The tena supers are better fitting than most other diapers. They are more absorbant than most medium quality diapers. Definitely going to nd a regularly used product.

My incon seems to be from peripheral neuropathy. Though my first symptom was a decrease in tolerance to heat. Then ui followed by pins and needles in my hands and feet.

My guilty pleasure tv would have to be 1000 ways to die. Some of the things that have been"reenacted" are hilarious, others you end up with the feeling that the world is just a little bit better.

I dont post much but I have to go along with what others have said. If you know you have the mental strength to go through then by all means do it. you do however need to be prepared for the fallout that will be charging your way.

I would suggest finding a story that closely simulates the kind of experiance that you want. That way he gets an idea of what to expect from you and how you will act while in LG mode. Obviously he means a lot to you and it would seem that you mean a lot to him. He may be more willing to play along than you think.

mndiaperboy19, I am glad that you found somehting that works. As with anyhting electrical be careful, you may experiance unexpectated results/side effects. Bettypooh, I also suffer from OAB, The "procedure if you will calls for a small needle similair to an accupuncture needle to be inserted in the leg just above the ankle bone. Its best if the needle is placed as close to the nerve as possible as it sends milliamp pulses up the nerve bundle which connects to the bladder. The Idea is a combination of strenghting the bladder and causeing a reset effect so to speak. It did not work on myself but it has helped a better portion of people. The particular cause of my OAB i believe is to be blamed for the failure.

Using a TENS unit will actually make the bladder stronger as it forces the bladder and the sphincter to contract. Increasing the muscle strength not reducing it. The same idea is used in Urology departments to help patients regain control of an overactive bladder.

I have to agree with the O.P. in that for some people it is no more of a choice than being a homosexual or being gender confused. I personally may not understand what it is like being gender confused or being a homosexual, however it should not be our place to negatively critisize some one because in there own way are trying to help people out . If you do not think something is a good idea, then try expressing your thoughts and reasons in a constructive way. Try providing your own ideas on achieving that same goal.

Tour taking the OP's statement out of context. without knowing all of the details you can not say one way or the other what the best coarse of action at that time was. It's poosible that the inury would not allow him to be cathed. My car accident did not break my back. However, it did seem to damage the sacrel nerves or the nerves that run from this bundle to the brain. I have also had a series of other issues that ertain to the prostate. All of which have contributed to my incontinence. I agree that in most cases medical profesional's will discourage diapers. I think I deserve them since my diapers all have the cloth covering. What good is a diaper with a cloth cover anyway? Plus, the diapers I do get are on the institutional scale which equals lots of leaks from someone who pee's as much as I do. Working with the tell tale cresents on the butt is just not professional plus it is embarassing, By the way im a size medium.

She is alrady accepting of the medical issue at hand. How I would start it, and that is if this has been an issue that has gone one for a long time ie. a couple of years, is that you can say that you have come to enjoy wearing diapers since it has been a while since it started and explain why you enjoy them. Then I would send her to this site as a primer and let her find atleast some of the details out for herself and let her bring the questions to you. However you need to be prepared that she may not accept this aspect of you. My best wishes to you and your new relationship. I am also more comfortable and confident when I'm diapered. That also has to fpo worth the fact rhat I'm incontinent so I'm always in a diaper unless I'm taking a shower.

The season they brought the stent is because of retention and placing in the area of the sphincter would stop him from retaining urine which has more serious side effects than the OP being incon the rest of his life. If you have never been cathed before its not fun at all.

EWith working nights and having a 2 year old and a 5 year old. My sleep comes in the form multiple naps through out the day. I sleep in my bed most of the time but if I can guaranteea decent amount of sleep (which is highly unlikely with two very active kids). I dont sleep on the couch much. being incontinent as well I'm always diapered. Also being a"hot" sleeper I prefer to sleep in just a diaper.but I usually have some sort of pajama bottom on.

There is a large variety of diapers available on the market today. However, being an incontinent, active adult I trend to shy away from the cheaper diapers because I am not always able to change when I need to. Now begs the question, do you all feel their is a large variety if quality or premium diapers available at a decent price? The longest I have been able to go with out a change has been about four hours or so and that's wearing a FQ nu-fit with a dignity double booster and that's spending most of the day in a sitting position. I feel that their would have been even less time between changes if I were constantly moving as well as dependantupob the outside temp. I have been able to push dry 24/7 to over three to four times the for and a half hour mark. The sad thing is is that most companies do not produce products that are designed to accommodate the ambulatory person. I would ready like to see more products that are designed for those active adults that may not always be able to change their diaper at the very moment they need to.
