  1. Last Sunday I wore 3 abena x-pluses, 1 large abri-let, 2 small abri-lets, and 2 depends boosts, and went around to run some errands, including a trip to a very very crowded wal-mart. That was fun. It wasnt screamingly obvious, but would have been visible with anything more than a quick glance. I didnt get any comments, never overheard anyone say anything, and only saw one person for sure notice, while 2 maybe. Far less than I expected. And no I didnt waste 2 abenas for padding. They were defective and wouldnt have held anything more than a light wetting, so they just became padding. I'm sure there's got to be others whove gone out in something really thick. Anyone care to share?
  2. No, they do suck. I *always* have to reinforce them when I wear an abena.
  3. sep 07? thats weak anywho, i'm a symphonic metal person, some black metal is pretty good, but its just a now and then thing.
  4. You might want to become a little bit more well known here. People arent very resposive to strange people who just signed up asking to chat over msn. Especially to people who claim to be 88 years old and have a screen name of wtf12345.
  5. heh, ya, when I want thick, I usually use an X-Plus + large abri-let + 2 small abri-let + 2 depends boosts. You cant use 2 large abri-lets because it pulls the leg guards away from your legs so you end up leaking after 1 or 2 wettings.
  6. I've lived in Maine, california, indiana, arkansas, and colorado, so I've seen about all there is to see when it comes to race and society. Arkansas, by far, had the highest population of blacks among all the places I've lived. And yes, a half white/half black child would have a hard time there as they wouldnt fit in either group. But thats exactly the problem, that they are separate groups. In the other places except california, these groups didnt exist. Black people didnt socialize with only black people, and white people didnt socialize with only white people. It was still there so some degree, but nowhere near as much. So the best solution is just raise a kid somewhere where its not as much of an issue. Generally this means not a southern state. As far as your earlier statement about not liking other black people. I'm not sure where you live, but i'd wager that youre dislike is more that you dont like ignorant people. And for the love of god dont take that out of context. I have nothing wrong with black people, I have had some really good friends who were black, and have even dated someone who's black. But I spent the majority of my childhood in arkansas, and everyone just went with their own social group. And the black group didnt care to elevate themselfs. Some did, but not most. And that is the problem, everyone wants to go with the flow and is afraid to be different, to push themselfs or try, so they dont, and so the group doesnt change. If someone were to be a complete idiot, I'd hate them just as much if they were white or black. I sincerely hope that didnt offend anyone, as race is always a touchy subject.
  7. I was just leaving from work once, and I needed to change before going home (I was at our other office which is about an hour from where I live). I wasnt brave enough to do it in the bathroom at work, so I stopped at a restaurant about a block away to use their rest room. Well half way though changing (had the old one completely off, the new one in place but none of the tapes done yet) someone came in and went into the stall next to me. I quickly sat down on the edge of the seat trying not to make it obvious I was doing something other than using the toilet. But after a bit I realized the other person was going to be a while. So I just just got it over with, put on the diaper with all the loud crinkly noises and walked out...
  8. Ya, I like em, the tapes are better than most (not all) diapers I've tried. The only problem I have is sometimes the middle tape will come off, but thats why I love them, because there are 2 other tapes to hold it on so it never presents a problem of falling off. For the price and the good tapes, I'll always buy em.
  9. HUGE absorbency :-) I wear depends most of the time, and they are thin, but throwing one of those in makes it more than capable.
  10. Eric, here's where I say you need to step back, take a breath, and calm down. How is it wrong, especially morally? wetdiaperlover (henceforth referred to as WDL) never said anything about wanting anyone to change him, just if they do, there is nothing wrong with curiosity. Also, who said wearing a diaper had anything to do with sexuality? Some people wear for comfort, or because they are just used to it. AB/DL's always push that diapers are just another type of underwear, and if thats the case, they should be treated as such, you shouldnt have to put on a different type of underwear because youre seeing a doctor. And yes, brave would have something to do with it. Letting others see you in a diaper can be embarassing, whether they be professional about it or not. Doctors can still prod and ask questions, and if you dont have a legitimate medical reason for wearing, one might not feel comfortable about saying so. I have never been to a doctor while wearing, but thats mostly because its not a common occurance that I have to see one. However I've got a medical condition that requires me to wear and I'll be having surgery for in a few weeks, so I'll be able to speak on the subject before too long.
  11. I just thought I'd add a quick review on some of the booster's out there. The 2 I've used are Abena's abri-let, and Depends' boost. Both brands do a pretty good job, but Abena offers 2 sizes of their product, one is about the same size as Depends' boost, and the other is much bigger. The Depends boost is 11-inches long and has an adhesive back to it, but does allow liquid to pass through. The adhesive is really weak, but isnt really useful except when putting the diaper on, so doesnt need to be very strong. Its handy for those who put their diaper on by themself, and while standing up. The Abena abri-let, as mentioned above, comes in 2 sizes. The smaller is 13-inches long (size 'normal'), while the larger is 22-inches by 6-inches (size 'large'). The thickness of the smaller size is about the same as a Depends boost, while the larger size is just slightly thicker. Neither has an adhesive back like the boost. The large abri-let will fit into most diapers (has fit into all I've tried), even though 6-inches seems too wide. The smallest diaper I've put it in is a Depends maximum protection, and it fit fine. In the picture, it looks like its too long for the Depends diaper, but the Depends diaper is elastic and isnt stretched out. After stretching the booster is about 3-inches shorter. The Depends boost can be found at drugstores or the Wal-Mart without much difficulty. The abri-lets I've only seen online, and the cheapest place I've found to get is at http://www.kckmedical.com/ The first picture is of the 3 boosters side-by-side (Boost, abri-let normal, abri-let large). The second picture shows the abri-let large inside a Depends maximum protection. The last picture shows the abri-let large inside an Abena abri-form X-plus medium.
  12. CUTE!!! I soo want a dog, but I live in an apartment. I dont want to get one until I live in a house because I dont think its fair to keep a dog cooped up inside all the time.
  13. I'll fit into a medium of any brand. Though some brands medium is too big, but their small is barely too small, really sucks being right between small and a medium.
  14. I agree with the whole stupid justice thing with this guy not getting *nearly* anywhere enough time, but I really am curious. How do you *listen* to porn on an mp3 player??? Isnt porn a visual thing....
  15. I like the first female photo, with the corset, really good photo :-)
  16. welcome to the boards. Wanted to say hi cause you live in Raleigh, where I will end up some day, hopefully sooner rather than too later. Anywho, sit back, relax, and make yourself some friends :-)
  17. Always hearing people talking bad about depends, so figured I'd pipe up. I've tried a few different diapers, depends being the only cheap ones (Ive tried some of the really thick ones like abenas), and depends (maximum protection ones) is still my favorite. They fit better than any other diaper I've tried, just in overallness, but it might just be my figure which makes them fit better than other diapers. Most other diapers start getting really loose after just a few hours of wearing, importantly around the leg so leaks become much more likely, but depends fit nice and snug and stay that way. They do stretch a little at the top, but thats to be expected from sitting, standing, bending over, etc, but it doesnt cause any issues. Also the tapes are really good too. There's 3 of them, so it doesnt put as much strain on a single one, and is less likely to pull off. Yes they are thin, but I always throw an abri-let and often a depends boost as well which makes them plenty absorbent. I can put one on before heading to work, and I've never had it leak on me due to filling up before getting home. Another plus for me is the noise. Theyre not loud, but theyre not silent, and I like that. I dont worry about people hearing at work, because it can easily be mistaken for something being in my pocket if it even does get heard at all. anywho, thats my 0 cents on the topic.

    Hullo~

Welcome to the site. And yes, I'm sure you'll be the envy of half the members of this forum having someone to share your interest with, especially right from the very beginning. Hope you get some time to indulge yourself to where you dont have to worry about mom, just be careful, parents tend to be nosy :-) Anywho, enjoy your stay, and hope you find some good people to talk to.
  19. heya, i can answer some questions for you. (I'm a systems admin for an email provider) No email provider will block mail from going to you. The only problem is that many will block email from you. They'll see that your mail server is on a residential network, and not accept it. The way around this is to relay through your ISP's mail server, which most ISPs will let you do no problem. If you need any help or anything, feel free to ask.
  20. i think owning for defense is a valid reason. but its a catch 22. you need them to defend from other people who have them... if nobody had them there would be no need for them. defense doesnt necessarily have to mean killing too. if an attacker sees you have a gun as well, they might think twice, or you can shoot and not kill, just wound. I dunno, I have no interest in them, and where I live, crime isnt an issue, so doubt I'll need one anyway.
  21. new user with only a single post, linking to a rar file. this just screams virus to me...

    Newbie...

Welcome then Well, your husband doesnt have to be into it, but maybe he'll at least let you indulge your curiosity for a bit. Hope you enjoy the site and find what youre looking for. :-)
  23. This has yet to happen to me, but I figure it will eventually. My response would be a simple one, "I'd rather not talk about it". You dont have to lie or anything, and people will assume you have a good reason for it, whatever that reason may be. I'd like to think i'd be able to keep from looking embarrassed if confronted, but wont know until it happens, however I doubt it'd give anything away as someone who needed for medical reason could be just as embarrassed if caught as someone who doesnt need medically.
