Glad the experiment is going well.

I found I do a better job standing up. I don't get much of a chance to put on a diaper while lying down.
-
I was 25 or 26 when I first started wearing diapers. It was a cloth diaper. A couple of years later I tried my first disposable diaper and was hooked.

Non-Incons - Peeing while walking? Self-challenge

The chances of me being out in front are slim to none. Just to show off, ornithopters fly backwards as they pass me. -
Non-Incons - Peeing while walking? Self-challenge
ylowrvr replied to DL-Boy's topic in Diaper Lovers
I've been at this long enough where walking and pee is normal. A bicycle on the other hand......I have to stop peddling. -

I'm missing face-to-face contact with other ABs
ylowrvr replied to Stroller's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
I floated the idea of an outdoor meet up a couple months ago. The response was pretty negative. There are public parks and social distancing can be easily practiced. Even breaking up the group to 10 or less. Unfortunately, I have never attended a face to face get together but wouldn't mind doing it sometime. -
I really like Tykables and like the hook and loop tapes. The tapes make it easy to adjust as needed. However, the moved way up market and are pricey.

I agree with added some water to the mix. However, this is before knowing what you want to do and the thickness of your diaper (nappy). If it is fairy thin or a pull-up, and you don't want to leak, less fluid is better. The good thing is you can try it one way and see how it goes, then try it again a different way. In the end, have some fun with it. There is no one right way to do it. We all have our biases as to how someone else should enjoy wearing diapers. I have to throw another cliche in "You may not get the same results". Again, have fun and let us know how it (you?) went.

Diapers: Which Brand Are You Wearing Right Now?
ylowrvr replied to Pseudocrem's topic in Diaper Lovers
Rearz Rebel training pants with a clear Rearz clear plastic pants. -
Tank top, Tykables Overnight with an Abri-Let booster (folded).
-
I have several Tykables onesies including the "polo" shirt and a few long sleeve versions. Wearing a belt makes it a little more difficult for other people to figure out I'm wearing a onesie. Onesies Down Under makes thinner, more stretchy onesies. I also have no complaints about Rearz onesies.

Non-Incons - Peeing while walking? Self-challenge

@Little Christine and you don't fall down? lol It took me a while to be able to pee while walking. But now I can let it happen. Walking, peeing and chewing gum at the same time is a bridge too far for me. I'm working on peeing while pedaling a bicycle. -
Have this ever happened to you? Embarrassing
ylowrvr replied to Wolf's topic in Incontinence - Medical
It happened to me a couple of times at different gas stations. One time, I was wearing shorts and I'm assuming the guy on the other side of the pump heard the splashing on the ground. -
Did 79 Cloth Diapered Miles In The Last Three Bike Rides...
ylowrvr replied to DLRider's topic in Cloth Diapers & Panties
The last time I went out on my bicycle, I was wearing an overnight disposable diaper. I don't think many people noticed it. I like the idea of wearing a cloth diaper under the tight cycling shorts. -
Shopping For Diapers While Driving in Diapers....
ylowrvr replied to DLRider's topic in Diaper Lovers
I wear under my clothes quite a bit. As long as I don't go double diapered and have multiple stuffers, I can hide it under my clothes. Shopping while diapered is quite relaxing for me. Taking a long drive while diapered is quite fun too. -
@Dubious I have a few Tykables Snappies (onesies) and admittedly, those are my favorite. Rearz and Onesies Down Under are good too. However, Tykables does not seem to stretch as much.

how to wet while sat down or while driving
ylowrvr replied to dltrainer's topic in Incontinent-Desires
It does take practice doing it. Make sure your bladder is full and try to relax. It may help trying it just sitting in the car and not trying anything while the vehicle is moving. Waiting until you can't hold it helps. -
Having tried BetterDry, ComfyDry and Northshore Supreme, I found the ComfyDry worked pretty well as a night time diaper. In my experience, I was able to lay on my back and pee without fear of leaks. Unfortunately, I found the ComfyDry leaked while wearing as a daytime diaper. Since I don't often wear a diaper at night, I have not put the Supremes or the BetterDry to the test at night. For daytime use, the Supreme diaper tends to have a bulge on the backside and is a little more obvious a diaper is under one's clothes. BetterDry was a little more discrete the the Supremes. I've worn the ComfyDry diapers out when going to a bar. It may have been a little saggy but actaactually got out on the dance floor with my wife. I only think a friend of ours noticed since she tried to grab my ass a couple of times. As of now, I don't have any of the three to make a fresh comparison. But it would be fun to do it in the future.

Just placed an order for some Rearz training pants and some more plastic pants. After that maybe some Tykables.

I first tried them last year and liked the fit. I bought a few packages during that time. Not necessarily my go to diaper but one of my favorites.

Where does the word "dips" come from?
ylowrvr replied to Baby_Richie's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
Just one "Dip" on Twitter? lol -
As much as I enjoying wetting jeans. Latex leggings are on of my favorites. Makes it flow down the legs and doesn't leave an obvious sign of wetness. Unfortunately, people can follow the foot prints until the shoes dry.
