  1. To be fair, a number of TV shows and websites have picked up on us and cast us in a poor light. Say what you will about individuals who go on these shows, it reflects on our entire community whether we like it or not, so Id say the "phobia" does exist-to a very small, minor extent. Frankly, I just call those people assholes.
  2. Rare indeed-I have one pair of high school friends who started dating around 16, and are now married with a child. Both happy with succesful jobs, and while it is rare, it does happen. Speaking from a guy's perspective, I could see how a female AB could
  3. Theres actuallu nothing in the Bible from God or Jesus about sexuality-all of it was written by men, and the most quoted verses from Leveticus and Romans which are interpreted to be anti-gay, are still up for interpretation. Also, at the time of their writing, pedophilia was common amongst the upper elite, sholars and the priesthood, so I could see where the church would condemn it at the time only to have it later interpreted as being anti gay in general, not just anti-pedohpile. Ive read a few of your posts Lee and theyre terribly sad. Have you considered divorce?
  4. Thank you for posting this, I enjoyed the article. Id have to agree that diapers are the main factor in becoming an AB. I strongly believe that without diapers, infantilism as we know it wouldnt exist. Just about everybody likes to relive parts pf their childhood if it was a good one, yet its only ABs who go all out with diapers and clothing. Id also like to hypothesize why we dont see Adult Babies outside of western culture. (Japan is western, BTW, if not a strange version of it) For the last 60 years or so women have been going to work, dividing their time between raising kids and helpig to pay the bills. I grew up in a house like this-my earliest memories are of my mom chasing me out of her home office. Lord knows how many projects of hers I fucked up. I know that with my dad working full time and my two older sisters in school, the time I was a baby was probably the only time I received the attention I needed, and probablyhe only time I experienced tender love from my mom. I cant say I have any memories of my mom hugging me or telling me she loved me. Im sure it happened, but not wnough for me to remember, and I think my brain formed an obsession with diapering time because of this disparity. This problem seems to be uniquely western. Only in westernized countries is the average citizen able to afford things like daycare, diapers and babysitters, all replacements for actual parenting. Look at how children are raised with the family during all activitiesof the day in other cultures, such as India and Africa. I think this allows for better parent/child bonds to form, hence why kids aren't associating love with an inanimate object such as diapers. The love they needed came from their parents. Its ok though, while weve been casting away the traditional roles of women, soon the tradiional roles of men will be thrown out as well, and we wont have to worry about women judging us as not being "manly" because we like to wear diapers. I dont mean to end the post on a cynical note but
  5. Well what the hell? They setup a new website, collect a bunch of orders they dont deliver on, then setup a new website claiming to make everything right? Im still waiting to hear on my case with the last website. How any CC company would continue to do business with them is beyond me. If upon calling them they make things right, Ill heap praise on them. If not Ill have to continue postig warnings to other users to not order from them.
  6. Ahhh man... I didnt think I would like stuffed animals until a gf of mine encouraged me to snuggle with hers. The feeling of having a giant (it was 4' tall) teddy bear in my arms while wearing footed pjs and a diaper was overwhelming-the feeling of being comforted times 100. Im pretty tall myself-if I ever get a plushie Im going to get a giant one, preferably close to my height. My only fear is if I see a bear in the woods my instict will be to spoon it instead of running away.
  7. Hey Milly, youre asking all the right questions, and getting all the right answers. The only thing Ill add is that, as someone who does commissioned works as an artist, Ive foud communication to be key to getting the exact product you want. Like others have said, deviantart is a great marketplace to start. I would look for an artist with works in their portfolio that at least have some elements of what you would want in your own commission. Basicly, an easy set of goals to work from for the artist. Subject matter, lighting, "style" of how they portray the human body, etc-these are some easy, objective points to start from in informing the artist of what you expect to see in a final product. Chances are, if youre paying 50 dollars or less, I wouldnt expect any revision of the final product after you see it without paying more, so make sure you communicate fully what you want and youll be satisfied. Oh, and money talks-paying 50% up front tends to be the norm with commissioned works and helps get the artist motivated. If you really like the artist's work and they dont charge this up front, offer it anyways. It will tend to work in your favor.
  8. I live in Colorado, its a great place! Moved here a year ago and couldn't be happier.
  9. I would highly recommend getting rid of her baby stuff (and maybe some of yours too, if it reminds you of her.) The first g/f I had who I shared this side of with broke up with me and it was real tuff-I put her pjs and diapers in a shoe box and stuck it under the bed. However, it was like that box infected the rest of my AB stuff which was next to it. In the end I brought the shoe box and some of my stuff to the dump and said goodbye. Blocked her on facebook and wahlah- it was like turning a new page. In order to get over her I needed to just rid her completely from my physical world. Good luck sir-
  10. Some good anecdotes here, especially from christine. Are you sure youre not a stoner christine? Your rant about broad axes and splitting stars with the mind was pretty far out. Anyways, I myself enjoy marijuana and occasionally in the past did mushrooms. I agree that everything should be in moderation. I have provided a link to actual scientific proof that halucinogens do indeed expand the mind, and have created a better world for us. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychedelics_in_problem-solving_experiment And a quote from there: In the book LSD — The Problem-Solving Psychedelic, Stafford and Golightly write about a man engaged in naval research, working with a team under his direction on the design of an anti-submarine detection device for over five years without success. He contacted a small research foundation studying the use of LSD. After a few sessions of learning to control the fluidity of the LSD state (how to stop it, how to start it, how to turn it around) he directed his attention to the design problem. Within ten minutes he had the solution he had been searching for. Since then, the device has been patented by the U.S., and Navy and Naval personnel working in this area have been trained in its use.[7] And heres a hilarious youtube video about Dock Ellis, who threw a perfect game in MLB while on an LSD binge (he was on other drugs as well) http://youtu.be/_vUhSYLRw14 I could go on, but my opinion is clear. And for a bit of my own anecdotal evidence, Ive enjoyed marijuana with lawyers, doctors, a politician, teachers, countless business owners... as well as dead beats and homeless people. I dont think marijuana greatly affected who they became. Again, I think problems arise with abuse, and anything can be abused. Why single out a drug thats not chemically addictive?
  11. By the email address alone, its clear this company wants to sell you for money in trade for fifteen minutes of fame. If youre going to be a prostitute, at least move to Nevada where you can get worker protection and fair compensation.
  12. Just give craigslist a try, sometimes the only thing online dating sites provide is the illusion of premium benefits.
  13. I prefer to look at it objectively-for the most part, we're all here due to wanting to wear diapers. To a non-diaper enthusiest, we're all adult babies. Why try and divide it further? Ive read too many posts where people say that they're dl, but not "into the baby stuff", all while saying they love bambinos, footie pajamas, pacifiers, etc. How many posts in the "diaper lovers" forum talk about regressive objects? I cant help but see it as a way to somehow make themselves feel better by putting one class of diaper lovers below the other. Again, to anyone outside the community, if youre into diapers in any way but dont need them, well, youre an adult... who likes a rather babyish item. Are we not all AB in that regard? Just because one guy/girl does something completely different in terms of what they get from it doesn't mean we have to somehow split hairs over it. Seems rather overly PC, and ya, it divides the community. One thing I do like DD for over adisc is the fact that you can post your opinion and expect to receive everyone else's, whether you like it or not. Moderated discussion gets rather boring after a while.
  14. Amazon's paying him to promote their business, nothing more, nothing less. Pyramid schemes are an essential part of capitalism. No need to get our collective panties in a knot.
  15. Repaid, I feel like you could write a novelette about that part of your past. Sounds fun, exciting, and intriguing... How long ago was this, the early 90s?
