How about these words/euphemisms for diaper: MAG (nasa -- Maximum Absorbency Garment) Padding Protection Incontinence Pants (as used by Futuro, circa 1975) Protective/absorbent underwear Waterproof pants And of course, brand names: Depends, Attends, Molicare, Abena M4s, Bambinos, etc! (But not Poise--that's garbage!)

By working on the definition of the word "fetish", I think we are ignoring its connotations. which involve others having fetishes but not ourselves.

To be honest, the problem is that it needs a solid sample size of people who are entirely and totally honest and willing to open up about stressors. I see that as difficult to obtain. Rosalie I don't think it's easy to find people who are honest with themselves about their stressors, even when they are generally open and honest. It's just too close to the self and the self-image, me included! Having said that, I think the question is more of whether stressors are positive or negative. Spark puts it well...he was focussed in a very positive way on his health, and it pushed the regression aside. Now, he is stressed in a less constructive way, and he needs to regress more. -
Rosalie Being "right" matters quite a bit to me...but, as an engineer supporting people in the field, the "right" I chase is the actual truth of a situation -- I can say "it sounds like X", or "Y would explain that", but I also invite people to prove me wrong. I don't think it is the abuse or depression that raises the standard of posts here on DD, although both of those things are all-too-common amongst DD members.
