diaper dimension Seems Too Good - Complete
babychrise replied to BabySofia's topic in Completed Stories
Thank you for such a great story. I'm sad that it's over, but glad that it has such a great ending, and the epilogue did a great job wrapping things up. I look forward to whatever you write next. -

Awww. This is a great ending. Not only does Holly have a work permit and gets to work with Ivy, but she has an open ended offer with the Hellcats. It's also huge for Ivy as she still gets a cute baby girl, and I would imagine that Holly won't mind a bit of babying after a long surgery. -

Nooo. Must have the next chapter now. Must know if Holly lives. Sad to find out what Bob did to his little, I didn't like him to start with, but that takes it to a whole other level. -

Wow, what a great chapter, not sure what I was expecting from the covert littles, but that's some serious action, and Holly get's to be a doctor! -

Nooo, it can't be ending in 4 more chapters noooo. Stamps feet and throws a hissy fit I think I'm going to end up in time out. Really enjoying this story, it's really well written and the characters are well developed. Seems like Ivy and Holly are starting to work things out. The Doctor Snider introduction is interesting, neat that he respects a little enough to have a deep conversation with one. -

I thought Exchanged was fantastic, and I'm really enjoying this story. Was soo excited when I saw you were working on a new story. It will be interesting to see if Holly is able to help Ivy out with more cases, can't wait to see what happens next. -
Anyone looking for cloth diapers?
babychrise replied to babychrise's topic in The Diaper Store - Shopping
I have two Medium and two large CTDC prefolds. One sea blue and one yellow medium diaper from dependco and one angelfluff shapely series for a 36" waist. I'll try and get some pictures posted -

I'm in the Seattle area. -
I have a bunch of cloth diapers from angel fluff, CTDC, as well as dependeco that I'm not using and wondered if anyone is interested in purchasing. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I think shipping was ~30 Euro ~$35 As far as saving as you buy more, it really depends on what you are buying. If you are buying bulky items such as diapers, you likely wont save anything on shipping, however, for small items like clothing the price didn't seem to change much when I added to my order given the low weight and the fact that everything fit in one small box.

I've purchased there before. Shipping is fairly expensive, but they have good quality clothing that you can't get anywhere else such as the suprima line.

New vendor in Canada. Diaper drawer?
babychrise replied to drynot's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
I have ordered from diaper drawer. Good prices and decently quick shipping. Likely a better priced experience for canadian buyers as shipping to the US is a bit steep. -
The chair is actually a hip chair, intended for post hip surgery recovery.

Anyone interested?

Need carpentry advice, framing a fireplace hearth
babychrise replied to feralfreak's topic in Scoop The Poop
I'll second the impact driver, best tool I've purchased, it makes framing with screws, which I prefer (no squeaks), much much easier. Make sure that if you go with screws, that they are rated for construction, I normally use either deck screws, or GRK. In your case you might be able to screw all the way through your new framing into the sub floor to hold it down instead of toe nailing. Don't skimp on the construction adhesive, it's pretty inexpensive and as wddleme said, you can always return the extra. I recently replaced the stringers for a set of stairs, and ended up using 5 tubes of adhesive to glue down the treads and risers. -
That's a pretty normal occurrence on this board. Items for sale are normally listed in the The Diaper Store - Shopping section.

Pictures. While not super babyish, the nice thing about this chair is minus the foot support and tray, it can pass as a normal-ish chair.

Looking for help acquiring a crib in Indiana
babychrise replied to babychrise's topic in Scoop The Poop
That's a very good point. The crib is in Metz. I'm in seattle. I have all the shipping details worked out just need someone to pick up. I know this is a longshot but I figured I'd see if anyone could help. -
I've found a medical crib on craigslist in Indiana that I'd love to make mine, but I can't get out there to pick it up from the seller. Anyone here live in Indiana and willing to help me acquire this crib?

Need carpentry advice, framing a fireplace hearth
babychrise replied to feralfreak's topic in Scoop The Poop
Mine was framed like a floor, 2x4s laid on the floor and toe nailed to it, then a rim joist to hold the ends. I would probably screw it together so that it doesn't squeak. -

When we moved into our house, and removed the old wood burning fireplaces, the hearth was tile over concrete backer board, plywood, and 2x4s, I think that would still meet code today. It wasn't overly heavy, and had withstood 30+ years of use.
