    I guess it would be weird if I had kids and they found all my weird crap. I'd like to have a little BDSM dungeon one day, that's another weird thing to find. I probably won't have kids though, and boyfriend (probably future hubby) knows, so whatevs, yo. If I'm elderly when I kick it, maybe I'll be in diapers anyway; and no one will even think it's weird to find a box of diapers in my house next to my corpse.

    yup. I've been stressed and kind of depressed lately, and I've been bingeing a bit. Well, relatively. Wearing for an hour or two, two days in a row feels like bingeing to me, lol.

    I usually don't wear often due to money scarcity and lack of privacy. I've been on a bit of a binge though lately, due to stress, I definitely tend to wear more when I'm feeling down.

    I'm pretty nervous about wearing anywhere outside of the house, but I'd like to try this some day while traveling. I'm usually the one who needs to find a gas station multiple time before boyfriend has to go at all.

    I love diapers, but I'm happy to not be dependent on them, I'm not the sort of DL who has incon fantasies. I find that enjoyable things loose their attraction when they become too common, or necessary. It's also nice to be able to wear a certain dress or pair of pants that might not conceal a diaper very well, and I'd hate it if I couldn't go swimming in a regular suit. Rashes, hot weather, being discovered, all these things I can choose not to deal with, and I'm glad I have that choice, because I'd rather not.

    I think you should start with a talk, and explain to her what an important part of your sex life diapers are. Don't pressure her, but have a frank discussion, tell her your desires and encourage her to be completely honest about her thoughts and how much she's comfortable with. If she's curious about learning more, having her join here may be a good idea, or you could link her to some articles or forum posts you think are informative.

    I agree with the above posters about not pushing it, and making sure you return the favor/attention. Now that you've opened up to her about your interest in diapers, has she confessed to any previously secret desires? This is a great opportunity for the two of you to get closer.

    I've thought about this, as I have always had a pretty heavy flow, and I usually manage to leak a bit at least once per period anyway. I'll probably try it out some time, if only for sleeping, as of right now I don't always have a lot of diapers around though.

    I found out recently that my parents started potty training me at 17 months, 5 months after my brother was born. Apparently it took me a long time to be comfortable with it, I was a cautious kid, and my brother mastered it before I did. That, and I was jealous of him and the attention he got, and apparently pretended to be a baby sometimes, presumably to get attention. I'll have to find out later how old I was by the time I was actually trained.

    Since I came out to my boyfriend as a DL, we've actually built a lockable wooden box for my small diaper stash as well as some sex/BDSM toys, we keep it in the closet. We live at his mom's when he's not in school, she's an awesome lady, but she comes into the room a lot and doesn't think much of opening drawers and stuff, so we wanted to be careful. Diapers, ball gags and butt plugs are all on my list of things I don't need parents to see

    It does seem like 3D printing is becoming more and more accessible though. Maybe we're not too far off from being able to make larger things like this without breaking the bank.

    I came out as a DL to my boyfriend this summer and he was very supportive, he's pretty open minded and has kinks of his own that I happily indulge. He diapered me once, and didn't seem to dislike it, but we haven't had time to get very creative like that in the bedroom lately, so it hasn't happened again. I'm hoping he will come to enjoy it more actively in the future, but I'm happy to keep diaper play with him as a rare occurrence if he's not excited by it.

    I agree that the diaper related child abuse stories that get posted there really make us look kind of creepy to any outsiders/curious significant others who happen to see them. I'm always hesitant to endorse censorship, but considering the fact that some people confuse ABDL fetishists with pedophiles anyway, having stuff like that on the site has the potential to bring public opinion of us down even lower. I think it's a good idea for the site to distance itself as much as possible from anything involving children.

    I don't remember being threatened with diapers, but my memory sucks, and I wouldn't put it past my dad to threaten something like that. I remember it happening to my brother though (I think my brothers might also be DLs, I never talked to them about it) when we were at daycare, he was threatened with sleeping in a diaper if he didn't lay down for his nap and he went with the diaper, I think he already liked them at that point.
