  1. Trust me they are here. I don't know maybe you should stop focusing on the "why me" and go along with the "for them" theme of Christmas. I don't care if you get depressed or how many pills you take to be quite blunt. Christmas is about giving, sacrifice for others, and selflessness which many of us happen to enjoy, THAT makes us feel happy. I personally don't think the New Year is the most awesome holiday but it isn't about necessarily the specific day (well for that one it is...but..) it is about the fact that we are entering into a "New Year" where any thing is possible as long as we are willing to change ourselves. That is the whole point of the resolution. So what have we gathered Today class? This time of the year is first about saying Thank you for every thing you have, Giving something of yourself to others in acts of kindness and charity like following the teachings of Christ (if you're religious and if not Square Duck is right it is celebrated like that too), and reflecting on how you lived this last year so that you can make a change for the better in the New Year coming up. So Steve try some of that, and instead of posting back with something like a "I have and life still sucks" post, which I have absolutely no doubt that you will any way, keep doing it and reflect on what you've done for others and how you can change yourself for the future.
  2. I'm sorry but didn't you or doesn't some one make 1 of these every year?
  3. I remember that video from awhile ago. I too applaud your courage in doing what the vast majority of us will never do. I will say that frankly the only thing I do not like about the "interview" is how you are alone, on the stage, on a couch, and Tyra is with the audience like it is some sort of court meant to single you out.
  4. I havn't personally been caught but last night, while in a Target, I was with some of my friends picking up a few things with which to make cheese sticks, I noticed one of the girls who was working zoning on her knees and needless to explain her clothes made it to where, I am 99.9% sure, a diaper became visible but no one would really notice unless you knew what you were looking for as unless you were right by her, it looked like an undershirt. Of course knowing what to look at, as well as she walked past me previously in the store, I know she wasn't wearing another shirt . I thought about going over to her and mentioning something about it to her like her "undergarments" being visible but being with some of my friends the instant I would go any where else they would surly look at where I was heading, ask me, and probably notice as well. No one else in the area seemed to notice either so I figured leave it be and she'll probably realize it in a minute or two. This is also the first time I can say I have offically seen some one else in public wearing. Also this post took me about 20 times to re-edit because I thought I would take the lazy route but it ended up making me do more work ...always hit preview post!
  5. Hey Rockies, hope things work out for ya and you can get back asap!
  6. I'm sorry but am I going to be the only one that points this out? I guess so. There is absolutely no evidence that the people on the street corner are infact Tea Party protestors. There are a couple of completely off things about this video. 1. The people on the corner are holding mass produced signs, you can tell this because many of them are the exact same, which people at tea party protests do not have. This is actually a common thread with social progressive protestors not to mention the majority of the signs are of che and you are too far away to actually see what is written on the signs. 2. There is a camera already focused on the crowd on a tripod quite obviously out in the open. There are a ton of variables that come with this but this screams to me "non-news affiliated third party filming." I say this because if it were news affiliated they would have had a much closer shot. So what was this person doing sitting on a corner filming these people for, perhaps waiting for something to happen? 3. The trouble maker seems to come out of nowhere on the right side. What I can gather is he directly comes out of his way, across traffic to make an issue with these people on the street corner. Once he gets there he seemingly starts to walk by and obviously says something to insight these people's anger which essentially means he goes out of his way because he wants to make these people angry at him. 4. When the appearent "violence" breaks out the guy gets what a tap or 2 and otherwise nothing else? There is even a person who is walking towards him while he hits their legs with a stick. Seriously, anyone who has ever been in a fight or who practices martial arts knows that you don't get down and love tap the person's legs with a stick, they will pound you into nothing. In the end everybody just walks away, odd because I thought 2 seconds ago they wanted to "violently" beat this guy senseless right? I believe this video is fake, it is either staged or it is an agitator going up to a random group of people standing on a street corner just to get some footage of it so they can say, "ZOMG T PARTIE VILENCE RITE HEAR!!!" Which is exactly what you have done. When I look at it, it looks to me like 2 or a whole group of people set up on a street corner with a camera specifically placed at a distance where you really couldn't tell what affiliation the group had just to try to make it look like what it isn't to other people who are all too quick to believe what they want to see. Also, just a last note, there is STILL absolutely no evidence that the Tea Party people are violent and isn't it odd that they actually never have had rallys turn violent? At the Beck rally at 8/28, which my 90 year old grandmother was at along with over 500,000 other people, there wasn't so much as a piece of trash left on the ground afterward. Why is that? The reason for that is these are people who hold respect for their surroundings as well as for people other than themselves, they aren't your pissy teenage to mid 20's, union affiliated, sign holding, chanting crowds that leave the War memorials flooded with trash after their rally on 10/2/10 where the unions forced people to attend. These crowds have totally different mindsets. P.S. People at Tea Party rally's normally are wearing red, white, and blue, and are carrying American Flags. That is a big noticable difference between this crowd and Tea Party protestors.
  7. Now I know what you all are thinking, but I intend to stay out of as many political threads on here as possible. I will say Ashes chill out, many of your accusations such as the "hail beck" are way off base. I will add into this to the discussion: Otherwise on a side note, calling Fox News 'Faux' News is simply improper grammar, saying 'faux' is pronounced as if saying "foe" and frankly is a weak attempt at a petty and unfounded attack.
  8. Local radio show this morning had crew go see it and said there is a ton of male...units in the movie but otherwise if you enjoyed their other stuff you will love the movie.
  9. Pun intended? Easy: 1. Over there. 2. Those guys. 3. A big one with a fast spinning thing.
  10. Lets do away with lawyers and settle everything with bare knuckle fighting. In all seriousness though, if you are seeking advice like this then listen to Angela, you'll be better off in the end.
  11. Not really gonna get in on this thread lol but I will say this: Weather or not a ban is on automatic weapons in the U.S.(and frankly any where) criminals who want them, will get them. The ones who won't are the law abiding. Your statement is true however while people who have no desire to obey the law won't, they can still be arrested and will be subject to punishment designated by breaking said law.
  12. I would have almost literally given my left nut to get the picture, but the other night on my way home from work at about 11:10pm, I was on my way home driving through the downtown area here and I saw the most magnificent lightning strike. It completely light the sky all the way across the entire area, but it completely lit the area up almost like the sun was setting beneath some clouds. There were so many bolts it was just a completely astounding sight. Great shots Bookem!
  13. How about allowing them to discuss it however they want to, most likely privately, and allowing it to end at that instead of inferring you know with what are the site owner's desires.
  14. While yes Mods here are diaper wearing as well, you are no longer a "member" of DD, you are a moderator. There is a different set of rules that apply to you because you are in a higher trusted position than regular members and you are held to a higher standard. They teach security guards in states that make it mandatory to get a Class D license before they work about laws. They also teach them that they are not supposed wear their uniform anywhere except to work, at work, and on the way home from work. The reason for this is if you stop and get gas and are in the store, someone robbing the store might glance at you and think you are a cop and subsequently shoot you. It has happened in the past many times. Normal people don't walk around dressed like cops because there is a difference in responsibility, cops never technically stop being cops, even off duty. They can and will still arrest someone if they are commiting a felony and will still pull their firearm which they are allowed to carry at all times even not when in uniform. The point I am getting at is moderators are like cops, either you are or you aren't. Personally I like you Betty, I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything like that, and I'm not saying you can't post. Just threads like this where it can become a shitstorm of back and forth may not be the best place get in the middle and take a side.
  15. I'm not posting this based on how I feel towards any argument. I would just like to post about the appropriateness of a moderator getting involved on a thread like this with so much potential to blow up. A moderator's job is to maintain a neutral stance towards users and opinions so that they may omit inappropriate material, be it spam or off topic content, and maintain the trust of the forum members and owner. DailyD and Repaid from time to time will leave a comment or two but they maintain a good standing with every forum member and stay true to that neutrality so they can view forum based issues on the actual issue facts at hand. It is frankly not appropriate for any one who is a moderator to get involved in a thread like this when they choose a side and tell people to: Highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
  16. Hey all, long time no post right I actually voluntarily saw a professional about 2 years ago and to put it bluntly, short, and sweet..she couldn't have cared any less about the whole thing. We were joking around once and jokingly she said, "Don't tempt me or I'll write a book about you!" to which I said, "Oh ya uh huh." The reply was, in a serious tone, "Seriously I'll write a book."
  17. I'll always remember him from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmCtU1C3dcc
  18. It's a joke... Interesting thread though.

    Maxi Pads

I got started with maxi pads before I knew I liked diapers, I just knew that I liked wearing something and being able urinate into the pad. I've said it before, my first "diaper" was made out of underwear and pads.
  21. Any update or anything come about from it yet Bri?
