  1. Seems like she gave you a fair audience - I think your expectations were too high.
  2. I don't think anything has changed - there is also no product news on their website as to any recent improvements or changes.
  3. I have had no splitters, but have experienced about a 10% rate of the tapes stretching and then tearing off the back panel.... this is usually after extended wear and when they are swelled up - I guess a built in sign of the need for change, but awkward trying to walk around with a half undone wet diaper....
  4. They run big for the stated size - at least as far as medium is concerned. They are significantly larger than other premium diapers for the same size by at least a few inches in waist length (maybe more).
  5. I almost always buy a case or two at a time - I guess because cost per unit is significantly less. I don't think it unwise to invest in a case of diapers at a time. I can work around most problems with a diaper to get through a case, I just may not go back for reorders. That was always my issue with Bambinos - tapes should not tear off the back of a properly fitting diaper - and I sure shouldn't have to duct tape a premium diaper. I can deal with that for a case - and have in the past. I am happy to say I have not had tape problems with the Bellisimos (though they do get saggy after extended wear from the plastic and tapes stretching out). They have excellent capacity and the way they swell up from the gel is an awesome feeling to be sure. I would buy more for sure.
  6. I easily fit into Bambino mediums - and the tapes tearing off the back is the sole reason I haven't bought from them in a long time. I just got a case of the new ones - bellisimos or whatever they are called - so will see (only one diaper in at this point), but so far so good. Seems ridiculous though to have add tape as reinforcement to a premium diaper...
  7. Pretty good - had not seen that one on the TV yet.
  8. I hope it is not a sign of more to come.
  9. You wouldn't happen to have a spare coupon would you?
  10. and dang - you are a serious Family Guy fan!
  11. All mail originating from another country and entering the US is subject to search - US Customs has that authority (they don't disclose the criteria they use to decide what to open of course - and yes, they can open your personal letters as well). There are plenty of things that enter the US illegally under the disguise of legitimately factory sealed products so when you import anything from another country there at least needs to be the appearance of the threat it could be searched - maybe helps keep some of the criminals more clever. At least they didn't open all of them.
  12. I don't work in a call center, but do have to return a number of calls where people tell me something or ask me to do something. Sometimes it is many calls, and they can be unpredictable in frequency (sometimes several in a few minutes) - I wonder if there are folks out there that have suggestions on how to survive constant interruption in work activities to field these calls without conveying what becomes inevitable irritation (sometimes the calls are very stupid) - I think some of you call center/customer service folks might have some thoughts on how you handle those situations - and how I can learn to play nicely on the phone. I have considered that I am a douchebag - but I figure I still have to pretend to be nice.
  13. But what kind of internet would this be if not for the drama we create?
  14. If you look again they took adult sizes and made them into baby sizes - just look at the size chart toward the bottom of the page.
  15. I have bought from him/her off ebay with good success - the diaper covers they sell are wicked soft and are nice to wear. The fleece ones are not waterproof per say - but are definitely a fun addition to a disposable diaper and help with small leaks. I also notice the website has been substantially upgraded since I last saw it a few months ago.
  16. Out of my hands now, thanks for your inquiries
  17. A disgusting lack of sympathy. I don't see how anyone could think this kind of thing is funny at all and is a sad commentary about the mass of people in the audience laughing. What ridiculous behavior...
  18. Yes, failure to change is a decided disadvantage 24/7... Like others I have given it a try, but eventually burnout on it. More recently I found myself really considering the point of being 24/7 and decided that in fact, who would want it? Not me, so I just stick to whenever I feel like it.
  19. Never once have I used a platitude - but good on you for actually reverting to the very thing you accuse me of. Debate all you want - just pointing out it is a worthless endeavor. If you choose to spend your time that way - so be it. Besides, I would hardly say I have been shouting... HAVE A NICE DAY!
  20. Not everyone agrees with you that they made any mistake. This has been debated to death and obviously there is no argument you can profess that will convince me or the other doubters of your contrived diaper morality. Why bother anymore - just vote with your dollars and take your business elsewhere and other folks will continue to enjoy ABU products.
  21. Because they owe you a defense? They don't owe you anything - and based on the posts there is no reputation to save - most of you anti-ABU folks made up your minds long ago - nothing anyone can do about that, so what is the point? Nice to think you could be that special that they will come out and explain themselves to you, but I would consider more worthwhile endeavors than waiting for that.
  22. Won't matter to all the morality enforcers and all the others who think they know the universal laws of diaper etiquette... but perhaps now they can stop griping about it and reiterating each other's posts and move on.
