Hello, I was at the Pride Parade in Long Beach and Bri, Square and Sassy went to the beach after the parade. Time did not allow me to go with them but more importantly I did not have anything to wear to beach. This is a big cirsis for sissy who must always have the perfect attire for any occasion. I resloved not to have that happen to me again so I made me a sailor girl swimsuit. I would love to know what you think about it! And what other types of clothing you think would be appropreate for a baby to wear to the beach. Boy-girl or sissy. My link

Hello, Sorry for the long delay in posting anything here on the boards. I am currently out of work and spending all my time trying to make an extra buck and look for some more perm. employment. I am indeed tied up on Halloween and not going to Vegas. I am planing on going down to Mill Ave in Tempe for the festivites there on Halloween night after about 8:00 pm. There is a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at a theater on Mill Ave on Halloween and between that and the party on Mill it will be a lot of fun. I don't know if you are intrested or not Crinkle but this is a fun one and you can remain farily incogneetooo. I will not be making any plans until I find out what is going on on the work front. The parade season is over but will return in March. Phoenix is in March and Vegas in end of April or first of May and the Long Beach parade is ususally the third weekend in May. San Deigo is in July. Every major city has one and they are easy to find on the internet. We could do a AB/DL get together any time or surrounding one of these events. I have pushed Vegas in the past because it is a cheep destination to get to. There are lots of diffrent accomidations and things to do. and most of all "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". I will mention thought that an awful lot of folks have gone home with a picture of me in there camera and or cell phone. usually accompanied by one or more people in their party. I love to hear about all the get togthers that happne. Bri and I want to go to one of the campouts they have in Canada on time. Bri went to Fulsom St Fair and had a good time that is another great outlet for us to use. Let me know what suits your fancy. Thanks, Tami

Oh! This is great!! I am just thrilled with all of the responses to this thread. All of them are important and seem to be well thought. I don't have the time to give as much imput as I would like to these great posts at the moment. I agree with most everything that has been said. There are trends from fromer groups like the Gay and Les communities that we can and should learn from. I think that the discussions above go a long way to finding the common ground of the community and a reslove to put our best foot forward. I hope to get back to this soon. I guess some could think of me as a "Flammer" just because my outfits are over the top a bit. It's part of the presentation. The fact that I am wearing a diaper is not the first thing people would notice but they would jump to that conclusion fairly quickly. I work hard to not be "in your face" about anything that I do. I definatly have fun! and lot of it. I try to make it as fun as possible for those I come in contact with. Even if it is inconvenent at the time. Bri, Square, and Sassy could maybe give some additional points of veiw as to how well this is accomplished. But the point here is my way is not the only way! But I do feel that most whom I have come into contact with in public have come away with a possitive experiance. I just want to clarify a few things about what the communitiy thinks is appropreate and what is not. I am not going to rant of complain. On the contrary I have been dying for reasonable and thought provoking talk about how we will present ourselves to the public for years. DiaperBoyKR-I noticed that you mentioned that what Bri, Lynnie and DW have been doing is ok since it represnets us in a cute way and not just in your face "I get off on wearing diapers". Did you mean Heidi Lynn by "Lynnie"?. I noticed that you left me out? Just by curiosity what do you think of my outtings to places like Fetish balls, Pride events and the occasional trip to vegas? If cute is the criteria then mayby I am a succsess. Not that I am cute but my outfits could not be described as anything but. In fact that is the response that I get almost without exception. Since the public flock to me and want my picture and say what I am doing is fun is this exceptable? I know that opinons will very some but I am intrested in the mood of the community in general. I pick my places and I do my best to pull it off in a cute and hummorus mannor. If an Celebrity were to wear a dipaer out in public to make a statement or cause a stir would we be all over it? History says that we would. When "shock jock" Howard Stern dose a piece on "Diaper Fetishes" and or "Audlt Babies" That is all over the boards. What about when it shows up in movies or on TV like the scean in "CSI" or "Stop or my Mom will Shoot". Some of these shows we come off looking very bad and others not to bad but rarely do we look good. One question that I have is if we never present ourselves in a possitive way and the media continues to present us in a negitive way how will we ever change public perception? Some of us will continue to pull dumb stunts that the media will jump all over to further propogate the lie about who we really are as a community. Do we just want to continue to keep our head in the sand and let be? Do you mind being thought a pervert even though you are not just because people are uneducated? The next generation will grow up thinking that they are weird or perverted and close themsleves off and have poor self image and low selfestem. How may of the people who pull dump stunts or outward supididy are uneducated themselves about our community and have not been able to find resourses to help them cope with their feelings? If we were more out there as a community and took a little annishitive to educate the public about who we are and what we are about would fewer people do dumb stuff? I did some dumb stuff before I knew anything about the community. If I had not found DPF and the rest of the community and found some common intested people and come to terms with my feeling I may have done some more dumb or even stupid things. If we do want to educate the public what message do we give and how and what is the best way to present it? Do we have a responsiblilty to Tommy, Heidi, Angela, and the many who took a chance so we would know that we are not alone? Do we owe it to the poor folks out there who still think they are alone? What about those future generations of AB/DL? Do we pave a better path for them? Or do we just do what is easy and in our comfort zones and live with the results. I think something needs to be done. Do you relalize how few people even in Psych and counseling world really know anything about us. I guess I ranted a little but we need some quality discussion on this topic. See it's not jsut me!! Bri, Square, Heidi and Amity there are others out there that have found appropreate times and places to be themselves and have some fun. If you don't ever try it you will never know! But no some of you will still hide in fear that you will be rejected and scorned. Ofcouse the same people will spend hours looking for anything AB or diaper related to show up in public and clammer about it when it dose. (Don't get me wrong I do the same thing)But if you would love to catch your favorite celbrity or famous person out in a diaper or AB wear and think that these various stunts by celebs is appropreate. Wow! I wish that Alberta were closer to Phoenix. I have not been to far into Canada in a good many years. I have been to Waterton and Calgary a few times. I am glad I took your advice and wore an extra soaker pad! I needed it! Thought the movie was great! I loved some of the improve stuff they thru in and thought the did a great job over all. There was only one thing I thought that they left out that they should not have. But I will not play the spoiler so that discussion can wait for a while. I know that this is still a month away but I wanted to give it a bump. We have not heard anymore from you SOCAL folks on your intrest in this gathering? If you are weary of me being in a little girl swim suit and a diaper just say so. If you are looking for another event that is more low key to just meet people we would like to do an event like that as well. we could do both in the same weekend. Seems like we get a few intreseted and then they chicken out as the event draws near. I hope that we will see you at one of these events soon. I have had no luck at all with the new layout. I have tried several times to post picture links in my messages and have had no luck at all. I use Photobucket and have always used the link center that was in the old format without any trouble. I have tried several things but nothing has worked and I get real frustrated with it. some times when I go to you new insert link it wont let me out and when it does the whole message I had typed in to go with the photo is gone. I don't mind the apperance of the new layout but I am having trouble with the function. Thanks

Thanks Bri and Sassy! I am always very careful about how I approach these things. I never want to force my oppinions on anyone else. I am only one person and I know it. We have a great deal in common here to have fun with at DD. I get weary of people who think things should only be one way. Or when they bicker over little diffrences. We are all a little different or we would not be part of this community at all. I do however want to have fun and let people know that it is ok to have fun as and AB/DL. If we run around being missrible nobody will want to join in. So I have fun! I think that is why I get such a great reception from the public I come in contact with. I am having fun and being open about what I like. People respect that! I have put the 22nd on my calendar and am planing on coming. If people would feel more comfortable with a more low key event I could wear a less flamboyant outfit than a little sailor girl outfit that would clearly show my diaper. More poeople is a better statement for our community than a louder one? Maybe this is why we have had such trouble getting people to come to our other events? Of course this is diffrent than the parades where we are trying to make a satement. Let me know what you think on what type of exposure we are looking for on this? Also it might influance what beach we chose to go to? More flamboyant? we may want to chose a beach that is more adult oriented. Thanks,

SoCal That is why they make shade tarps and sunscreen!! You can stay at the beach for quite a while if you have both of the above. I went with my family a week or so ago and we took the wagon that we used in the parade and it worked awsome for draging the cooler out across the sand. I would love to come and might even get "B" to come along if if fits in her schedule. Lets try to stay away from Labor Day weekend. It will be too croweded and I have plans then. I love the idea of a BBQ and have lots of equipment including duch ovens and a portable table. We could have a feast. I will need to start making my little girl sailor bathing suit though. I hope that my little story did not kill this thread? It's the honest truth I promise! A conversation that I had with Sassy the other day via text message got me to thinking that this is kind of an important subject to us. We were talking about "Forced regresion" and what it ment to me. As I stated up above I am not into pain or masochism. So I have to define Forced for me. Some people think that you can not force anything without physical envolvement. I don't think this is true. None of us pay taxes because we want to. We just prefer to do it rather than lose our freedom and go to jail. So are we forced to pay taxes or just infulanced to do so. In this case I would prefer that I was infulacned into regression preferably by a dominate with a good sence of humor and a michevious and sexy way about her. So if you have had thought or would like to be regressed. What means would you prefer the Dom to use. Rewards, punishments, bondage, blackmail, being caught, revenge, the desire to embarass or humilate you for a good reason or no reason at all just because it tickles their fancy? A combination of some or all of the above. IF you don't think that there are women out there who like to embarass their man explanin to me where "His & Her" matching wardrobe and clothing came from. Lots of women thrive on embarassing their man or even each other. You have seen them dress each other up in ridiculess clothing and take the unsuspecting birthday girl out for breakfast. I think they like to see the power they hold over us manifest itself thru us proving that we will do embarassing stuff jsut to please them. They don't mind pouring on the charm to get you to do it either. "Oh come on it will be so cute" "If you do this for me I will make it worth your while" If they were to say what they really mean it would be "Look girlfreind this guy would go to the end of the earth for me so BACK OFF!" Come on I have read the stories wirten by AB/DL for years and it always plays out something like this. We are unsure of our desire for Diapers so we prefer a situation that instigated by a second or third party as an excuse for wearing. Love to hear your thoughts on this one! Tami

Love punishment but not pain. I prefer to be teased and humiliated into being in diapers or my sissy clothes. I have never been much for pain. I have let a Mistress spank, flog and paddle me only because it was her thing and I figured if she would help me with my thing why should I not indulge her a little too. Last Decmeber when my spleen ruptured I was given a drug that imobilized me but I was still coherant. I was in really bad shape and I could hear all that was being said about me and my condition. I could also feel everything. It was alarming and frustraitng as they put the breathing tube down my throght. I tried everything to alert the docs and nurses that I was still coherant but could not move a muscle or make a sound. As they poked and proded me to get all of the IV's and cnetral line into me that I needed and loaded me on the life flight I was in a lot of pain but completely awake. I tried some more to alert the life flight people of my condition but could not. One of the life flight personel was an expectant mother who was not to far along but starting to show her belly rubed on my forhead and face as they loaded me in the helocopter. The had to use some sort of hand held or portable divice on me and there was not room for it anywhere in the helocopter so the set it on my belly. This was excuciating and again there was nothing I could do about it. Long story short I was rushed right thru the ER of Triage or what ever it's called and right into the O.R. all the time the docs and nurses talking about how bad off I was and hoping that my wife would show up before I died. I was still awake as they pumped me full of blood and other fluids to keep me alive and then I stabalized enought for them to start cutting into me to find out what was going on. I was awake until just after they got me cut open and the fluids from the internal bleeding started to run down my side. Then finaly unconciousness!!! Great news I survived and all is well except I no longer have a spleen. I still have nightmares about it and I don't think I will ever feel the same or as tolorant about the whole spanking, beating, and paddling thing ever again. I know that I will never want to be tied down or imobilized again. Too many bad memories would come streaming back and I am trying to put that behind me. Still love to be teased and embarassed though. I don't think that will ever change. I like the stories where women use their charm and wits to get the unsuppecting sissy or baby to do what they want. I don't mind the whole shamed into it thing either. Black mail is ok but not as good as being beguiled into it by an athority figure of someone I am enamored with. Just my 2 cents Tami

Sorry to rant a little. lol these are some of my little pet peves. I hope you did not think that I was railing on you. Not at all. Just upset that there is so little leadership in a world that needs it so badly. As for liking the whole poop thing I have no idea why that is as big a mistery to me as liking diapers in the first place. Some of you may not like the way a poopy nappy feels or even a wet nappy when it starts to get cold. Those of us who do like the feel are as perplexed by your not liking it as you are that we do. Baked beans would work fine but there is a lot of salt in them so if you wear them for awhile you will start to get a rash and dry skin. "Oatmeal to thick for eating" ob the package of oatmeal there will always be a recipie for cooking it. The consistancy is a little bit thiner than I like for mess in a diaper. In order to make it thicker I add more oatmeal than it calls for in the recipie. You can also cook it longer this makes it a bit stickier and you cook more water out so it is thicker. "To thick for eating" I gues that you could eat it even as thick as I like it to be but I dont think anyone would perfer it that way for eating. I like large messes, ok very large messes! this is hard to accomplish the natural way. but with the food stuff you can make it as large or small as you wish. Also you can manipulate the consistancy. With the real thing it's a "crap shoot" You take what you get! sometimes not what you hoped for! As far as wasting food? were you brought up in the depression? People mostly older depression era talk this retoric all the time. You know people in communist contries would twist this saying in propaganda films to make it look like we gourged ourselves rather than share our food with starving people in under developed countries. The whole thing is a joke! Most of americans over eat anyway leaving a little on you plate would be a good thing! I know I used to be one of them. I got a surgicaly induced eating disorder and leave food on my plate all the time. Best thing that ever happend to me. Ok other than meeting and marrying my wife. The fact that people throught the world are starving is a political propblem not a lack of food propblem. We have huge stores of food that go to waste every year. We pay some of our farmers not to grow food to keep the grain market from falling thru the floor. If we could get the stupid governments to work it out nobody would ever go hungry! How about this to solve some of our economic trouble. Start paying the farmers who we are paying not to grow food to actualy grow food. Then stop sending money to our freinds and allies for foriegn aid and start sending goods and services that that hard working people in the US are dying to provide. Hey what a novel idea! Ever heard it before? Of course not because it dose not help the stupid governments we give it to stay in power the way money and wepons do. Just my two cents worth. Don't get me worng I don't like to just waste things. But I spend money I need on diapers I don't all the time because it makes me feel good. What is the differnce is spendind a little of it on some food stuff for mess? So be frugle and save some food in your cupboards for a rainy day. But have a little balance in life. "What is the use for longgevity in life if there is no l"LIFE" in your longgevity?" Who understands this better than those of us you regress from time to time? I have used lots of diffrent stuff to replicate poop. Oatmeal works well if you cook it a little to thick for normal eating it's even better. Other cooked cereals work well too. I like chocolate Malto-Meal best. I cook it a little bit thicker than the directions call for as well. I have used cream cheese, cookie dough, cooked pasta, and other food stuff too. I like cooked pinto beans a lot to if you cook them yourself so there is no salt in them they wont dry out your skin and you can wear them longer. If you drain them after cooking them thouroghly and them smash them up while they are still warm it is easyier to do. I like these almost better than the real thing because you can wear them longer without skin damage and you can still snuggle up to mommie becasue you don't reak to high heven. You can wear them out in public under descreat clothing as well for the same reason. Just some suggestions though! Have fun with it Tami
