Religion has been used for good as well as evil. The evil makes for better headlines and sells more books. Whenever Im overwhelmed by the sad news surrounding religion, i think of the beautiful chirches and mosques that defied gravity and pushed the limita of human engineering. Or the equations ancient mayans used in astronomy that are still used today. It took science to create such things, and religion to drive us as one. It is a uniquely human quality. I would argue fox news has brought down the intelligence level of other cable news such as cnn. Dont believe me, then go to your public lIbrary and take out one of the many documentaries on this phenomenon. Never before have there been so many clueless talking heads. Yup, picked up the dirty habbit while driving around the west this summer. Tobacco just makes sense in death valley. I recommend switching to a roll your own brand. I smoke american spirit organic, which is a lot cheaper then commercial brands. It also delivers ten times the nicotine content, so you smoke less and get fewer cravings. At least thats been my experience. Add to that all the additives in commercial cigs arent there. Its my personal belief that the real killers in cogarettes are the additives and crappy papers they use. And how many smokers do you see burning that cherry right down to the filter? Cant be good. I think the humiliation came from my parents reinforcing the feelings of wanting to be an adult and not have accidents. They didn't go out of there way to punish me, though I can remember my mom being pretty upset at times. And having two older sisters as role models added to the humility of it all. I would never go out of my way to humiliate my child. Social pressures on the other hand i think are a good, effective way to jump start the next phase of a childs life. I was attached to diapers before being potty trained, so for me it was a good thing to want to grow up and join my peers outside the changing table.

I can remember having numerous accidents growing up, which were usually followed by punishment of some sort. Humiliation and wanting to be a "big boy" was the real trick, though i hear m&ms played a role as well. I trained at three, which at the time was considered late. Btw its complete BS that training late could somehow create paraphilic infantilism. If that was the case we would be a nation of adult babies. Sexual desires are imprinted at a much earlier age then toilet training.

Haha well the WHY is the easy question. It feels good! And sex is a powerful motivator to do things you wouldnt normally do. Seems like the few girls who are ABs came about later in life, through self discovery or a boyfriend. Yet it seems like a lot of males, like me, felt these desires since day one. After reading wikipedias page on infantilism, it makes me think its largely a genetic disorder found in men. I hate using the term disorder, but all of our pasts and experiences are different. I for one have felt this way since the day i was toilet trained, and there is no abuse or traumatic events in my past. Sure i didnt grow up in a perfect family, but who did? Wheres the common link if we all have different theories on why we are this way?

I think wikipedias page about us is pretty good. I think a page about ab's written by ab's would be mostly self serving, and dd seems to have that covered. Perhaps we should have some psyc people write more for the wikipedia page? There must be at leadt one of us whos a psychologist for a profession. It would be nice to not be labeled as having a disorder or syndrome, perhaps the negative labels are why so many hide this thing in the closet.

I am all for exhibitionism, as long as there are no fat chicks, and no dudes. End sarcasm But on a serious note, ask yourself where the desire to show off comes from. My personal belief is that we as a community need to communicate more with close friends and loved ones our funky ab dl side. Otherwise it gets pent up and expresses itself through bizarre channels, such as exhibitionism. Actually a girlfriend told me that, right after I opened up to her. Really this whole thing isnt that big of a deal, I think it clashes with our sense of masculinity more than anything and leaves us embarrassed to be who we are. Maybe this was already mentioned, but heres a take on things- As an artist, much of my work sold through retail is on a consignment basis. I set the price, and the store carrying my work gets a percentage, from 30-50 percent-though an online consignment fee would be better at 5-10 percent. How about starting with an online consignment shop where products are shipped directly from the creator? This would be great for clothing. My favorite Ab clothes are the ones that fit the best, and thats hit or miss with generic sizes shipped in from dubious third world countries. There are plenty of AB clothing producers on Etsy and Ebay that could benefit from a single marketplace. And the registration fee thing would ensure NOBODY purchased products from your website! Kick that idea out the door.

There are many lonely ABs out there, but have no fear this does not need to be you. Without knowing more it sounds like a communication issue-if she accepts your need to wear diapers but disagrees with the AB side-maybe she just doesnt see where your coming from. Meh, dating websites are a place for people to post there shopping list for what they want in the perfect person, without realizing how shallow they are-when you meet a person in real life, you aren't running down a list of likes and wants. Either things click, or they don't. Doesn't work that way online, and because of that I've had much better success by actually TALKING to people rather than looking at a brief description of how tall and what shade of blue my eyes need to be before someone will even say hello. Add to that the ratio of male to female on fetish websites and you're way better off by leaving the few girls on those sites to the internet pervs. Go to the bar, have a drink, meet a girl who truly likes you and she'll do whatever.
