  1. I'm not too sure of how much you have invested in your project but there are sites out there that sell onesies at a very reasonable price. Two that I have managed to run across are http://bodysuit.com/index.html and http://www.fetware.com/onezee.htm . I haven't purchased from the first site to give any reviews on their products but I have from the second site. They might be worth looking into if your project doesnt work out too well.
  2. I would have to say spinach and squash as a child, I can't get enough of them now though.
  3. I have a set of these here http://www.humanerestraint.com/page07.html the hook and loop style, very fun to play with.
  4. Found this while browsing news feeds and other pages of interest. http://www.villagevoice.com/2002-08-13/columns/still-in-diapers/
  5. have to agree with previous poster, abena xplus bout the same amount of time. its like a bottomless well
  6. As stated up above, pain threshold will be an issue until your used to it. Keep everything clean and use plenty of lubricant. Also, for those of you that go for more than a night or so, be sure to clean the catheter using soap and warm water and dry everything off afterwards. Warm, wet surfaces are excellent breeding grounds for bacteria ( don't give'em a chance). Going slow and taking deep breaths also helps in the insertion. Once you reach the bladder sphincter you will feel a bit more pressure and the reflex to urinate will occur. Just breath slow and try to relax and slowly push it in. If your connected to a drain bag you should start to see urine flow through the tubing to the bag. If not then i recommend a changing pad under you first. Once your setup and good to go, drinking cranberry juice and keeping well hydrated with water will keep you flowing nicely and also will help keep bacteria from building up in your bladder. Main things to remember is clean and staying hydrated. Also on a side note, depending on how long you keep the catheter in for, when you remove it i recommend a diaper to be on the safe side for the next 8-10 hrs. You may experience the need to urinate and not be able to make it to the restroom in time. Also until you become more accustomed to it, there will be a burning sensation the first few times you urinate after removing. Just drink liquids and make yourself have to go for a while and you should be ok afterwards. Be safe and have fun.
  7. Every bag of Abena I have ever ordered has had the instructions printed on the packaging.
  8. Lvl 80 Dk - Myrtani on Kargath Server, US. Also i play eve online as well, ObiwanJanobus. ( Star Wars fan here )
  9. July 4th of this year will be my 1 yr so far. Figured if I'm gonna start, then I might as well celebrate my "independance" from the evil potty.
  10. im not gonna claim to know the answer to the not being able to pee while sitting or laying easy. A lot of it is in getting yourself used to doing it in those positions. But I can also say that a lot of the peeing while sitting in the car or in an upright position may be in part due to your perineal nerve (hope i spelled that correctly). If i named the right one, pretty sure (well 80% sure, is the one that runs down the middle of the bottom of your, well bottom. I've noticed that when there is no pressure on it that relaxing your bladder sphincter to urinate seems to be a lot easier, hence the hovering in your seat. Something to try that might make it easier for you to urinate while sitting or laying on your back is to get yourself a water bottle or some large container of water and when your able or have the free time, sit in the bathtub and practice, practice, practice. Eventually you will become more accustomed to going while in that position. Hope that helps.
  11. I've tried 2 files off of www.warpmymind.com and so far I have to say that they have made it somewhat easier. Surprisingly, I've awoke twice the last two days to find my diaper wet and I've never had a lot of success with nighttime wetting. For those of you interested in the files they are BladderRetraining and its continous loop by a guy by the name MindMaster. For some people it works and for some it doesnt. Just a matter of trying it to see whether it works for you or not.
  12. I can confirm that cranberry juice works rather effectively for a dieuretic. I've also been told lemon is but dunno bout it. Watermelon seems to be a choice for night-time as well.
  13. Abena xplus all the way for me. I have used a pair of compression shorts to help hold it close to the body and thus hide the bulk a little under the jeans as well. It also might be of some help if you wear a slightly longer shirt to help cover it up a little more too, although your job's dress code may be different than mine. I will say however, that i havent had any problems as far as it being noticed and if it has been they haven't made mention of it to me. The guys I work with would have a field day with me if they ever found out but to be honest im not really concerned with them finding out.
  14. Something else to remember also is that the doctor has the patient confidentiality to take into consideration also. So being honest with him makes it that much simpler to keep you in working order and you wont have to worry about your lifestyle being discussed with others. All in all though just be honest and tell them the truth. Remember they are there for your sake not you for theirs.
  15. Saying hello from Shelby, NC here. I didn't realize there was so many in the area.
  16. IF your looking to wear a pad type setup then perhaps looking into Tena's overnight pads. They are more intended as a booster for a diaper but the overnights are full coverage and they will soak up a full wetting and usually plus a little. Ive been using them in my diapers as an extra booster ever since i went 24/7 back in july and I find that I can extend the usage of my diaper by a good 2-3 wettings or more sometimes. Bag of 30 runs about 13.99 at the local walmart here where im from. They can be found in the incontinence section where they keep all the adult briefs and pullups. If im not mistaken they make a net type stocking or shorts specifically to hold these style pads in place for incontinent people. Have seen them on a few websites but I dont remember where at now.
  17. I can verify that they dont give any details as to what is in the box. Address itself is marked, however the company name is only marked as XP. They shipped my sample packs in about 5-7 days. I live in North Carolina.
  18. Walmart should carry the depends boosts. They do work great. However, Ive found that the Tena Overnight pads work 10x better than the depends boosts. They dang near double the capacity of my diapers and they feel so great when they swell up from all the absorption. Ive been able to push a normal 6 hr diaper well over 10-12 hrs at a time. The heavy are a good one as well as they fit nicely into the diaper between the leg gathers, as will the Tena Overnights. Both have the sticky back to help position in the diaper as well. Also some people have talked of using the depends Guards for men and poking holes in the backs of them for doublers. Ive tried them to see if they work and they do to a point. But again they didnt have as much absorption capacity as the Tena and another thing I noticed with them was that with the contoured fit to a male's anatomy, in the case of a heavy wetting, they tended to leak out the top and could pose a leak problem for you. But for my personal pick, I recommend the Tena Overnight pads. The Walmart I buy them at keep them in the same area as they do their incontinence products. Bag of 30 of them here runs about $13.99.
  19. You forgot Marble Madness and good ol' Tetris for Nes. >>>Champion Lvl 25 Type A gameplay <<<
  20. If you like the depends boosts, then get the Tena Overnight pads. Those thing are like a depends boost on steroids. I used to use the boosts myself and then i tried the men's guards poking holes in them to act as a soaker. Those did ok but nothing beats the Tena so far. 13.99 for a bag of 40 I believe. I also use the depends maximum fitted myself (6 tapes). Have worn them since the 4th of July this year when I decided to go 24/7. So far I've only had to deal with one leak and thats using the same one for 6-10hrs at a time and had multiple heavy wettings in it. The Tena really helps to boost the longevity of the diaper. Another thing I like about the Tena is that as it absorbs the urine, just like a diaper, it swells up. I dunno what it is about it but it amazes me everytime when I feel the pressure. Also if you like the Depends max then try the Attends 10.
  21. www.xpmedical.com is advertising a swim diaper/plastic pants called the Discovery Trekking Containment Brief. I have one myself and can personally vouch for it keeping whats needed to stay in the diaper where it belongs. The leg gathers are nice and snug as well as the waist. Also its velcro on the sides so you can easily adjust it to what firmness you need. I wore mine with my diaper (plastic covered of course, love that crinkle!) to work today and it contained all the noise rather nicely. Its a little pricey but well worth it if you ever want a good alternative to plastic. Comes in blue, green, and purple.
  22. I'm loving this brief so far. I usually wear a pair of compression shorts over my diaper when I go to work. It works out ok but as the shorts are designed to keep muscles warm and wick away moisture, I tend to get a small wetspot on the back of each leg from the moisture wicking. Im gonna use this brief this weekend at work to see how well it conceals any wetspots and such, although I'm fairly confident it will hold up rather nicely compared to the shorts. Also I've noticed that I can more effectively use my diapers without fear of leaking and have actually reduced my number used per day from 5 to 3 or 4 at most thereby cutting costs on purchasing more. I guess its built my confidence up in how much the diaper can handle and allowed me to push them to their max.
  23. Eve Online for me for online gaming. Would have to say Crysis for offline, although I've been wanting to try it online. And of course I'm diapered every minute of the day so this makes it much simpler for me to enjoy my gaming time. Hehe, I remember a post somewhere about someone saying that everyone likes to short hand "AFK Bathroom break", would be funny to say "AFK - Diaper change"
  24. Just for a heads up, BM are pretty much odorless with one of these on over your standard issue diaper.
  25. Hi, I ordered one of these myself and have just recently gotten it from this website. http://www.discoverytrekking.com/special_brief.html I am amazed at how nice and snug this actually is. The website mentions it as being usable in a similar fashion to plastic pants and for the last day now, I have used it as such. It does a great job at keeping any crinkle noise to an extreme minimum. As for ease of putting it on, its just like putting on a regular diaper and I like that it can be adjusted more snug or loose as needed. The leg gathers are amazing on this thing as well. I actually sprung a leak earlier today and it kept it all inside. The inner layer is very soft and the outer layer kinda reminds me of wetsuit material. The waist and the legs have elastic in them so they hug you very securely. Havent had a chance to test the ability to help in concealing BM odor (yet ). But I'm fairly confident that combined with my diaper, it will keep odor to a very low minimum as well. Total price on the first one I ordered was about $65.00. Shipping was about 5 days time and came in a very discreet package. Got a blue one now but with how I like this one, I believe a Green may be in the works very soon. Anyways, for those of you looking for a nice plastic pant or a nice swim diaper thats reusable, I highly recommend this one.
