    Size?

Always make sure the hip size quoted is as big if not bigger than your hips. The reason for this is simple:- the pants must be big enough to go over your hips the wais on the other hand is elasticated so that will grip anyway. Males have no waist compared to females who tend to be cruvy If you have a much bigger tummy than hips then you are going to have to go with the the waist size but they will be baggy. This wont be a problem over a nappy. There is always the instrument of last resort- The tape measure!
  2. This is where a really large syringe and some warm oats come in handy. The efect is fairly quick and the feeling is the same as a softish load. Whats more you can sit in it as long as you want without the smell. A good scenario would be to do this to your Babysub and send them out to the shops. Marcia
  3. I think that wetting the bed is a very bad idea, after all you will have to sleep on a ruined matress or replace it. If you already have a matress protector then you are already there. This is a personal problem and I cant see why you can't just wear diapers to bed. If your father notices just say "I know it's a bit embaressing but I have had a few acidents and Mom thought it would be best to wear something at night" You say your Mom is ok with it so tell her to confirm this if your dad asks. It would not have bothered me in the slightest if my son or daughter wore diapers to bed. If you had a sister would she have to ask for your father's permission to wear a sanitory pad?
  4. Hello all, please bear in mind that every 3rd Sunday of the there is the Bizare Bazar, or fetish market. This is held at Nightingale's night club just off Hurst St. in Birmingham. They have no problem with you wandering around there in your onsie. There used to be an AB stall but not sure if there is still one. I am considering having a stall to show of my AB wear. There is at least one or two AB's there and you could always arrange to meet otheres there. Opening time 10am till 4pm. Marcia
  5. Welcome Baby hope you have fun here. Best wishes, Marcia
  6. The figure I would put is more like 90%. Its a physical thing that during the imprinting stage of a babies/toddlers development these fetishes are triggered and the popular belief is that males get more stimulaion in the genital region simply because theirs stick out. I know my interest was already there before the age of 4 so that wasn't a choice thing. Most mothers will say boys are harder to potty train than girls. What backs up my ratio theory is having known a lady that made adult baby clothes for many years and when asked she had only ever come across 2 genuine female ab's out of hundreds of customers. But things change and fetished become more socially acceptable and mainstream thats when girls are more likley to try them out.
  7. I have used both types but the problem with the enema is there is too much liquid if you want to fill your diaper. There is a halfway-house solution which works well. buy lquid glycerine mix about 20ml with 80mls of water and insert it with a syringe as high up as you can. For this you need about 10 inches of tubing on the end of the syringe (a catheter will do). For me this worked in about 5 minutes. You can vary the dillution and amout to get the time you want. I also tried it with a small electric pump on a timer, went to bed well diapered and with the tube inserted. I set the timer for 4am when I would be deep asleep. It was wonderfull! Marcia x

An amazing selection of diaper covers, well done. Must get my machine out and start sewing again!
  9. I know what you mean about being short in the waist, I hate that. Currently I have been wearing Euronform large, they come right up over my belly. I an a 32 waist so they are a bit big which is only noticeable in the fact the leg bands are loose. To solve that problem and prevent leaks I fit them back to front (with the tapes at the back). for some reason tis makes the legs very snug. But when all is said and done you cant beat a terry nappy.

I have to admit to being a cheapskate and use acetone only because its about £1.50 a litre. they usually add a bit of water and lanolin because it dries your skin out. The water stops it drying really quickly and is there to cheapen it (the water is the reason you cant thin nail varnish with commercial remover). Also I keep some in the car because I have been driving along the next day and suddenly realised I still have nail varnish on. Never take it off my toe nails until it needs changing but don't go to the door to the postman in the morning with nothing on your feet ! You can always pick up some good makes of polish from markets for a pound or less.
  11. Yes you are quite right. Unless you have an overwhelming desire to do it DON'T. But I guess thats like telling someone not to smoke! I wouldn't let someone leave a latex catheter in me for 3 moths ! For heavens sake a silicone one is only 6 or 7 pounds, Latex is a natural material that perishes. Also some people are highly alergic to it, including my partner. If you rubbed a latex glove on her hand you would have about 12 minutes to get her to A&E before anaphylactic shock killed her. A suprapubic Catheter is a whole different ball game it is a surgical procedure that involves puncturing the bladder. (ouch). Also worth bearing in mind is after performing this sterile procedure of fitting your catheter is what you do with the end of it. You now have a opening to the outside world right into your bladder. Therefore its important that you don't allow a backwash of urine that's met with the air. Tubing should always travel downwards which is not easy. No one should have to endure pain from a professional fitting a catheter because they have urethral numbing gels these days. M
  12. Cloth diapers are nicer but unfortunately not as discreet as the modern gel filled disposables which start off very thin and only really swell when soaked. Pre-folds are easier but if they are thick enough they take a lot of drying. I always wear plastic pants over any type of nappy, I just don't trust them! High wasted ones with a wide crotch at night and normal ones for day. If you cant get a pair to fit if you message me with your sizes I will make you a pair. Marcia
  13. In the UK we have something called the disablement discrimination act (D.D.A) which makes it a legal requirement of any business or public service to make provisions for disabled people whatever their needs are. And there are toilets in most places for this purpose. They are unisex and have the space and grab rails etc. that someone in a wheelchair can easily get into. This goes for most of Europe. In fact when I was in Germany they even had a bin for adult diaper disposal in them. I am very interested in designing things that make life easier for disabled people and I would suggest if someone can't use disposables to have a pair of waterproof pants with a fastening system front and back so that a folded diaper square can be held in place. It would be simple then to drop the pants in a cubicle pull out the wet diaper and clip in a new one. This would avoid having to have three hands to pin on a fresh diaper. The simplest solution I have come up with so far to aid changing standing up is an elastic strap fasted with a press stud. You put it around your waist and slip the front of the diaper under the band. This holds the front while you put the diaper between your legs and pull it round the back. it works well with disposable if positioned between the tapes. After fitting the diaper you just undo the press stud and pull out the band out. Marcia
  14. The only way to get them easily in the UK is on Ebay, there is someone that sells on there from the British Virgin Islands. They came within 3 days. Choose a small size to start with, say Fr12(ch12). This is French gauge No.12 to get the size divide by 3 so Fr12 = 4mm diameter. Use a sterile lube wash you hands and everything else and don't rush. try not to touch the part of the catheter you are inserting. Insert it until you feel it hit the sphincter (this will feel like you need to go) if you try to relax and pee it will open and you can carry on inserting. Insert it right up to the Y before inflating the balloon, then let it descend until the balloon seats. If the catheter is too small it will leak from around it but that is not a big deal. When you remove it deflate the balloon and it will usually eject itself without pain. IF it hurts a lot STOP and unless you can find out why don't do it. Also very important:- Latex Catheters are not good for long term I.E. more than a few days (all catheters start colonising bacteria after a while). So its worth using Silicone ones if it has to stay in a few weeks. For any one who has not tried it you may be disappointed with the lack of feeling because you don't have the usual sensation of wetting your nappy. Sorry this was a bit long. xx
  15. You will be liable to pay the customs duty for the country you are in. You may escape the duty if you are lucky and they will arrive. Sellers sometimes mark the customs documents as "gift" but the customs may not accept that. As to the item; I am surprised someone has said they ripped because urethane bonded cloth is very tough usually. The down side is that thick all-in-ones like this take a hell of a lot of drying if you cant open out the layers...something I am working on! Hugs Marcia
