    Brian - Sorry to hear about the troubles. I was really hoping this one would finally be the magic fix. I second Dill's advice. Be sure to stock up on iron rich foods to keep your blood factory working at full capacity. Ray

    I've been following this thread for sometime and I'm very interested in the whole idea of a stent. These last two versions, the modified cath with the compression sleeves, or the medical grade tubing with silicon o-rings, are very tempting. They seem relatively easy to build and only have a very few materials. My big question now is how is one of these things installed? Do you push it in with a sound or crochet hook or what??

    Brian, I'm sorry that it appears the procedure didn't work. Are you still having the same pain as before? Are you still having to self-cath regularly? I hope these questions aren't getting too personal. Just ignore if they are. -Ray

    It sounds like you might be putting too much thought into it. I doubt your doctor will analyze the brand of diapers you wear. If you get questions from him, I'm sure he will be more focused on why your diaper gets wet rather than the kind of diaper you're wetting. Just relax, take a deep breath and let things happen as they will.
