I once had my checking account compromised, likely because I had used the associated debit card online. Someone cleaned out my entire account purchasing WoW characters using paypal. It sounds just like a drug addict stealing to support their habit.
This may sound rude, but I had actually thought Peter Steele was already dead. I did come across something about a hoax from five years ago about him personally faking his own death, so I'm not entirely insane.
"Hey, man, you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet warrior in the classic sense." (From Apocalypse Now)
I had the same routine. I would try to pick the thickest (as it hurt the least), but if I picked one that was deemed too thick, my father got to choose- Which would always be the thinnest possible. I think the anticipation was the most effective part of the punishment.
I actually read about it here, first, which is oddly amusing to me. But get your facts straight: Dio did not die of cancer. Clearly, he was eaten by a dragon.
When I was bullied, I used to growl and bark like a dog. My dog, specifically. There was some hitting/clawing/kicking/biting involved, too, but it did work.
Yes. I've never had a cashier act any differently or unprofessionally. That part has never made me nervous. But I have run into people I know while shopping at both drug stores and more specific medical supply stores, and that did make for unpleasant thrills and "what ifs." Nothing was ever said about me having a case of pull-ups under my arm, but I think they noticed and may or may not have thought it odd.
