissed you hid this from her. Also remember its just something you do, its not fully who you are and you have gotten this far without her participation so there is no need for her to jump on the bandwagon right away or for you to force her into it. I wish you the best of luck I myself have done this several times and 90 percent of the time if I told the girl within 3 months of seeing her I get the best results (hid it once during a long term thing and it went really really poorly but we also had a poor relationship to begin with).
