Funny you should mention this topic. I lived in Chicago for about a year and was eager to possibly find a store with even a few ab/dl related things. maybe a specialized fetish shop or something. While searching, I kid you not, I found a medical supply store called AB4U Medical Supply Store. After going there it was just a plain, run of the mill small medical supply store. I was hoping for like a huge back area with a big selection of diapers and other ab/dl related items. Very disappointing.

In fact i did. I asked for them some time while I was in high school. My mother knew I liked diapers, it was just never talked about. She was pretty neutral to it all. Anyway, whenever she would go to the store she would ask if I needed anything while she was there. Generally speaking it was things like deodorant or school supplies. I had actually been needing to buy a pack of condoms and some diapers for myself so I told her that I did need something from the store but I would get it myself. After telling her this she of course had to be nonchalantly nosy by insisting that she could buy it for me. After seeing her eagerness to attain whatever I wanted I told her that I was going to go to the store later to get condoms. Glad to see her son be safe with his sexuality, she said she would be happy to get them for me and asked if I needed anything else. Again, I told her that I did but I was going to go to the store later to get it myself. She thought I was joking but quickly realized I was not. It was quite obvious that she HAD to know what could be more secretive than condoms so she used the same nosy tactic by INSISTING that she would buy it for me NO MATER WHAT IT WAS. So finally I just said calmly, as if it was a completely normal thing "Ok, if you insist. Can you pick up a pack of depends overnight protection for me? I wear the small/medium size. please don't get then mixed up with the adjustable briefs, those have a cloth backing and I like it to be plastic". Boy did that stun her, but she was actually going to get them for me!!!! Epic win I thought. I swear, sometimes I think she wishes she had a gay child, just to show how accepting of a mother she would be to the world. unfortunately when she came home she said she just didn't feel comfortable buying them for me and it would be better if I got them myself. I guess it would be like if I had a son and he asked me to buy him some panties. I wouldn't care that he wanted them at all but I don't think I would be fully comfortable buying them either. I would just give him cash to buy whatever underwear he wanted (panties, boxers, diapers, it doesn't matter). She did get me condoms though .

yes, that might be cool to meet up sometime. Just not in the near future however.

I just got mine in the mail today. A HUGE factor in me buying them was the fact that they have the option of a baby fresh scent for a few extra bucks on the order. I can tell you right now that the scent is absolutely intoxicating. They smell just like a baby diaper. If you like the smell of a baby diaper it is more than worth the extra money. I have never been able to find a diaper with it and now that I have, it is on an amazingly babyish diaper. Worth it in every way. Just my 2 cents. Hope this helps.

I just got mine in the mail today!!! First impressions, I absolutely LOVE them. The baby fresh scent is unbelievable and they look so cool. Totally worth the price, even if just for looks imo. The one tape worked better than expected and is easily re adjustable on the "landing pad" so no problems there. It is plenty thick enough and it makes me feel very babyish. I have not wet them yet so I can't judge them at all there but I am sure it has to be better than the bargain care facility ones I have been using (still can't figure out the brand). Anyway, besides the price these are amazing.

I can't stand the cloth like diapers. I suppose I am the generation that should like the modern pampers style but give me an Abena any day. I can't remember the diapers I wore as a baby but I can still remember that my younger siblings' diapers, which I use to steal, where all the plastic backed Luvs. I truly hope that plastic backed disposables don't become endangered. They are already a threatened species in their natural habitat. In 15-20 years from now, It would be a HUGE bummer to have to pay twice/triple as much for plastic backed diapers just because of sheer supply and demand.

lol, I love it when my girlfriend teases me by calling me "crinkle butt" especially when she is "punishing me" with diapers (like now , 2 month sentence). It is especially fun if we are in a public place but people are just out of an earshot.

Yes, I deal with horrible manic depression. I know technically it is the same thing as bi-polar but I view it as very different. I go through these great periods of euphoria and creativeness. I will brainstorm wild ideas, create masterpieces of artwork and believe that i can do anything. Then, out of the blue, it hits me; I feel insurmountable sadness and despair. I can't do anything productive and I find no joy in anything except for diapers, which helps me through allot of it. It always seems like it hits me during the night or in the middle of winter time. I need to move somewhere warm. I live right on one of the great lakes.

I'm always a bit hesitant to wet but when I do it is always much more comfortable. The feeling of relief might add to that as well. you're right, they do form around you better. It's a very comforting feeling.

Long car trips are the best while padded. If it is a really long trip I will diaper up super thick. Like two abenas with two boosts. I truly hope one of these days I get pulled over and the cop searches me or my car with the obvious diapers in the backseat. It would just be kind of fun to have to explain that I wear diapers. It would certainly make a police station experience a whole lot more fun. But alas, I am a law abiding citizen who follows traffic laws as best I can.

I was just in another thread a second ago and people were mentioning codewords they use with a spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend for the word diaper. For years I have used the word "shoes" with my girlfriend and I thought I was the only one to use a code. When you think about it, it is a very practical thing to do. Anyway, it seemed like enough to merit its own thread. Does anyone else have a codeword for diapers?

lol, I forgot, I have a codeword as well. We use "shoes". ie. "I am wearing shoes", "put on some shoes, we are heading out", "your shoes are wet", "We should buy some shoes" honestly, it works pretty well.

I have not tried them yet but I am kind of disappointed with some people's experiences with them. If there is one thing I hate it is a leaky diaper. The only thing worse is an expensive leaky diaper. It is more simple to do if you flatten the whole rings which actually adds more practical battle protection because it bring the rings closer together. flattened rings use to be used to prevent an arrow, spear, or sword tip from penetrating your skin a little through the gaps between the rings. The rivets helped with keeping the rings together during such a "stabbing" blow. If and arrow can break just one ring it can very easily go through. very sorry, I digress. After you make your rings you bend the two ends so that they overlap slightly. Then, if preferred, you heat them using a forge or torch. However, it is not completely necessary. Then you take each ring and hammer it flat so that the two ends are still overlapping each other but flattened. If you want you can just flatten the ends with a special hammer, leaving just the ends flattened over each other and the rest of the ring nice and round. The only advantage to doing this is aesthetics and weight because when flattened the rings cluster a bit more densely. Then you take a special chisel tool, with a nice sharp point, and hammer a hole through the overlapping ends. After all of that just bend the rings apart and make the garment as you normally would while hammering in rivets through the holes as you go. You can buy rivets in bulk at several places online. It all gets time consuming but after you get a technique down it really isn't all that bad. It looks cool as hell too, gives a very authentic look.

My girlfriend is more than cool with it all. Currently, she just started a diaper punishment and is making me wear 24/7 for two months. She changes me a lot but if she doesn't feel like it she makes me change myself (only when I have her permission).
