  1. I have been looking at these wondering about them. I want to try them but one thing is holding me back. I am just not so sure about the hook and loop tabs. I have tried several diapers with that style closure and none seem to hold. I like to have a secure fit and it seems those always unfasten or the tabs break off. Trying them would be great if I knew the tabs would hold. Being a hybrid plastic diaper and cloth tab closure system intrigues me. Having the ability to refasten several times is apealing. Would love to hear more feedback about them.
  2. One of my earliest memories is me being in a plastic backed diaper lying in bed. I would pinch off little pieces of of the diaper and feel the smoothness of the plastic. After being potty trained I never thought about it again until I was spending the night at my grandma’s house and found some plastic backed diapers left over from her taking care of a family member. Once I felt the plastic and the smelled the scent of that clean diaper I had to put it on immediately. It felt amazing! I didn’t wet it. I think I wore it all night long. I tried to go over there as much as I could without being too obvious. Not even sure what I did with the worn diapers! I didn’t really get a chance to wear diapers for a long time after that. I snuck one or two when I could in my bag after spending the night with people that had kids still in diapers. When I started driving was when I started buying diapers. There wasn’t anything around me to buy except for Depends. I went to another city to buy them so no one I knew could be there. After getting them back home I had to sneak them in after my parents went to bed. I thought they were so loud putting one on. But it felt so awesome putting one on and sleeping in it again. I wore them as much as I could without being caught. I continued to secretly wear them even after getting married. It wasn’t until we were expecting out first child that I told my wife I enjoy wearing diapers. She was confused about why but didn’t judge me. She doesn’t really understand or really like it but has been semi okay with me wearing them around here every now and then. I do still wear them without her knowing. Seeing as I can now order them through the internet I no longer wear Depends. After trying many diaper brands out there, Dry 24/7 and MegaMax diapers are my absolute favorites.
  3. When you are wearing a great diaper it’s not hard to wear it until it feels dry. I wear Dry 24/7 and the Northshore MegaMax diapers. I have worn these for over 12 hours with no leaks. They get really squishy and bulky but always feel dry against my skin. Not always the same with cheap ones. If I can I will always try to be in one for all day. Love how squishy they get and going out knowing it may be a little too bulky to be under clothes but doing it anyway. Either no one knows or no one cares.
  4. So many great choices out there! If you want cheap and accessible then go for either the Depend Maximum Protection with tabs or Attends Waistband style briefs. Those are thin and cheaper and you may be able to find those many places. If you want a great product that is thick and don’t mind ordering online then there are many great choices. My go to diaper choices to order are the Northshore Care MegaMax and the Dry Care Dry24/7. Both are nice and thick, white plastic backed and have sticky tape tabs. The Northshore Care website has a great selection of diapers from white plastic backed, to pull-ons and even printed babyish looking diapers. They even do samples and are ABDL friendly. Check them out.
  5. I fly with diapers on, also. Dry24/7 with booster. Never had an issue. Never had anyone ask. If someone does I will be happy to show them my thick diaper!
  6. I thought the Abena M4 was okay until I tried the DryCare Dry24/7. It was quite a bit better than the M4. Front and rear waistbands are good. Even though they have the double tape system I never have to re-tape them. They also hold a lot of liquid. The Northshore MegaMax is also a high end diaper. I would say it fits better and has truly refasten-able tapes. The landing zone makes it easy. A little expensive but well worth it.
  7. It all depends on if my wife is at home. She knows how I love to wear diapers but is not fully supportive of it. If she is out of town I can fall asleep pretty quickly. Then, waking up in that thick diaper is pretty awesome. She tries to support me wearing diapers but doesn’t understand why I like to wear them. I, myself, really don’t understand why I like to wear diapers, but I do. That being said, I have worn diapers around her to bed. In that situation I really don’t sleep all that well. I’m sure it is because I know she doesn’t fully approve of me wearing diapers. If she was more supportive then I probably could fall asleep faster with her there. I don’t blame her, though. Wearing a diaper when you don’t have is rather out of the ordinary.
  8. I agree that one day is not enough. I f I am going to be a female, might as well be one for a full month. Have to get the full gamut of hormones, emotions, highs and lows. Then it would be a small snippet of what being a female is really like. As with experiencing everything as a female, sex would be an interesting thing to experience. As a guy, almost everything works well for me. But my wife says that what may work once may not work again. Experiencing what does or doesn’t feel good would definitely help a lot. Of course, there would have to be a LOT of experimenting to find out what that is! I may not even leave the house for a month.
  9. About 13 years ago I started wearing something other than Depend Overnight when a local pharmacy had Attends Waistband diapers. They were so comfortable, secure and absorbent that I couldn’t believe there other diapers out there besides Depends. The Attends were my favorite for a while until they started changing them up so much. I tried others like the Molicare Super Plus and the Abena M4. The M4 was my first taste of a “thick” diaper. I just wasn’t a huge fan of the fit for me. Then one day I tried the Dry24/7. The fit was amazing and the comfort was great. The absorbency absolutely blew me away. Then I tried the Northshore MegaMax. It takes the Dry 24/7 and cranks it up to 11. The tape system is one of the great things about this diaper. I can un-stick and re-stick on the landing zone so many times. Northshore Max is now hands down favorite diaper.
  10. There are a few things I really enjoy doing in diapers. The first being going hiking. I usually go for hike in Dry 24/7 diapers. They hold so much more than the Attends Waistband diapers I also wear. I don’t have to take any extra Dry 24/7 diapers to change into. Wearing a thick diaper and booster I will pack up and drive to whatever spot I want to hike for the day. I usually take a lot of water for hydration so it means I do pee a lot, in which I don’t hold back since I am wearing some of the best diapers made. The last time I went, by the time I got back to my vehicle the diaper was very swollen and very obvious I had on a very wet diaper. I didn’t care. That much bulk between my legs felt great. The cool thing was that sitting in that squishy diaper on the way back it never leaked! One time I was wearing an Attends Waistband and when I got to the destination I had to change it. Changing my diaper on a rock in the middle of the woods knowing anyone could walk up and catch you was both scary and exhilarating. As soon as I was done and pulling up my pants a young couple came around the corner. I’m sure they saw me packing up that wet diaper. When I go fly fishing I almost always go out in a diaper under my waders. When you are on the fish it is very inconvenient to have to stop and pull down the waders and pee. Having a thick diaper on makes it so much easier to keep fishing. Being a DL I never poop in my diapers. Don’t think I could do that on purpose. However I do enjoy soaking to the max for convenience sake.
  11. I work at a retail environment with about six other people. The music is not loud, but that combined with the squeakiness of our floor and noise is mostly suppressed. While at work I typically don’t use my diaper. The diaper swelling and possible smell of pee is something I do not want to risk. Also, I usually wear thinner diapers to work so leaking could happen. I don’t think anyone knows, but every now and then when bending over or squatting down I hear it crinkle. While talking to a customer once I did have some tapes on an Attends Waistband diaper give way. It was very audible and a little embarrassing. Nobody has ever said anything, though. While wearing a diaper at work I usually wear looser fitting pants and along with a tucked in shirt and loose fitting button up over that. I wish I could wear something more comfortable and thicker like the Northshore MegaMax or Dry 24/7, but that is like coming in and announcing I wear diapers. I am a diaper lover so I don’t have to wear them, I just want to.
  12. The absorbency of the MegaMax is on par with the Dry 24/7. Where the MegaMax diapers are better is the comfort, first and foremost, and then the ease of using the tapes. They nailed the size and outline of the diaper. The tapes are so much better than the Dry24/7. The double tapes never really work as advertised. Once stuck, that is it. But the MegaMax tape zone and strong, wide tapes are easy to deal with. I can tighten or loosen the diaper as needed. Such a great, well thought out diaper.
  13. I just got some of the new MegaMax diapers from Northshore and wow am I amazed! Big fan of the Dry 24/7 so when I saw these I had to try them. I ordered size medium but they also sent a sample of size small along with a sample of the wipes. I was just going to try on the small for comparison then out on the medium. But it fit so well that I ended up wearing them all day. They got the shape of the diaper perfect. There was no cutting into my croch from the leg openings like many of the other diapers I wear. The MegaMax is maybe the most comfortable diaper I have worn. I would even buy small and medium depending on when I would wear them. Small for daytime and medium for nighttime. I do like how quiet the plastic is while wearing. For the most part I can wear them and not hear the plastic. The front landing zone can be a little loud, though. Not very discreet when putting them in or taking them off as the tapes when peeling off is loud. It really resonates in a small coffee shop bathroom when readjusting. But that is a small price to pay for the security of knowing the tapes will not let go when talking with someone in a quiet place. That is embarrassing. These tapes are strong! Unlike other reviews I have seen, my tapes have not ripped the landing zone upon adjustments or taking them off. My only complaint is the cost. They are more expensive than Dry 24/7’s and less in a package. If not for the higher cost I would buy a lot more of them. These could be my new favorite diaper. Sorry Dry24/7!
  14. Another thing I like about the Dry 24/7 is the way the moisture gets locked away in the SAP. Instead of becoming squishy it becomes a little more firm and holds its shape. Even sitting on them the absorbent material doesn’t move or squish to other parts of the diaper. This diaper still amazes me every time I put one on.
  15. I recently came across some vintage Depend diapers from 1996 at a local thrift store. I had to get them! They were $30 for a bag full. These are white now but the 1996 version was green. Putting them on brought back so many memories. These were the first adult diaper I ever put on in and it just brought me back to that first time! The elastic waistbands on these are robust! They really hug the waist very well without being constrictive. I still think the six tabs are the most comfortable tape configuration. Unfortunately being over 20 years old they don’t hold like they used to. I’m not sure what the absorption material was in this version of the diaper was but I don’t think it is the polymer they have now. Once full it is wonderfully squishy but it doesn’t hold much and starts leaking. It also easily presses out so don’t sit with a full diaper!
  16. I got some of these after the redesign. I never knew the first version of the Dry 24/7. I heard these were some good, thick diapers, which I was looking for. I had tried the Molicare and the Abena M4 along with a few others. The Abena was good but the fit was not great and the tapes weren’t my favorite. Enter the Dry 24/7. I was shocked at how great these felt from the first wrap around my waist. I love the way these come up high in the front and back and the elastic waistbands really make it feel secure. They do run a little big but that is a good thing. The tapes are wide. I do prefer the six tapes of the Attends Waistband but these are wide enough to still be secure and comfortable. Performace of these are incredible! I went for a long hike recently. I put it on with no booster and left. I drank lots of water and constantly wet my diaper. Five hours later and it was completely soaked and I was waddling out. Some people may have wondered why I was walking that way! Even after going to another location and wetting more then getting in the car and driving home fully soaked there was no leaks. That was seven hours after putting it on! I even wore that one around the house just for the fun of it before changing. Definitely my favorite diaper I have ever put on.
  17. I work with about 5 others at a local bicycle store. I am on my feet all day walking around. I have to wear clothes that cover my backside and an undershirt the is tucked in to cover the top of the diaper. No one knows so there is always a risk of them finding out. It is rather weird having to test ride a bike while wearing a diaper.

    My New Diapers

I just got in some Molicare Super Plus diapers. They are amazing!
  19. The front waistband doesn't really do much, I agree. Neither does the rear waistband, but I do rather like the feeling of not having extra material flapping around back there. Even without the extra tapes the diaper works extremely well. The third tape is mostly a comfort thing. Will I continue to wear this diaper without a third tape? Hell, yeah!
  20. Three tapes just feel so good. It eliminates the bunching in the middle where the tapes are missing. It also distributes the tension more evenly across the tapes helping to stay up better. With two on each side it feels like the diaper gets looser. It feels snug all the time with three. Instead of having to fashion a third tape out of the blue tapes if they add a third at the factory Dry 24/7's I think would be the best out there. But that's just me.
  21. I have been a long time user of the Attends Waistband diapers, but the new ones are very disappointing. Looking for something new I tried Molicare and Abena. I just got some of the Dry 24/7's eager to try them out. I am not disappointed! There is nothing bad I can say about these. I love that the diaper is plain white with no other markings. The plastic is strong and there is no need to worry about it tearing and I can refasten the tapes a few times if need be. They hold alot. I had one on starting at 6:30 this morning. I was nice to go hiking most of the day and didn't have to worry with pulling down the layers of clothing to pee with the cold weather. I brought an extra in case I needed to change out there (yes, in the woods). There was no need to. I had that diaper on for eleven hours with no leaks. I did a test to see just what they could hold. I put one on and grabbed a 32oz cup. I filled the cup full and started to pour it in slowly. First the front then the back. I put over 96oz in the diaper and it still didn't leak nor did the tapes tear or come loose. Speaking of the tapes, the blue refasten tapes don't need to be there. The plastic is strong enough to hold and not tear. I use those to rig a third tape on each side. A third tape on each side would take this from a superior diaper to the ultimate diaper. Highly recommend this diaper.
  22. I wear them all the time to work. I love to. The new Attends Waistband is a little louder than the older ones so I have to wear underwear that fits moer snug to hide the sound. For me it is only Attends or Depends for work. The Abena M4 and Dry 24/7's are waaay too thick to wear there. I do often wonder if they know what's up but no one has said anything.
  23. Trying to find sizing advice on the Molicare Super Plus. I bought some from
