  1. Holy hoarding batman! What are you planning on doing with the extra diapers after moving...surely you're not gonna throw them out?
  2. Thanks for the heads up! I know how embarrassing that can be. I recently ordered some vintage diapers off of e-bay, and was mortified when I picked up the OPEN package from the post office -- all this despite my specific instructions to the seller to ship discreetly. I've also had sellers ship in Huggies or Pampers boxes before which are about as indiscreet as it gets. Very frustrating!
  3. For both babyforyou and nhdl, I found that the old Bambino's did not fit well for me (prior to this recent batch). I find the fit to be MUCH better with the recent tape adjustment on the most recent batch, and and REALLY hoping Bambino does not revert back to the old specs. I know others here differ with me, but there were many of us that were in the same boat before hand.
  4. This sounds like the ramblings of a sane person to me. I really like this idea. I've always had similar worries as yours. I love my parents, but would not want them to have to walk into my apartment post-mortem and see it filled with diapers and baby stuff and wonder why. The journal/diary idea sounds like a great solution. I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon; but, especially in my line of work, one never knows when ones time will come.
  5. Do even the guys wear white? If so, that's just weird. Though, that Cheesecake Factory uniform does look hot on Penny.
  6. Apparently, lots of Olympians are dressing up in footed PJs in Sochi, and are bringing them home. There is apparently a store there that sells nothing but footed PJs! Many olympians are predicting that the trend will catch on in the US...I can only hope! There are some olympians that I would LOVE to see in a sleeper...of course, especially with thick diapers on underneath....article here.
  7. I have 1000's of diapers in my collection of varying varieties. My collection currently takes up about 3 cabinets, 2 closets, and about half of an apartment (yeah, I have a problem)!
  8. Well said. The reasons you outline below are why TSA procedures are commonly referred to as a "security theatre."
  9. As somebody who flies around 125,000 miles per year, I've had too many embarrassing TSA experiences to list. What I can recommend to others is: get/pay for/qualify for TSA Pre-check. If you have to go through an airport without pre-check, and with a nude-o-scope, I highly recommend only wearing 1 dry diaper. Do as I do, and change into thicker diapers after security. It is much more of a pain, but much better than being subjected to the strip search like I have been. As for the diapers in the carry-on..I've never ever had a problem with them.
  10. Okay. Just got a shipment of the upside down Medium Bellisimo's in. I've gotta say, the new softer lining is AWESOME! It is sooooo heavenly. And, not sure if they changed the dimensions/tapes, but these seem to fit me WAY BETTER than the previous versions. Go Bambino! Thanks again for your awesome diapers!
  11. As somebody who has spent some time in Shanghai, I can say that there are lots of places to buy adult diapers in Shanghai. Most large grocery stores carry them. You should have no problem finding diapers. If that doesn't work, they have a WHOLE STREET of stores that sell diapers:
  12. Glad to hear. If the diapers make you happy, that's what really matters. And I haven't found them to be THAT bad like people here have made them out to be. While they are no Abena or Bambino, they're better than a lot of the cr*p out there.
  13. Despite my name, I'd have to currently go with Bambino's -- specifically the Bellisimo...sooo nice and thick and comfy and absorbent with a nice smooth plastic outer cover.
  14. According to Bambino's website, it looks like they are going to begin to incorporate a softer cotton lining on the inside of their diapers. The roll-out will gradual as they move through their current stock. Can't wait to try the new lining!
  15. I used to love Shining Time Station as a kid. Can't say I've watched or kept up with the current iteration of the show, though.
  16. Boy, I SO know how you feel. This is why I always wear THICK diapers when traveling. It was a lot easier to do so before those stupid nude-o-scopes at the airport. Thankfully, I have TSA Pre-check most of the time, so I can wear thicker diapers on longer flights. For instance, when flying overseas, I am usually in an 2 Medium Abena's and a large Attends (as an example).
  17. Wow. Sorry to hear about the situation for both of you. You know what they say...it's better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all.
  18. I do it for many reasons. I obviously do it to feel babyish, but also because I have a Copenhagen addiction which I would love to quit. While I do not see that happening anytime soon, I find the pacifier is an awesome replacement for that nasty habit when at home...too bad I can't suck on it in public!
  19. Great start to the blog. You write very well. Keep the updates coming! I LOVE Hawaii, and can't wait to go back!
  20. Man, OP. Glad to hear they were able to re-attach everything, and I hope for a full and speedy recovery for you. I'm also glad that you were able to enjoy a little diaper time in the hospital, and on top of it in quality diapers like Molicares (which are rare in a hospital).
  21. You'll find there are several different sub-fourms here depending on the diaper specific interest you have. Chit Chat is probably a good place to start as any, and it could always be moved from there if it needs to go to a different place (such as the Diaper Lovers forum. Welcome aboard!
  22. I strongly support this endeavor, and thank you, spoon chicken, for the idea. Let me know how I can help.
