You two are right, I'm coming out as trans. Just have to pen my email, and sort a place to hide for a couple nights until I know they aren't going to come looking for me.

For what its worth I think that way is a very good way to tell people... When I came out it was always via e-mail or text. Doing it that way allows you to write your thoughts eloquently and lets you make sure you get everything right, whilst also giving the other party time to digest it and respond in kind.

Since I have no experience with the whole trans world or any of the LGBT really in general I can't say either way but I feel something as important as this isn't someone someone should do digitally. This is a huge moment and should be in person. I agree with writing it down but pressing send and waiting for a respond sounds like you are avoiding them.
