  1. Where have you gone, Toddy? Taking a summer break? When will we see another podcast?

I know, that's a lot of questions, but it seemed like you disappeared.

I was wondering the same thing. I hope everything is ok.

Thanks! We'll be back soon enough. Thanks for taking the time to inquire :)

  2. If I haven't been online much in the past couple of weeks, it's only because I broke my leg in a freak accident 2 weeks ago. Will elaborate when I have time--right now I'm waiting for the

  3. Merry Christmas to all those here who celebrate it. Tell me, Christine, did you add any new dolls to your collection?

  4. My new Rearz cloth diapers came yesterday, and I wore one of the two to bed last night. They handled several wettings with minimal leakage. A more detailed review will come once I wash them a few times.

You are really supposed to wash them before you use them

  5. Question--I know using bleach on cloth diapers is not usually recommended, but would it be OK if it's a non-chlorine bleach? My diapers are beginning to look a bit...well,

Besides, it would do a lot to eliminate some of the lingering odors....

Go to fetware dot com & consult the "Product Care" section. They have extensive information for exactly these kinds of questions

  6. Well, after putting it off forever, I'll finally be getting two new twill diapers, courtesy of ebay.

  7. You know what's on my Christmas wish list? An online

No, I don't mean anything like a nursery, though that would be nice. I mean like a cloth diaper service, a service that will either supply you with freshly laundered diapers once or twice a week, or at the very least wash ones that you provide.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about--the "diaper cleaner" segment of this program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7hAyCZokJE. I wish there were an online list of places like that, that wash diapers for both adults and babies.

      Apache Raccoon

I can see how that might be a good service

  8. A happy 2015, everybody. If you're expecting me to dress up as the Baby New Year, think again....

  9. AAACK! A home-health aide who previously didn't know about my pacifiers caught me with one in my mouth this morning. X( Strangely, she didn't react at all. Maybe she knew more than I thought she did all this time.

Isn't this the same story you told a couple months ago?

      Same issue, different person....

      Rachel Emily

Unlike the first person I spoke of, I don't think this person made the leap to my being an AB, or indeed knows such people exist. Should she ask, I'll probably fall back on my "therapeutic reasons" excuse.

  10. Ah, a cup of coffee and a pacifier...the best of both worlds....

    1. DLdapper

      DLdapper

Do you have one of those fancy fill-able pacifiers so you can suck on it and get coffee at the same time? :D

    2. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

No, but now that you mention it, that wouldn't be a bad idea. =)

  11. Been sucking on my new Hello Kitty paci all afternoon and love it. It's no different, really, from my plain white one, but I guess it makes me feel cuter....=)

  12. Cuddling Rooney, my plush tiger, at the moment. He's my favorite--I hope the other plushies aren't jealous. =)

So true...but stuffed animals are too irresistibly soft not to love. =)

      Little BabyDoll Christine

The human shape and features of a doll's body, even it it is made of hard material, makes her pretty cuddly. Also, if you name them personally Like I do, the names give them a sense of being a perosn, which is also loveable. I have no trouble cuddling Andrea or Lisa. I love to look into their sparkly eyes as much as anything. In fact, if a doll wants me to pick her up, all I have to see is her eyes sparkle. And when I had real cats, they used to sleep with me at bedtime

  13. Feeling really yucky right now. I think it might be the bronchitis I get on an average of twice a year.

    1. Little BabyDoll Christine

      Little BabyDoll Christine

I am sorry to hear that. Get well soon

  14. Finally, I have a wheelchair with a decent incontinence cover. No longer do I have to worry about soaking the seat.

That's great, little stuff like that always gets me. I actually just got plastic pants a few months back to make leaks less likely. Where did you get it from?

    4. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

I got it through my local med-supply store. About time--I'd been requesting one for years.

  15. Glorious day today: summerlike weather, a trip to a diner, and a shopping excursion (you should see the skirt I bought!) Topped off, naturally with an evening at home sucking my pacifier. Who could ask for more?

    1. Little BabyDoll Christine

      Little BabyDoll Christine

      I could: No tiara?:)

Well, how can we see the skirt? or at least tell us about it: How long? What color? What kind of material? is it a full-circle

A picture will be forthcoming,I assure you. If I send it to you personally rather than posting it generally, it won't be picked up in image searches, will it?

And thanks, by the way, for re-sending your friend request. My intention was never to disappear, only to take a sabbatical of a couple of days.

    3. Little BabyDoll Christine

      Little BabyDoll Christine

What happened was when I was going to send you a message, I hit "Romove me as a Friend" by accident. so I had to re-add you

As long as you do not use a recognizable part of you, it will not matter if it gets picked up by an image search engines, You could post it to the forum and it would not matter. It would help if you could remove the EXIF file by using a photo editor like IrfanView to Rename and Save it

  16. Guess who just got a Care Bear? =)

  17. Had a really, REALLY bad day today. I'm practically squeezing the stuffing out of my teddy bear, Rusty....

  18. Had my doll with me all day today. She really needed a cuddle....=)

      I'm sure she appreciated it.

  19. Happy Holidays. one and all. May your days be merry and diapered....

  20. I decided to take up Christine's challenge and make some minor stylistic tweaks to my About Me page, with more extensive modifications to come.

    1. Little BabyDoll Christine

      Little BabyDoll Christine

Now all you need to do is start orgaizing it into subdivisions and adding images and links. For the images, you will need a place to store the images and link them with the img= tag. I can get you a copy of mine to show what it looks like as a txt

  21. I finally succumbed--I now have a My Little Pony figure, (Applejack, in case you were wondering).

  22. I got an early Easter present this morning--a little fuzzy pig hand puppet and the cutest, softest pink bunny....=) The Easter Bunny was truly generous this year.

  23. I hate dieting. I want chocolate. :pouts:

Eat good, dark chocolate. Very little sugar, good fats, and the compounds that tease the reward centers are extra concentrated. Probably the best way to indulge a needy sweet tooth without messing up your diet much.

Pop some stovetop popcorn, add a teaspoon of cocoa powder and give it a shake!

I don't diet. I just eat a little of everything so I get a full compliment of nutrients without overdoing anything or underdoing anything

Actuall I eat something each day from the five food groups: Pzza, chips, chocolate, beer and Rolaids

  24. I saw a little boy today, about three years old,, who still sucked a pacifier. I wanted to wink and say to him, "Hang onto it as long as you can, kid...."

      The struggle is real.

  25. I tried to get a baby bottle today, but just couldn't. I don't know why I'm still afraid, when several of my home health care aides know about my pacifiers. I pretty much hate myself right now.

I've occasionally entertained the idea of coming out to everyone as an AB, but I don't want history to repeat itself. I told my home-health agency about me in the nineties, which backfired. They were so creeped out they didn't want me as a client after that. Of course, I was also transitioning male to female at the time, which didn't help. The two together were a bit high on their "weird" scale.

    3. diaperwearntigger

      diaperwearntigger

Gotcha. Do they live with you 24/7? It really is no different from anyone else living with someone else who doesn't know and having to hide things. Granted I don't know your full situation, so its really hard to give any advice.

    4. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

No, they don't live with me--they're here only an hour a day. But since they do the dishes for me and various light housekeeping, they do open my cabinets and drawers quite a bit. Consequently, I don't have very many hiding places that they never look through.
