Tried this again last night. Drank way too much water before bed and did not diaper heavy enough. Not a good combination. Not a good way to wake up....

Don't wear a diaper every night... Just when I want to.. And I usually wear a baggy t-shirt as a night shirt. But that wasn't a choice. And socks? no

Perhaps you should playfully "dare" her to do it in a future conversation... And maybe even carefully offer that you will buy if she will fly..

Yes She does. She does not understand why I would want to wear diapers (not that I do either...) but she has come to the conclusion that it is something that keeps me from going bonkers....

Wanted to see what this was like. And now I know. I figured that when I became too uncomfortable I would wake up and take care of things. But a few things conspired against me to make it an interesting night. First thing, my teenage son was out for the night. He has become a night person and can be found raiding the fridge at 3am. So with him staying else wear I didn't have to worry about taking care of things and being discovered by him. That changed when he text-ed (?) me at 1 am saying he was on his way home because his friends were being stupid (getting drunk). By that time I had already been diapered for a few hours and was wet... I figured that I did not have time to do laundry and put things away before he came home so I sent him a text letting him know I was glad he made the decision to come home and went back to sleep. Woke up about 3am when son pulled into the driveway and came into the house. Discovered I was saturated to the point of beginning to leak. And of course my son is in the kitchen getting a snack before he heads off to bed. Washer and dryer is in the hall off the kitchen so there is no way to take care of things without being caught by my son, who does not know anything about my wanting to wear diapers. So the next best thing. After my son clears out of the kitchen I wait a bit for things to quiet down and I change out of my wet diaper and remove the catheter in my bathroom. I rinse the diaper and stuffer and plastic pants out in the tub. Did I mention I was wearing cloth? And after cleaning myself up as best I could I set my alarm for 5am to get a load of clothes clean and dried before anyone else wakes up. Amazing thing is my Wife slept through all this with barely any idea of what I had going on..... Maybe I should not have had a couple of large glasses of water before bed... lol Sheesh...

That is a strange thing with adult diapers.... It seems that I see opened packages at stores quite frequently.. It must be a real hassle for the stores...

The beads would be inside the catheter tube.... And I am thinking that the beads themselves would be too big to slide out the eyelets at the bladder end of the cath...

How about the marshmallow trick instead?

Interesting... How about 2 plastic beads lubed and pressed into a intermittent catheter to form the bumps? No glue or other foreign bodies to cause potential trouble. Once pushed into place in the catheter and the catheter rinsed out the elasticity of the cath wall would hold the beads in their place. And if the holes of the beads were aligned with the cath tube you would get flow....

I added the bold... I really think I would have exceeded their capacity by sweat alone... Those were not even worth the 2 something I paid...

So a local Thrift store has unmarked packs of what I thought were white adult diapers for sale for 3.93 per pack. I pick a pack up and it is colored tag sale day.. 1/2 off... Wow... What a bargain... So I buy 1 pack and head out. Later I stop at a grocery store restroom to put one on. (Whole nuther story, but I find grocery store restrooms great for changing) I unfold it and am faced with this large thin plastic backed rectangle with two tapes. Just what did I get here? Funny, these looked thicker in the bag... Oh well, I proceed to put it on. After all, it was folded up like a diaper... Buy was I in for a surprise. Later while getting various errands done I noticed how hot and sweaty my back side was getting in this "diaper"... And later when I slowly wet it I was glad I wet it slowly... All I did was leave a puddle in the bottom of it..... Had to be real careful taking it off so I didn't spill it in my pants... I figure what I had actually bought was something like chux or underpads and the two tapes were for rolling it up when you were done with it... No identification marks or printing and nothing on the package... Oh well. A learning experience... Have a laugh on me...

Actually I will be using cloth diapers with a baby diaper stuffer and plastic pants. I expect to become uncomfortable because of the wet diaper and wake up before I leak out and wet my bed...
